Well I have heard that pirates got their ears pierced to improve their vision. My ear is pierced and my vision still sucks. haha I do not think that piercings have the same effect as the pins used in acupuncture/pressure but I have not studied it much so I am not sure about the actual mechanics of it. I really do not see how tattoos would effect your energy body either, nothing profound anyway. The skin gets a lot more damage throughout our lives than what tattos will do.

I plan to have some tattoo work done someday. Been thinking about doing something with tattoos of chakras on my spine and maybe even getting the "snakes" of kundalini winding up my spine.

I would not worry about negative effects. Positive effects on the other hand I am not really sure of. If a tattoo or piercing draws your focus to a certain area a lot then it would draw energy there as well.

You could just learn your limit and not drink past that. After all you don't want to any beautiful women taking advantage of you while you are incapacitated. You want to be sure you are fully aware when that happens. []

You are right. There are no links on the forums to the home page. I just looked. No wonder so many people are lost when it is suggested they look at the home page.

A long while back I would hang out in the chatroom each evening for a few weeks just waiting to see if anyone would actually show up. No one ever did. It is a hopeless cause. Maybe if you scheduled something people would show up.

I don't know but I do know exactly what you are talking about. I "look" here for wisdom and intuition. I always assumed it was part of the third eye.

Maybe you are trying too hard, causing yourself to get too stressed about it. Try to relax. What will be will be.

Might I add that most insurance companies that I know of consider pregnancy a pre-existing condition. In other words if you are already pregnant when you join them they won't pay for it. If you hubby is laid off now may not be a good time to actually try to get pregnant. Babies can be expensive.

Well I can understand where Sentential is coming from. There may have been a time when I would have thought that the "rush" such things give you makes you feel alive. Once you get a glimpse of inner peace you finally see what being alive really is.

Body energy is very real and this can easily be proven by looking at the Chinese who have known about it for thousands of years. This is the basis of their acupuncture and acupressure techniques. And are we not even taught in school that our nervous system runs on electrical impulses, which is energy? The West just has yet to explore body energy to the degree of the Eastern societies. But a little skepticism is healthy as long as you keep an open mind before you make any decisions. There is no reason why a healthy person would feel pins and needles by just thinking about a part of their body. That has to do with restricted blood flow.

This is completely natural. You could always do this, you were just never aware of it before. You are feeling energy. Energy follows thought. Your hands and feet are "energy exchange ports" and so usually felt there easiest for someone new to energy work.

Funny, I feel most alive when I am at peace and loving and feel all icky when I am hateful. To each their own I guess.

Peace comes from within. When you are at peace within it does not matter what happens without for it cannot touch your inner peace unless you let it.

When doing energy work you should give little attention to those chakras you feel are over developed and give most of your attention to those you think are under developed. When you are finished do some grounding with all of your chakras, especially the over active ones. When you feel you are balanced, be sure to give all your chakras equal attention.

Do realize that sexual energy can be a bit more volatile when working with it, but other than that there is really nothing any different than what would happen doing energy work without sex.

I do not think there is anything odd about the dream, but I am not sure what you mean by a realtime orgasm. Orgasms during dreams are not that odd especially after practicing sexual energy work.

I don't know that it has to feel like a snake. What I experienced was this hot feeling filling me up inside. It felt like something physically inside me filling me up, pushing and snaking or winding its way up. It did not really feel like a snake but its movements were snake like or winding. This might have been because I was not ready though. I thought when it would happen it would feel like something only on the spine area, but as this went up it seemed to fill me up as it went. If any of this makes sense. It is hard to describe really.

I have seen this book at the bookstore but I just thought it was a children's fictional book. Is it in reality about Taoism?

Do you do any grounding exercises to ground your energy? To me it sounds like overactivity to those chakras. Try concentrating on your other chakras for awhile and be sure to ground yourself after each practice session. The goal is to be balanced and not have any chakras more developed than others.

This does not sound like Kundalini to me. I have experienced what I believe to be a partial rising of it, but it did not go all the way to my head but stopped around the heart chakra. If it cannot rise above a certain chakra it means that that chakra needs to be further developed. I believe what I experienced was Kundalini because it did feel like what has been described about it, so when it happens you will know as it is completely different than anything else you have experienced. I was not trying to rise it at the time so it freaked me out. I did not even think about it being Kundalini at the time. What it feels like is something really hot physically snaking and pushing its way up inside of you. It is pretty wild. The important thing is to remain calm if it should start to happen. Just give into it and let it happen. And enjoy the experience.

The second Chakra deals with sex. I believe its color is orange but I have never seen it. I do not know about its rotation. I never really pay attention to rotation.
