Welcome to Metaphysics! / syncronicity
January 18, 2003, 13:42:47
There is a good article on auras ,etc in the "e-books" section of the file library (the downloads section).Just go to there and you'll see what looks like a very good e-book about the subjuct of auras. It's not the same one, though.the one I read wasn't as sophisticated.maybe it was an earlier version of the same e-book.this one looks better than the last version.   Tom-"the celestine prophecy"-I'll read that, thanks!  It does make sense that the higher energy levels you have, the more that kind of thing happens.Sometimes my energy levels fluctuate, and when they are lower, I feel more "grounded" in the normal everyday physical experience.A few years ago, when I think my energy levels were higher, I used to have really strange experiences where it's almost like the air would "shift".This would be followed by a lesson that would be shown to me,using everyday people and events, and then the air would "shift" back, and life would continue in a normal way. It's almost like a deep current of meaning in the most mundane of coincidental events in life.It got to the point where I could sustain that perceptual "frequency", and it would just keep going.coincidence upon coincidence upon coincidence would just keep piling up.It sort of felt like the scene in the wizard of oz-"pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!".I actually had to forcefully stop it, as it was starting to affect me too much.I felt I was loosing my grip a little, to tell you the truth!(or gaining it perhaps?). however, I think I will let that current flow now, as I think I could handle it.Also , it just seems too unnatural to stop it-lowering your energy levels because reason tells us to.Reason helps us to sustain the present "dream of the world",going around in our own,self-created circles. It will fight, and do anything to keep us in it.When it comes time to expand our dream, we need to put reason aside, as it will only lead us where we have already been.I now see that events of syncronicity are ways the spirit tells us we're ready for an expansion. It's like the energetic interconnections of everything oround us, made manifest in our present physicality.

I just recently had a lucid dream, and in it I put my hands in the air (technique in AD)and asked for my sword.I got it, but it was made of paper and all floppy! I guess I'm not ready yet...[B)]Insertwhat's that about energy and shielding? I guess I'll start there!

Welcome to Healing discussions! / Taller
January 15, 2003, 12:55:11
that's a good question.I've often wondered if it's possible to change the energetic structure of the body somehow.I have heard of buddists in tibet being able to change their eye colour through meditation somehow.I would personally like to change them to a nice bright red[:D].I would also like to be a little taller as well.please someone respond! is this a valid idea?

Welcome to Dreams! / What do you do when lucid?
January 07, 2003, 13:45:43
in order to be able to leave the dream and travel elsewhere, you need to have a degree of lucidity that is higher and clearer than normal lucid awareness.the hardest part is remembering who you are in physical life.I usually have to stop and really think what I wanted to do.if you do remember, and suceed in leaving the dream, you have to maintain that degree of awareness, otherwise you will be distracted and end up in  another dream.I have suceeded in entering the RTZ once so far (it sure didn't feel like a normal dream, but who knows? maybe it was a "super real and stable" kind of dream? whatever it was it was fun!).when I became lucid, I flew around looking at everything.I succeded in remembering that I wanted to try to go to the RTZ.I stated out loud "I want to go to the real time zone!".I flew into the dream sky ,and left the dream.when I needed to sustain lucidity and clarity of vision, I loudly stated "awareness now!".I think stating your needs loudly helps to wake up your lucidity.after flying through a transitional area-kind of an empty sky kind of place, there was no definate dimentional barrier or sign "now entering the real time zone!"http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_tongue.gif" border=0>-I descended to earth through the sky (that was really coolhttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_shock.gif" border=0>).I ended up at niagara falls.it felt more solid and stable somehow.in the dream environment , I was able to use the "awareness now !" statement to sustain/enhance lucidity, and clarify vision, but once I got to the supposed RTZ , it didn't work anymore, and I couldn't sustain my energy.I flew above the landscape for maybe a minute. I decided to flew to my hometown of guelph, ontario, just a bit north of there.I flew above lake ontario, then my awareness faded completely.I couldn't sustain it anymore (maybe there is a way?) and I woke up in my body.               I was there physically last year for a couple of weeks.I remember feeling the incredible natural power and roaring thunder of the falls, and was thinking what a spiritual place it must have been for the native people who lived there before it was discovered by europeans. If it was the RTZ ,and not a VERY solid dream environment,it does make sense that I would end up there, possibly being a "power spot", with dimentional connections. what do you think? I am open to opinions as to whether it was the RTZ or not.It sure did feel like it,but I also wasn't there for very long.I actually don't really care if it was or not, I would just like to know exactly what IS going on in dreams. Is the whole expereince -obe and all-a creation of the mind? , or do these alternate realitys exist? or is it a combination of the two-alternate realitys created by the sum total of human life experience, on another dimentional level? I guess it doesn't really matter either way. It's a lot of fun!http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

Welcome to Dreams! / What do you do when lucid?
January 05, 2003, 13:12:04
sometimes I end up in a tall apartment building when I become lucid.Ilike to look out the window "whoa, it's a LONG way down!".I look around at the landscape, then I JUMP OUT THE WINDOW ! (just make sure it is a lucid dreamhttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_wink.gif" border=0>).once I met socrates, and talked to him for awhile.I "woke up" in the past, and he was in my living room ! I said to him "this is strange, this is all in the past" . he said " time really is all one".I asked him to teach me about the structure and nature of reality, and he said he has a student who was out of body for 3 weeks !  another time I left the dream behind completely, and went to the real time zone.the difference in the quality and "feel" of realitys  was very noticable.during my latest attempt I had low energy levels, and everything was fuzzy.I requested to go to the moon in the real time zone.I flew into the dream sky, leaving the dream behind.I went through a transitionary area.I entered the RTZ, and immediately began hearing what sounded like thousands of peoples rambling daily thoughts. It was very annoying, almost to an overwhelming point.then my vision whited out and I couldn't see anything except white static.I felt that I did land on the moon, though.but I couldn't see exactly where I was.then it all ended and I had a normal dream in which I was walking around on the dusty moon, stepping over neil armstrongs footprints and ruining them.

this thread reminds me of an interseting experience I had awhile ago.I wasn't using a crystal, but a stone with all kinds of fossils of shells & corals and stuff.I found that I could actually feel vibrations from the stone when I ran my hands over top of it, without touching it.After doing that for awhile, I got these perfectly round, red  circles on my palms, and I started seeing geometric patterns, like force fields when I closed my eyes.It actually created a certain sense of fear in me, and the next day I gotreally horribly sick! what the hell was that?! it was very strange! also-are there any good books on the subject of using crystals as related to chacras and AP?

kakkarot-yes, I can gather energy (chi/ki?).I don't always get around to practicing  that every day, however, I should try to make the time, as it will probably help.      kmd242-about your idea about the "clamp" thing,I have thought of the mind- created thought form idea, and it does make sense, that's probably all that is (it can be hard to tell the difference, sometimes! , but the "real" entitys do seem more real, and they "stand out" more).          however , it never occured to me that  the entity that was waiting beside my body could actually be my guide. That's a very interesting idea, and it is entirely possible! I have often wondered if I have a guide out there somewhere. It is difficult to confront these beings, because they exude such power.I'll see if I can make contact again, though. If it is my guide , I'll have to apologise for considering trying to fight him! he just seems so HUGE ,and DARK , and threatening, but when I think about it , the fear was MY reaction, he actually seemed very intelligent and knowledable, and after all , he was just sort of waiting for me....damn, this stuff can be so complicated. thanks for all the input! it helps a lothttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

hey kakkarot-actually i'm not far from calgary!I live in cranbrook, b.c., but there are no jobs or other musicians here, and if I don't find something soon,I'll end up back in ontario for awhile, then move again.I have actually been thinking about calgary! I was there once, last march when I first came to cranbrook. I got followed by a big mean looking dude in the eaton centre, so I went down an escalator to get a better perspective. I stared at him as he came to follow me, and he immediately turned off into the next store. But anyways...what I will do is put forward the intent to confront whoever/whatever this is, and hopefully get some answers.I suppose it would be a good thing to learn more about astral self defence and protection techniques, and find out who they are, and why they were attracted to me in the first place.I don't actually know any priests or metaphysicists who could help me, and hopefully I can take care of this myself, to keep it from happening again.my energy levels are so low right now.http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_dead.gif" border=0>

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Drinking/ nightlife habits
December 13, 2002, 12:50:03
I generally don't drink at all.mainly because it greatly impairs your judgement, makes you feel like crap the next day, and you look in your wallet and all your money's gone.I am also not supposed to drink because I'm on anti depressants/anti anxiolytics.I also find that people who hang out in bars a lot have a negative vibe about them.Alcoholism runs in my family, so I try to avoid it.I don't smoke either or do drugs, as I know they just make you less healthy and clear.I find it much more satisfying to spend my time playing my guitar,in meditation, reading, or exploring the country and hills around town.I guess I'm not exactly a wild party animal, eh?

I tried explaining it to my step-dad,and he said the ususal bovine excrement "what the hell are YOU on!?!"http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_sad.gif" border=0>line.I never tell anybody untill after I know them for awhile, and can handle it.I usually don't bother anymore. How can people be so stupid and arrogant? How can they, in all there holyness folly comprehend the true nature of reality? I try to explain that YOUR reality itself is a reflection of the limitations of your belief systems and perceptions.T he world ALWAYS conforms to your own perceptual limitations, without exception, and they are like "duh?,huh?,wha?"http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_dissapprove.gif" border=0>.thank god for everyone at astral pulse, where we can actually talk about this stuff!http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

I have to use a library computer,so I can watch that spiral thing before bed,but I wonder if I could just make one out of a drawing on a piece of paper, the spin it on a pencil or something?

#487
how about Robert Monroe? especially his first book "journeys out of the body".His techniques are what gave me my 1st OBE, and the book is a classic in the field of astral projection.

next time I achieve a lucid dream i'll try to make it to STONEHENGE in the real time zone.

Hi helen! here's my responses:
1-not yet, I can probably make it happen though (possibly a door to the astral dimentions?)   2-sometimes.  3-no,but one time I lost my wallet,so I closed my eyes and asked "where is my wallet".I saw it in a certain spot in my room.I went there and there it was!  4-Not always, although I find that if I am very, very tired,I can't make it happen.Energy levels generally have to be above a certain level.  5-Usually between 90 and 100%!  6-Yes, the freedom!.  7-I would feel tied down like a dog on a leashhttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_sad.gif" border=0>.8-as long as they don't extend the thought of themselves being blind into the astral, they should be able to learn to see like everyone else, unless it is an etheric energetic condition, not a physical energetic condition.  9-yes,I have definately moved beyond the fear barrier.Even the separation doesn't bother me anymore. It's just a very interesting experience.  10-definately not all in your head.you have to learn to say to yourself "later!not right now."robert monroe stated in "journeys out of the body" a chapter devoted to the connection between astral projection and sexuality.I personally find it to be an absolute prerequisite that I need a high level of sexual energy in order to convert it to etheric energy."you can do 2 things with sexual energy.you can make love with it,or you candream with it"-Don Juan Matus.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream Walking
November 22, 2002, 12:57:14
Yes, It does seem to be possible to do those things. The key to success in these areas of experience is having a high energy level (don't waste the energy during sexual activity, raise and build energy daily, meditation to train your focusother ways?).I have found that the higher your energy levels are, the easier it is to stay focused, clear, and not be distracted and end up in another dream. In the recent past I have left the dream behind to go to the real time zone.I wasn't sure if it would work, but it definately did!http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_shock.gif" border=0>.I haven't tried to enter someone elses dreams yet,or travel to the astral planes yet,but I plan to give it a go next time I achieve a lucid dream and remember my physical life enough to know what my goal was (not always easy!).I keep you posted! My brother said once that one of his friends was able to enter his dreams. It seems like it is possible.

#496
congratulations! your world(s) will never be the samehttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_big.gif" border=0>.To think you were going to quit after only one week! It took me two weeks, and most people more than that. The vibrations should gradually increase in "pulse" or frequency rate up and down your body, until they are eventually a gentle warmth. You don't need to think that they will always be violent like they are at the beginning.

#497
Hi unibrow (funny name-reminds me of that guy in REM).your first experience sounds like you might be getting somewhere, if you keep practicing AP and energy raising.Have you ever experienced the vibrations you feel just before separating? If not-lookout! they will probably extremely violent at first. The were for me.It felt like I had mega thousands of volts of electricity running through me,but it was such a cool, interesting experience that I kept doing it, and they gradually increased in frequency. Now I barely notice them at all. They just feel warm.As far as your second experience, for years I've had experiences of suddenly becoming lucid and then hearing amazing music I've never heard before. It's usually symphonic, and far too long and complex to remember and write down (I can read and write music).Just amazing stuff.Layer upon layer upon layer of textures.I didn't know that place was called focus 12 (R. Monroe terminology?).I would like to find out how to get there more often. While in that place and state of mind, I definately felt I had a higher, clearer creative connection. Nuecreature-it's interesting what you said about "clear smoke".Isee that all the time! All I have to do is look in the air, especially around and above trees. What is that? do you ever see clear lines all over the place? When I was a kid and began seeing them,I asked my mother "what are those lines everywhere?" She said "what lines?!" she had no idea what I was talking about.I never brought it up again.

#498
That's an interesting site, but I don't think i'd be able to use the "key sound" because I am a border in a house with thin walls! The owner of the house in a room  close to mine would think "what the hell is he doing in there!" .The idea of using a different kind of breathing to push the energy down and diffuse it,rather than the usual fast, shallow breaths from the upper chest, is interesting. It seems like it's just a matter of diffusing, and moving the energy throughout the body, rather than just in one place,as in the "normal" way of stimulation..Like the guy who made the website said-it's a technique that's already built into us, we just have to take some time and remember how to do it.Us astral projectors who are somewhat adept at moving energy around in our various bodies should be able to do this stuff, with some practicehttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>.What is the "key sound"? I don't think it would be an absolute neccessity (hopefully). If not, I can probably just figure this stuff out myself. It's just a matter of breaking habits, and trying new techniques.

#499
Can anyone recommend any websites,or describe techniques to learn how to achieve orgasm without wasting energy in ejaculation? I find it to be a huge waste of energy. After engaging in any sexual activity I find that I am unable to have concious astral  projection,or achieve projection from lucid dream.Auric vision is also weaker ,I think. Also, I just don't feel as good as when I have all that energy running through me.When I do happen to achieve a lucid dream,my energy is so low that I have basically no clarity or control, and certainly not enough energy to leave the dream behind. Please keep in mind that I use a library computer (no graphic pictures please!http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_blush.gif" border=0>)Any help would be appreciated. Is it true that cagal(?) exercises can help men in this way? If so, how does one "practise" this? Does any one else practise that "tibetan exercise #6" described in a thread about 2 months ago? I do that once in awhile, but perhaps not enough,as I haven't noticed much difference in chacra energy levels.

#500
isn't anyone going to post any Austin Powers jokes?
