OK here they all are

1) - Music.  I have major problems with this.  I probably have over 10,000 songs in my head...so even if I lose one from it, another takes its place....

2) Sleep.  I fall asleep.  Seriously, like as im doing the ROPE method, I just fall asleep.  This is probably because I'm not listening to music, but if I do then that holds be back...argh

3) Time.  It's always hectic in my house, so I can never seem to get any free time except at night, and that's when I fall asleep....Also, our family is constantly on vacations...How can i get free time here???  Any help provided would be great.

Hello, I have basically just started out and I was wondering if I was doing things right or if it's just too early to make energy balls.  After the breathing exercise I stand in my room with the TV off and focus on drawing energy to my hands.  I do this for 10 minutes and I get no tingling, warmth, etc.  Any tips?

Whoever told you a cable line could ever be faster than any T1 line was lying.  Big time.  That's like saying DSL is faster than an OC3 line.

This is a wonderful idea and I'll be sure to let Adrian know about this topic to consider this addition.

-.-; Be more clear next time.

The working title is "The Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker 2"

Many people have said this is it, others say this isn't it.  Only time will tell.

Battousai:

quote:
By Me in Zelda post:

At the E3 convention yesterday, Nintendo finally announced that a realistic Zelda game is to be released for the gamecube within a year's time (I guessed on the date).

This is what all Gamecube owners have been waiting for since the day Gamecube was first announced. This very game was demoed on the initial release of a gamecube, only to leave fans in awe that the new Zelda game was to be Cel-Shaded.

Well, it obviously isn't an N64 game because there were only two and it doesn't look anything like that.  It's obviously not Wind Waker as that was cel-shaded.  My post spoke of a new game coming out in the near future with a realistic look to it.  Infer from here as to the system it shall be for (Underline: Shall be means the game is not currently existant.  Hint: The system is currently existant and continues to produce new games on minidiscs).

Here's a fun universe equation.

Scientifically speaking, the universe is infinite.

Also scientifically speaking, there is a finite number of the amount of beings that can live on each habitable world in the universe.

Any infinite number / any finite number = a fraction so small, rounding must go straight to ZERO.  The average population of the universe is thusly zero.

Therefore, nobody exists.

PS - to above post.  2 is prime, 27 is not. [|)]

I LOVE YOU NINTENDO!

But that's over now.

Other announced games were Starfox 2, Metroid Prime 2, Pikmin 2, Resident Evil 4, and many others. Full article here.

I'd gladly make an "Acronyms" FAQ to list all the existing acronyms you'd see here often.

AP
OBE (OOBE)
DBZ
LD
RTZ
FAQ ([|)])

That's my 30-second list.  Add more here and I'll put it up when I can...or Nay will.  Whoever comes first.

I cannot nor will I ever be able to find any draw to play Halo at all.  It's a boring FPS with another knockoff idea for gameplay.  There's no reason it's any better than any other FPS on the market today.

Metroid Prime is the best one I've found, followed closely by Unreal Tournament 2004, Half-life, and finally Timesplitters 2.  Halo is last place.  Boo.

Half-Life 2 is still in programming... I still can't wait for this to be released (if ever [xx(]).  In the meantime I actually got around to playing Metroid Prime and found I actually did like it.  I'm about 50% done with that now.  Then I found Unreal Tournament 2004.  This is what an MMOFPS should be for all those Halo fans.  Massive array of playable characters, massive collection of weaponry, massive amount of maps and gameplay modes.  Real vehicles that are actually fun to drive around to opposing vehicles.  This is a true FPS.

No screens for you.  Find out more about UT2k4 for yourself.

I have had to fix a bunch of computers at my school thanks to this worm.  My home computer seems to have had the appropriate patch for quite a while now.

I heard that this worm works in almost the same way as the Blaster in that it gives you a timer telling you when your computer will shutdown.  This one is apparently only 30 seconds, or else all the rumors I've heard are false.

Here's a trick: The timer runs on your windows clock.  Set it back 1 hour and you'll have plenty of time to update your machine and prevent further damage.  Once you finish make sure you clear every trace of the worm after the patch with antivirus software and the like.

Intellectual games are the best way to prove to your parents that games can be fun and a learning experience.  But don't just limit yourself to them.

The games I'm talkin about are so unpopular these days.  Super Monkey Ball is a prime example.  It's one of the greatest party games out there, and one player mode puts such a tax on your brain that you wish you could throw it out the window.  I almost did.

Well, that's not all I play either.  Timesplitters 2 consumes my gaming life now with its impossibility.  And when I get angry at that I delve right into Metroid Prime.

And (to actually stick with the topic [|)]) video games in no way have a negative effect on kids who play them.  I grew up with a nintendo playing some shooting games and check me out now.  No, really, check me out.

In conclusion, I saved the world so many times that the nobel prize should be mine.  Game over.

Howdy BlueKanga.

I think most people on the forum here know I'm the same way.  I am an extreme stickler for proper grammar and spelling.  But, alas, there is nothing I can do, even as a moderator, to stop people from typing the way they do.  This is simply because people type the way people want to type (and since there's quite a few members here...correcting every post is extremely troublesome [;)]).

However, I and the rest of the moderators will fix topic titles if they are in poor quality, full caps, or the like.  This is all we can do to help spelling out.  Microsoft Word has a spellchecker; so if you need to be certain your post looks top notch, run it through that real quick.

Hypothetical situation.

a)  I hear a song on a radio.  I like the song and thus go out and purchase the CD for 15 dollars.  After listening to the CD, only the one song on it is good.  The rest were total crap.  I just paid 15 dollars for crap.

b)  I hear a song on a radio.  I like the song and thus download the entire CD for 99c a song.  I only like the one song though.  The CD has 18 tracks, so I spent about 18 dollars.  I wasted 17 dollars.

c)  I hear a song on a radio.  I like the song and thus download the entire CD for free.  The rest of the CD is crap, so I delete it.  No money was wasted, and the band is crap.

But in my case, I don't even download music anymore.  It's all about anime now.  I think it cannot be illegal because it's a japanese show with japanese words.  It was never shown in america, so how could it possibly be wrong?

Whatever.  I support good bands.  I bought all of Linkin Park's CDs.  I could have downloaded it, but I didn't want to take the hassle of burning it to listen to it in my car.  Now, since techno is dubbed crap in America and there's no place to buy it, I'm forced to download it.  Sucks for you, since techno is ownage.

Let's take a hypothetical situation here.

Now, for the past 50 years or so the world has been dealing with the theory by Alfred Wegener called "Plate Tectonics".  At its origin, most people thought it COULD happen, but since he had no proof as to HOW continents moved, it was never dubbed a "Theory".  Then some important stuff was found and yadda yadda yadda.  (By the way this is what I am learning in science right now...)

We should all know (or know by the end of this sentence) that True North and Magnetic North are about 21 degrees off.  This wasn't always the case.  In fact, the North Pole is thought to have once been right where North America is right now!  I have learned in my class that the plates of the earth are in constant motion (although not that much) and after a few million years, the poles begin to move as well.  That was probably the basis of the "Pole Shift" we've all heard so much about.  The Mayan Calendar's sudden end in the last month of 2012 is the closest "prophecy" to that date, so most people put those two together and formed this hypothesis.

Which is what it is.  A Hypothesis.  Billions are formed everyday by everybody.  Millions alone in the science world.  A very small margin of that becomes Theory, and an even smaller amount becomes fact.

What I'm getting at here, is that even though something may sound right to you, it sounds like crap to another person. Pangaea may sounds completely plausible to me with all the data Wegener supplied, but to someone else in my class, it may sound like the biggest joke in their life.

Everything you say is up for intepretation.  Maybe we all heard wrong about the future.  But then again, it's easier to predict the future than it is to know the past.

Kinda irrelevant....  If you notice this ------    ^ (Send user private message)

I knew it was a joke since all users should know how to use the private message feature on this website, especially one who's been here longer than a month as have you.  It's not a very well-based experiment as there aren't enough constants and too many variables.

a  =  b

a2 =  a * b

a2 + a2 = a2 + a * b

2a2 = a2 + a * b

2a2 - 2(a * b) = a2 + a * b - 2(a * b)

2a2 - 2(a * b) = a2 - a * b

Which can be written...

2(a2 - a * b) = 1(a2 - a * b)

Cancel the (a2 - a * b) from both sides...

1 = 2.

There's always a chance that there could be some bugs in the server for a short moment of time.  Adrian most likely knows about whatever happened and has taken care of it.

Meanwhile, I moved this topic into Forum Bugs Reports and Questions.  This is the place dedicated to questions about how the forums function incorrectly on your computer.

ANIME MUSIC! Admit it. Anime rules.

Naruto - Wind

Cultivate your hunger before you idealize.
Motivate your anger to make them all realize.
Climbing the mountain, never coming down.
Break into the contents, never falling down.

My knee is still shaking, like I was twelve,
Sneaking out of the classroom, by the back door.
A man railed at me twice though, but I didn't care.
Waiting is wasting for people like me.

Don't try to live so wise.
Don't cry 'cause you're so right.
Don't dry with fakes or fears,
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.

Don't try to live so wise.
Don't cry 'cause you're so right.
Don't dry with fakes or fears,
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.

You say, "Dreams are dreams.
"I ain't gonna play the fool anymore."
You say, "'Cause I still got my soul."

Take your time, baby, your blood needs slowing down.
Breach your soul to reach yourself before you gloom.
Reflection of fear makes shadows of nothing, shadows of nothing.

You still are blind, if you see a winding road,
'Cause there's always a straight way to the point you see.

'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.

Cowboy Bebop - Rain

I don't feel a thing,
and I stopped remembering.
The days are just like moments turned to hours.

Mother used to say,
"If you want, you'll find a way".
Bet mother never danced through fire shower.

Walk in the rain, in the rain, in the rain.
I walk in the rain, in the rain.
Is it right or is it wrong?
and is it here that I belong?

I don't hear a sound,
Silent faces in the ground.
The quiet screams, but I refuse to listen.

If there is a hell,
I'm sure this is how it smells.
Wish this were a dream, but no, it isn't

Walk in the rain, in the rain, in the rain.
I walk in the rain, in the rain.
Am I right or am I wrong?
and is it here that I belong?

Walk in the rain, in the rain, in the rain.
I walk in the rain, in the rain.
Why do I feel so alone?
For some reason I think of home...

That's it for now.  I really just wanted to revitalize my topic yet again.  Remember: No posting non-lyrics!

AH!  On the subject of personal robots...

PERSOCONS!

Nobody here has seen "Chobits"?  It's another anime (from Japan...duh) featuring some farmer dude who moves to Tokyo to cram for a test to get into Tokyo University.  Apparently this is the future and almost everybody has one of these devices.  Also, they cost more if not the same than these... EXPENSIVE!

1

2

1 is the star of the show.  I can't say anymore than that or I remove the entire plot.
2 are miniature models or travel models.

Note the ears.  That's where stuff plugs in... like A/V jacks or data transfer.

AAhhh off on a tangent again.  I'd not recommend watching Chobits if you're 16- years old.  It's not BAD it's just... 16-  .

Well, the game kinda tells you what's going to happen with the battles that take place, but the last fight is the one about to begin by episode 77.

It didn't matter anyway, I knew what was going to happen a few months ago when I read all the manga [|)]

Sorry that this is a little off-topic from the gaming itself, it's just that Naruto is such a great anime about NINJAS!  NINJAS I TELLS YA!

First of all: Gamecubes can't break down.  You shouldn't throw things like that. [;)]

Sorry battousai, I am not a final fantasy, but I did enjoy playing the games, if that's what you were trying to ask [8)].

My FF7 obsessed friend told me a few months ago that Advent Children will work on making the game story into a movie using top of the line 3-d animation for the big screen instead of a PS1.

I only knew Cloud through Kingdom Hearts, but from what I hear from the FF7 friend, he was the coolest game hero of all time.

By the way, another one of my friends imported the Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 game and allowed me to borrow it.  I beat it in a week.  It was a LOT of fun, just not challenging enough.  True to the story of Naruto, though! [|)]

Thanks for the heads-up kakkarot...

The subject of TK has its own place in General Metaphysics, which is where I've moved it.

Also, kenshinhan604, if you could sum up your thoughts into one post instead of 4, that would be awesome.  I fixed it for you.

And you don't have to quote everything you see, especially if it's on the same topic.
