This was an astral projection from about 2 yrs ago.

During the projection, I told myself  "I need to experience an ascension of conciousness!". I then came to a place that was made of nothing but light.I only saw it for a few seconds because someone in the house coughed. My concentration broke, & I was pulled back  .

I've been trying to get back lately, but haven't been able to do it so far.

Anyone know what this place could be?

I don't remember very much. This dream was much less 'shifty' than normal dreams.I was inhabiting the body of a 'local' on the planet. They looked basically human to me, though I don't remember exactly what they looked like.

The most interesting part that I remember was the device used for space travel, & travel in the sky on the planet itself:

It was an 'ion drive' thruster that was small enough to hold in my hand. When not in use, it folded in a complex way, into a rod shaped device that fanned out like a small trumpet or something at each end.The ends had these blueish white lights on them.

I asked them how  these devices worked, & they showed me in metaphoric images how the ion thruster folded out into a certain configuration, & how some of these parts combined w/other parts on it.

These devices were fairly common on this planet apparently.

Near the end of the 'deam' , I told them that I was an astral traveller from another planet. They were stunned. They asked what I thought of their planet.I looked around. To my right was a huge body of water. There were huge waves crashing against a rocky shoreline, & I could see islands in the distance. It was so beautiful that I started to get tears in my eyes.

I was about to tell them how beautiful it was, when it faded away, & I woke up.

wierd, eh?

One of my favourites is a recent one, which I completely forgot about until I thought about the subject.

It was a spontaneous projection-I projected into the sky in the RTZ, & flew around the clouds for a few minutes. It was just incredibly real & vivid.

I want to do it again, but I seem to be having trouble conciously projecting into the RTZ-I ALWAYS end up in the astral, when I can project at all.I've been having a lot of trouble gaining deep relaxation. .

Another one of my favourite RTZ concious projections was from about 5-7 yrs ago.I shot myself out of my body at an incredible speed, flew straight up into the sky, through the clouds, & into space.I gained even more speed, until I was moving incredibly fast through the darkness of space, flying towards the interior of our galaxy. But I was afraid of going too far for some reason, & was pulled back.It sort of gave me an idea of just how VAST space really is.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / pearl on my head

I have one picture that my mom took when she came to visit last fall.

She took a couple of pictures in the basement of me & my uncle (to her it would be her son & her brother). One picture has an aura around my head.

It looks sort of like a water droplet, but it was taken inside, & the other pic doesn't have anything like that on it.

I'd post the pic, but I don't have access to a scanner.

The funny thing is that I was thinking about experimenting w/psychic photography, & then I see that picture, taken from before I even thought of delving into the subject.

Wierd.

I used to get what the origional poster mentioned ALL THE TIME.

It rarely happens now, & I still experiment. It hasn't stopped me.

Nothing will stop me.

Hi Jason, I'm also Jason.

I know someone who considers OBE to be against the will of god. He's a nice enough guy normally, but seems to have some christian fundamentalist beliefs. He was interested in OBE for awhile, but then found that his religous beliefs were opposed to it.

That said, there is nothing inherently evil about it, & if it was truly against the will of god, we wouldn't have achieved it in the first place, because to say that something we do is against the will of god, implies that we have overcome the will of god, & are essentially more powerful than god (which we aren't, or are we? )

MOST interesting!

Electrical blue in the aura is a signal of telepathic communication, as far as I know. It appears to me that perhaps this master (of the dream of yours) did want to communicate his state of mind telepathically to whomever...

Just what popped in my mind...

I never thought of that

I wonder what I should do now?

Fascinating.

Maybe we are on to something ...

Fascinating.I know exactly what you're talking about

I actually had a lucid dream last night: I asked if there was anyone that's isn't just a part of the dream, that has an awareness of their own. There wasn't All the figures were projections of my subconcious, nothing more.

And yet, other times, I've gotten a positive response. Sometimes it's a yes, sometimes no.I wonder why?

The ones that give a positive response are much more interesting to talk to, and really do have a "feel" that's very different.to me, they feel more "alive" somehow.

Thanks for the tips. :) I addressed my question to anyone who can answer or give advice.

And, to comment on the above post, I tend to think that we're all empathic, more or less, & most people just don't know it yet, so they can't use it w/full knowledge & effectiveness.

Welcome to Dreams! / Talking to dream figures

What I've found, is that if nobody in the dream believes you when you say they're dreaming, you just need to do something you can only do in a dream, like put your hand through a wall, or levitate into the air.

I was in a crowd of people once in a lucid dream.I told them that we were all dreaming. They didn't believe me, until I took the hat off my head & put my hand right through it.They all looked something like this

I've also found that the more you do that, the more you can have lucid dream conversations & meaningful exchanges w/ dream characters. It's often led me to a realization that some dream characters are "drones" (thoughtforms w/little real awareness), & others seem tohave a conciousness of their own.I can usually tell the difference now in a LD.Sometimes I think that they could be "real" beings, while opther times I think they must be parts of myself.I'm not sure.  :?

I've always been highly empathic,although I haven't much control.I haven't tried scanning yet.How would I do this?

I can't socialize for a long time like some people, because I find it incredibly exhausting to deal w/ all the information that I recieve.Kind of like trying to pay attention to 5 conversations at the same time.Sometimes it drives me crazy to just be in the room w/an especially negative minded person.

I've always been "sensitive", but I never realized the depth of it until very recently, & as a child & teenager, I assumed it was normal to recieve other peoples feelings & mindset, & sometimes very personal details.

I have no control at all over this though, & it's very confusing. :(

BTW-What wizzle3 esxperiances has happened to me just recently, although I forgot about it.I was looking at someone from behind them, I felt like I was sending a signal in a "line" of some kind, then they looked back at me. :?

Welcome to Metaphysics! / tenth planet

I think the scientists/astronomers have named the tenth planet "Sedna".

It's got this wacko,6000 year elliptical orbit, I think. :?

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Automatic Drawing
September 12, 2005, 19:26:34
I've been into automatism  (automatic drawingpainting ) for a number of years now.I've just finished an acrylic abstract automatic painting, & am working on a second one, which is turtning out very different from the first one.I'd say that my art is approximately 80% automatic, & 20%...I don't know how to describe this...I see "flashes" of what the design should be on the canvas or paper.I then just manifest the design as closely as I can, to what I saw. It's actually a type of "painting/drawing meditation".

I've also got another idea for an automatist approach: I create/channel the drawing on a small piece of paper, then I can take that design, & turn it into a larger painting, as faithful to the origional drawing as I can.

I've tried to find other artists who do stuff resembling mine, but I can't find any  .Not on the internet, or in the library.I would guess this to be a good thing. The closest I can think of, is maybe a more abstract form of some of Alfred Pellan's works (from Quebec, associated w/the "automatistes" movement). It really doesn't resemble anyone I can think of.My drawings/paintings seem to have a kind of underlying geometric architecture, but still very, very free flow form.

I'd like to get my art published, & in galleries, but I'm in the early stages of this.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Any Sufis around here?
September 10, 2005, 19:12:00
I'm not a sufi or anything, but awhile ago, right out of nowhere, I had a dream about it.

I saw a picture of a sufi master in a meditation position. He held a certain posture w/his hands. Then blue electrical energy crackled all over him, & he was then in a state of something like nirvana or bliss.

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / M Theory

Personally I believe the dimensions spoken in metaphysics are dependent upon the intrinsic vibratory rate of the matter.

Milo Wolff describes a basic intrinsic vibration of matter, a Space Resonance, that reacts to similar frequencies.  IMHO, other planes are at different Space Resonance's.  If the matter is at a different octave, then it will not react with our universe.  Simply stated, I believe that is what is described as metaphysical dimension.

Paul

I watched The Elegant Universe yesterday, and I actually thought of this possibility as well.I thought that it's possible that metaphysical dimensions resonate at a higher harmonic or octave, like "faster" universes.

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / out there
August 14, 2005, 18:34:57
The odds of there NOT being other intelligent life in our universe would be staggeringly low, when you consider that each galaxy has 50 to 100 billion stars in it, and there are about 100 billion galaxies in the known universe.

Even now, we're constantly finding planets around other star systems.
#70
Fascinating stuff.I would like to learn how to do that, but I haven't a clue how.
#71
I see your point there. :)

reminds me of a quote:

He that think himself most wise, is generally the greatest fool"-Colton.
#72
That reminds me of times when I've had an idea for a piece of music (theme, etc), but didn't know what to do w/it.

I'd think it over, then go to sleep.Sometime, early in the morning, I'd suddenly become aware, in a sort of non-dreaming lucidity. Then I start hearing the theme I was considering, followed by the whole rest of the piece, beginning to end, arrangement, development & everything  .

That's happened so many times, & it's also happened just w/regular problems.I would wake up, & know the answer, or I'd have a certain dream that would show me the way.

And yet many people dismiss dreams as "brain farts" They must be sleepwalking through life, barely even aware.

What? I think this forum is great because so many of us actually do tolerate it from each other.

Interesting-

That could be a large part of things right there-not putting ourself so far above others, that we instantly judge everyone else according to our own belief systems.

This is a very important element in things, although there's still a much lower degree of absolute stupidity here.
#74
This is seriously the only forum I can find, that isn't full of a**h***s just looking for something to complain about.

And then,as soon as I try to point out all the complaining, bitching, & negativity that goes on, on these other forums, guess what they do?

They complain & whine & insult   :x

I notice that anytime anyone tries that crap here, they get a big kick in the a** pretty damn fast. I thank you all for not tolerating arrogance & stupidity on this forum.

Anyway sounds like you've found what could be the first stage of a replicater unit, which would be good going! If you go check again, maybe you could look at the technology that enables the coordinated manifestation of potential? Do let me know if you do!!! Yeah I guess the complexity might be a problem. Anyway, good work  :D

Rob

ps only tech references to this sort of this I've read about would require perfect hologramatic forms which create the energetic "mould", which is then" filled" using sudden square wave high voltage pulses, ie intensely fast fluxing EM field. Sharped the square the better. But the bloke who suggested wasnt holding much hope, due to how stable the hologram would have to be. Interesting stuff tho.

I never thought that it could be used for a replicator, but it does sound that way doesn't it? I'm definately going to look into this furthur.I'll keep you posted.I just need to see that book again, and maybe some others on the subject ( not really a "book" anyways, my brain just interprets it that way).It is hard to remember complex images, but maybe w/practice, it'll get easier.
