Basicaly, I just let myself into dream state, let the hypnagogic images to appear, while being passive and maintaining some degree of awareness.

question regarding F12(deep F10)

Hi everyone! I have recently joined and I would like to ask a question about the difference between the act when you observe sg in front of your "mind's eye" and when you observe the actual blackness in front of your closed eyes.

I have read that when you are going deeper into F12, you should shift your focus(no longer focus on the blackness in front of your closed eyes) and start to go inward. If you manage to go deeper like this, you will soon experience light patterns, shapes in front of your mind's eye(not the blackness in front of your physicall eyes).

Can anyone tell me how can I shift my focus in this way and start to observe space in front of my mind's eye? Is it the space where mental/hipnagogic imaginery appears? When I am doing the exercise, I passively observe the blackness in front of my real eyes in light F10, and hipnagogic images start to appear. Should I shift my focus to the area where these images are or should I continue to observe the blackness in front of my phisical eyes?

Thank you for the explanation. So, I just have to observe something passively( blackness in front of me,...etc), while letting myself into sleep state more and more, without falling asleep completely. And in this way sooner or later, I will reach a state deep enough to project.

So I just have to continue observing passively the blackness in front of my eye, and my state will gradualy deepen by itself?Then, why does Monroe and other authors write that in order to get into condition C/D(focus 12), one needs to go down to a given level and return, going deeper and deeper each time and deepening the state in this way?

Question regarding deep Focus 10 and Focus 12.
Hi everyone. I have just registered. I would like some advice regarding deep Focus 10 and Focus 12.

I have been practicing the "Monroe" method for a few month. I have been using the method described in the "Journeys Out of the Body" by Monroe. I can reach and maintain Condition B quite well. In other words, I can hold my attention at the blackness in front of my eye, while feeling relaxed, and   in a shallow "bordering-sleep" state. During this, I usually experience sensations of "light" Focus 10, such as slight numbness of limbs, tingling. Sometimes, it is also difficult to locate the position of the limbs.

However, I can not go deeper, neither into deep focus 10 or into focus 12. I know this because neither of the sensations, which are described in the article as characterstic of deeper focus 10, are present while I am doing the exercise. Each of my sessions last 70-80 mins, so I don't think that I finish the exercise too early. I also practice in the morning immediately after waking up. I would like too reach a state when all the five senses are muted and I can not feel the position of my body. Monroe calls this state condition C/D, when vibrations, which are essential for leaving the p. body, can occur.

The problem is that neither Monroe nor anyone else tell how can one proceed from condition B(light focus 10) to conditionC/D(deep focus 10/12). In the Journeys Out of the Body Monroe says:" carefully leting go of rigid hold of the borderland sleep and drifting deeper little by little. You will learn this by going down to a given level and returning at will".

Can anyone explain how this is done or give me some advice how can I deepen the sleep state. In condition B, I am observing the blackness in front of my eye, while feeling a bit numb and experience a slight drifting of attention and the begining of a mini-dream(hipnagogic imagery) in every 3-4 min. These only last for 1-2sec , since my attention automaticly returns to the blackness in front of me. Can you tell me how can I deepen this state to focus 12?
