I started this topic soon after I got my Qlink. I've had mine about a week, but haven't been able to wear it constantly because I keep getting a pain in my chest if I wear it too long.

It says in the FAQs that you may feel 'discomfort' when using it to start off with, so I've been gradually building up the amount of time I use it.

This proves to me that it DOES do something, and isn't just a bit of tacky plastic and copper wire. I've yet to see any benefit though. Having said that, I did have a job interview and have been asked back for the next stage - I suspect it's just a coincidence though.

But why the pain in the chest? Is it distorting my heart chakra or something?

One theory I found on the internet while seeing what people's opinions were, is that it is a device for alien control - they are building up an army of humans who all operate on the same biofrequencies due to their Qlink, and hence can be controlled externally [:O]

It's got a 90 day money back, and if I don't notice anything substantial by, say, 70 days I'll send it back. It's worth a try though...!

OK - the BBC Horizon program that was meant to be on last month is on tonight at 9:00 on BBC2 - God on the Brain. Let's hope it's a balanced program!

Bastard BBC cancelled tonight's God on the Brain program for war coverage. I've emailed them asking when it will be shown and I'll let you know if I get a reply.

On a related note - something to look out for -

Just to let you know there in a Horizon program on BBC2 on 20th March at 9.00 called God on the Brain.

It's about this bloke who says he can induce spiritual experiences by applying magnetic fields to someone's brain. Transcdendence at the touch of a button! Should be worth a watch.

I think we should avoid the urge to believe her outright without knowing more details about the case.

However, the majority of people coming to this site will know what is possible in the dreamstate, so for us, we know it is not beyond the realms of possibility.

There is NO WAY she will be found innocent. She knows too many details, and for most people, the only way she could know this would be for her to have physically been there.

Have any of you got any furthur with this?

If so, what focus level do you reckon the ALS (Accelerated Learning State) is? The method to attain the ALS on the tapes is basically a spoken trance induction, so I was wondering if any of you thought there was any correlation between this and the Monroe focus levels.

Bump - just to say it's out today. The lucid dreaming section is pretty crap. It sounds like the author has never had an LD, but has heard of people who have, and therefore it 'might' be possible (says he). I mean, come on - if he's going to write about dreaming for an article in a magazine, I would have thought he would at least have had an LD at some point in his life!

However, I was impressed with the crystal section. The 'free' Amethyst crystal on the cover is quite cool as well. Also, the chakras poster is now up on my wall.

Auraseer - Because the distance you levitate is so small, we cannot see it directly on video. Therefore get someone else to slide a piece of paper underneath your feet when you are 'up'. If you are indeed levitating, the sheet of paper will move smoothly and freely even if you are only up a couple of millimetres.

Mayhem - yes! I get exactly the same thing. I keep thinking that I can see depth whilst my eyes are closed, but I then realise that this depth is exactly the same shape as my room.

Could it be some kind of afterimage? Or perhaps vision through the 3rd eye? I doubt the 3rd eye for me, as I haven't got very far with NEW and am still doing work on the secondary chakras. Or could it be that our eyes are just ever so slightly open, and this forms an image of depth combined with blackness?

Thoughts welcome!

I got the whole collection (i.e. waves 1 to 6) from Audiogalaxy before it was shut down

WARNING- some of the MP3s have seriously loud glitches. I was in a complete trance, and then about 10 milliseconds of full volume noise scared the life out of me. I'm not sure how they got there - perhaps it is a ploy my Monroe Institute to make you buy them?

So, screen the files yourself properly before listening to them. It's not a nice experience to get a shock like that!

As I mentioned in another thread - I have difficulty getting to sleep.

I have the Monroe Wave 1 CD, and part 5 is the exploration of sleep one. You are meant to play it and leave it on and it will make you fall asleep.

What are people's experience of this track in particular. It doesn't work for me - my body is asleep, but my mind is still wide awake.

It also seems that it is intended to induce an OBE - the way that Monroe says, 'think how happy it would make you feel to float upwards...' etc...

But I would personally want to use it to reduce my insomnia.

That reminds me - I have difficulty imagining bright white energy coming in through my nose, because all I can see is solid black! If I want to imagine it, I have to wait until I get those hypnagogic blobs of colour and imagine them coming in through my nose?

Surely there's a simpler way than that?! Any thoughts greatly appreciated...!
