Quote from: oivxxThe only thing I know for sure is that I don't know much.

Very wise statement, in my opinion.  Just look at my sig!

My personal opinion of your occupation would depend on your daily activities.  If you go out of your way to swindle and otherwise make people's situations worse than they were before they walked into the casino, then my opinion of that occupation would not be high.

If you merely provide the games, then what people get out of those games are up to them.  If they expect to win against the odds, then most will be disappointed.  They should know that the odds are stacked against them in any such game, because if the odds weren't the casino would be out of business.  People can have a good time at a casino through the games, no doubt about it.  Some people like the thrill of the risk, and I feel it is fine that you provide a means through which they can experience what they seek.

Hi I'm new here.  I learned of this (apparently popular) place through the Astral Dynamics forums.  I imagine there are some other crossover members like me here.

Anyhow, about me.  I've been into energy work, meditation, and AP attempts  around 4 months now.  RB's AD book really changed my life, for whatever reason.  I'm not one of those people who has had spontaneous OBEs all their life, or special 'gifts' in childhood.  I'm just a regular person from the mainstream society starting to question things and progress.

I intend to participate here more often now that I've introduced myself properly.  I'm sort of confused how this site is related to RB's site, because his site used to be at this address.  I hear some references in the AD forums to the 'old forums' which I assume were here.  So, if anyone can explain this part to me, it would be greatly appreciated.
