Sounds like you could have been remote viewing. Very interesting description.

I don't have much experience with it, but I did try a target once. It was very cool because I got somewhat close to the target. When I focused on the coordinates and calmed my mind, I tried to "feel" what I would have felt at that place. I heard wind, I felt long grass, and I also knew there was water. I stopped after that because I am a curious person, and it was a picture of an oasis in the Sahara. There was a small creek with an elephant playing in it, and there was long grass like you would find on a plain on the bank. I'm sure now that if I had kept going, I would have gotten a more accurate reading of the target.

No, I create and sell Handmade Dragon Sculpture named Elemental Dragons.

Being a Seer is only something my close friends and some family members know about!
:-)

That's interesting, I have a ring in the shape of a dragon that my father found at a renaissance fair.
I wear it almost everywhere :

I'm still fairly new to all this stuff, but I've been visualizing Jimmy getting better and driving that Cadillac. Please do keep us updated on his condition.

You mean they thought this was normal otherwise? :-D

Well, they already think it's different to believe in out of body experiences...I know them well enough to know that the topic of astral sex would not be taken seriously  :-P

Update: Last Tuesday night as I practiced phasing before I went to sleep, I noticed what felt like hands touching my body in different places. I thought/asked if the beings touching me were there to fix me, because I felt a concentration of touches near the spot I mentioned in my previous post. I then felt a sort of confirmation, not verbal at all, and I just thought 'Ok, that's great'. I lost consciousness at that point, like somebody used anesthesia on me. Next thing I know, it's morning. I haven't had any pain there since.

So whatever you guys/other beings did, it worked. Thanks everyone!

Gahaha....that made me laugh out loud. Now my roommates are wondering what I'm reading xD

That happened to me during my first OBE. I left my body 4 separate times, and each time I was able to go a bit farther away. The first time I got out, I tried to fly away from my bed towards my door, but I sank into the floor and everything went black. Then I ended up back in my body, but I just relaxed and waited until I got out again. This repeated until I "learned" how to fly and was able to go outside.

So I guess it's a fairly common thing.

I usually practice projection at night before I go to bed. But that's because I'm like you...I find it difficult to focus in the morning right after I've woken up. Although, I do find it is much easier to enter the vibrational stage in the morning, it's just that I can't keep my focus and I drift off to sleep again.

Here's one postulate.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

Therefore,
It can only be converted.

What happens to light travelling away from a sun on the edge of our universe?

Well, this brings up another topic of discussion-infinity.

Since, for all we know, the universe is infinite, light at the "edge" of the universe will just keep traveling outwards, because there really isn't an "edge" to the universe. Another theory is that the universe is sort of round, that is, when light gets to the edge of the universe, it keeps travelling forward, but because of some space-time continuum (or something), the light is actually bending around the universe. Even though this seems like we're putting a limit on a limitless universe, it's not because of that same space-time thingy that I really don't understand.

I recently started reading a very interesting book called Infinity and the Mind by Rudy Rucker-it really describes the current theories of infinity and what impact they have on science today. It's pretty technical, so it's hard to understand (one of those books you have to read the lines over several times to comprehend), but overall a cool book.

Well, it turns out that modern physics is based upon a bunch of "assumptions" (just like math). One of these assumptions is that light has properties of both a particle and a wave. For certain situations, light is best described as a particle, and others a wave. But the interesting thing is that we don't truly know what light is, we only know its properties.

So when the light is turned off, I visualize the light as photons or waves streaming out into the universe until they hit something and give it energy.

Also, I don't think there is any quantifiable "darkness"...just the absence of light.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Roomates.

So. I am currently a college student, and I have 3 roommates. We've set up our two rooms with one being the "party" room where homework is done and games are played, and the sleeping room where all the beds are. This works out very well when one of us is tired, because the walls are pretty sound proof.

However, every time I practice phasing, somebody comes in the room and makes noise and it distracts me. I tell myself that any sounds will only put me deeper into relaxation, but it is still annoying.

Does anybody else have this problem, and do you have any solutions for it?

Happy Single's Awareness Day! xD

I see. I figured it would be something like that :D

And that's just fine by me, I've still got several years before I'll have a degree, and hopefully by then I will be more proficient in AP.

Actually it's funny you said this...because that's the first thing I thought of when I saw NPR a few months ago!

Hello once again,

I was curious if any of you guys out there have been in the NPR and asked for a solution to a specific real problem. I have a feeling that this could be very useful, but I don't know if anybody's tried it. Personally, it would be really great to discover how to make nuclear fusion a power source. :|

Thanks,

Well, I wanted to make the image appear here, but it won't work, so here's the link to its home in Deviantart.

I also enjoy making pottery (especially throwing pots on the wheel) but I don't have any of my pieces with me at the moment.

Yay! Glad I could help.

Hey everyone,

I figured I would post here for a healing/energy request for a small chronic health problem I've been dealing with. I've got a lump in my abdomen that causes me pain daily, and it's an annoyance. I went to the doctor, and he just said my rib popped out of the cartilage of my breastbone, and that it would be fine/it's not a problem/it will get better, etc. Got an Xray too. It's been 3 months, and it still hasn't healed.

I would greatly appreciate any healing/energy sent, if you do that sort of thing.

Thanks,
Fwewyu

I don't know, but I do know that I got a .gif from DeviantArt.com to work just an hour ago. I didn't save the .gif, just copied the main page link with the .gif on it. As you can see, it works!

It's interesting...I read this post, and thought to myself, "Hey, it would be cool to meet some beings like this myself". So the last week or so I have tried to phase/go to sleep with that thought...And now I've got something similar going on. A few days ago, I kind of opened myself up to anything like the things you described, and I was rewarded with a few touches for about 5 minutes. Then today, I tried to phase during my nap. I kind of lost consciousness after about 10 minutes, but when I snapped out of it, I saw the word "Friend?" in the blackness before my eyes. I thought "Yes, friend" and immediately I started feeling things. The beings touched my cheek, the back of my neck, and then it felt like they counted my ribs, first down my right side and then down my left. After that, they hovered over a  spot where I've got a quasi-injury, which I thought was very interesting. I fell asleep after that and got a very refreshing nap out of several hours.

So it seems that for me, they were thought- or intention-related.

Hey guys,

I've always been skeptical of Phiten necklaces and such, because they say that they "relax" you or "help with the flow of energy" etc. They state that their super-secret ingredient is titanium dioxide, which has no physical "energy" related results in humans. So, what do you guys think about them? Is it more of the fact that if you believe it works, it will?

Well, I've been in the same place, and I've tried a few things. I've tried feeling myself lift from my body, I've tried imagining myself at a distant point in the room, and I've also tried just being passive about it. I have found that for me, it is best to just be passive. I've gotten closest to phasing consciously by just "noticing" stuff in the blackness before my eyes. I have had the least success with "trying" to actively leave my body, because I tend to tense up and that throws me out of whatever state I'm in.

I would give this a read, it's pretty helpful. It's where the noticing technique comes from: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39504726/Phasing_Primer.pdf

Thanks!

And yes, I just thought and I could glide around or fly. It was so cool!!

Every time I think about it, I can't help but smile.

Sigh. It makes me sad when people who profess to be Christians say extremely stupid things and post them on Youtube, Facebook, etc. It gives Christianity a bad name, and certainly not all Christians are like that.
