IMO I think that "Downloading" to the mind is simply the memories from the astral experience entering the physical mind. If you didn't "Download" back to the mind then you wouldn't remember any of the experience. So why can't this be applied to a skill you learn in the astral??? Providing you remember all of the journey then  you could apply the skill to physical world.... I think

Only my opinion, what does everyone think of that suggestion?

Obviously experience is the greatest teacher, but what use is the experience if you can't remember it???

How can you learn from something you can't recall? It just wouldn't make any sense.

Perhaps the mind can't understand it but it would remember.

Perhaps you go there to learn some sort of lesson... then you reincarnate back to a physical form to learn from your mistakes (however you can't remember them because they are embedded deep in the suconscious) and then progress on the path.

Again a stretched Idea but a possibility.

Is the Base/Root Chakra at the base of the spine??? I've got a diagram and it says sacral chakra is between the genitals and anus. Would this not make the Sacral Chakra the first chakra and not the Root?

Sorry if i'm confusing people here it was just a question that was bugging me.

Yer I can't remember what he plane what called. I'm fairly sure I read it in that eBook though. I was always under the impression that spirits resided in the Astral until they reincarnated.. Obviously not though. Reincarnation is something I need to learn more about. The thing is though how can we be sure that what we are being told is true unless we experience it (and remember it). So we only get one shot at it really.

12th or 13th chakra 

In the chakra system I thought there was 7 major chakras and about 300 minor ones???

I'm sure I've read that the halo symbolises an open crown chakra. And that is why royalty wear crowns on there head, to symbolise an open crown chakra.... (correct me if i'm wrong)

.... Then again I could have just made it up hehe

Kundalini awakening is something that interests me lots, I need to get a book on it so I know more about it.

I was just wondering whether Auras were luminous or not that's all.

...Maybe a highly "Enlightened" person might have a glow thats actually visible to people who can't see auras because of the strength of it?

Also is the Halo that appears on most angelic paintings and such supposed to represent the aura around the head?

I think 2pac wouldn't be in the astral realm (correct me if im wrong please) they only reside there for a few weeks while there etheric matter runs out and then they go to a higher plane to reunite with loved ones?

Robert Bruce says it's something like that I can't really remember.

I haven't had one in ages now  I have really vivid dreams though I can usually remember a lot of detail and thats good enough for me, at least I can see how crazy my subconscious really is

Positive thoughts are the way to go. I try to think positive and when I do, good stuff happens.

Yeh man Tolle has some great teachings, I love his metaphors haha . I've got The Power of Now and Practising the Power of Now. I have to say though out of all the teachers I've heard Adyashanti is my favourite. How about you?

i never tried to astral project (but have been thinking about it) it just happens sometimes to me for some reason, but i am trying to find a reason why im supposed to experience it. if there is a reason..

Maybe your subconscious wants you to go, there must be some deep reason of some sort... Deceased relative perhaps? To prove life after death? To talk to your Spirit Guide? etc...

If they happen spontaniously then I would just go with it. You will gain knowledge and overall have a great experience with the added confirmation that death is only a step up the ladder. The reasons are different for everyone but come on... who doesn't wanna fly around the world

Last night I was lying in bed with my night light on and I held my arms up and made the tips of my fingers tough the corresponding tips on the other hand. And I was pulling them away slowly, the aura was incredible. It was so strong, seemed almost solid it was so strong.

Also this question came to mind. If the aura is coming form a person then would that mean that it wouldn't need a light source to glow?? e.g. Being able to see them in the dark?

Actually, it is possible for this to happen if somebody does not have any results for ages. Eventially the doubt and scepticism do start to creep in, especially when the individual is constantly bombarded with sceptical reports and the general cynicism of modern society. It is amazing how quickly the human mind forgets things. That is why it is important to keep practicing all the time.

Yeh it makes sense now, at the time of the AP though i'm sure it would have been a certainty that it was real.
However after some time with no results you would start doubting yourself and perhaps even start to think you made it up in your mind. Good Point Gandalf

and in responce to forsaken... why did you first try to astral project then? You must have had some motivation. For starters you had to seek this forum out to find it, so something must have intrigued you.

Its obviously an interesting subject... but do you not think it's in the wrong section?
