"No seriously please answer because I have a theorie. "
And whats the theorie?

I'm guessing that the theory regards the general state of the mind/body during an AP experience has all the haulmarks of a body in a sleep state ie when you are projecting, your body is actually sleeping - and so you do sleep. Sort of like how deep meditation can take the place of a good nights sleep.

Exactly. When you say you AP, lets say 30 hours per week. I would count that as sleep. Your body is technically at sleep. I mean I know that there are monks or other people that are able to maintain their consciousness while falling asleep. This is a part of dream yoga. Through a variety of exercises one can learn to maintain consciousness without break from falling asleep till waking up. So in way their consciousness never sleeps. But their body does. It seems to me that your are doing the exact same thing.

So if that's the case your claims become much more easy to believe.

QuoteShare what exactly?

The future you saw

Quote"How much time per week do you spend in the astral?"
Im not going to answer that because it will just lead to more people calling me a liar...

They allready call you aliar so what does it matter   No seriously please answer because I have a theorie.

QuotePeople are born with and live with there whole life insomnia
You think nature is being so stupid when it makes such people?

It is an illness, do you want to debate why there is sickness in the world?
#53
Quote""and your claims are somewhat "incredible". ""
No, No there not... Theres nothing incredible about it... It's just that everyone is so damn Ignorant and believe it's not possable simply because a bunch of scientists, doctors say it isnt...

No that is not the reason, the reason simply is that we get very tired when we don't sleep. Lot of people try to go without sleep and they can't do it.

people that sleep not enough suffer from certain health problems like increased blood pressure etc. I think that is pretty much prooven.

I'm not saying that it is impossbile but i say for the normal organism it is not possible. And you seem to argue agianst that with only your claim:

"I can do it so it's possbile" kind of argument. i mean if that is all you have to say then the discussion is over I guess......

QuoteIt doesnt matter what you try, if you dont believe you can do it you wont be able to...

You could change my believe.......

QuoteI look at the past and the future,

Do you care to share?

QuoteI walk around the astral universe,

How much time per week do you spend in the astral?

QuotePlay chess

me too, just I never found a partner to play  My friends all think it's boring. we could make a game sometime.

QuoteNo, I never get tired... Well, that is... I never FEEL tierd...
Up untill I turned 5 I sleept the same amount of time any normal child would sleep...

Then it suddenly changed? how did that happen? any clue why it changed?

QuoteYoull have to find me first...

I would only come if you invite me...........

Quote...Of corse I eat...

i don't find this question so silly either. there are people claiming that they don't need food and only live from light. I don't find this reports any more strange then somebody not needing sleep. i mean it is evident that a normal organism needs sleep, if it wouldn't we wouldn't sleep.i don't think nature is so stupid and lets organism sleep if it's not needed. But i see the possibility that the mind can master matter so to speak and make the Body independent from food as well as sleep.

QuoteWhy not... Because humans are stronger than animals...

Stronger in what way?

Quote"Poor friend!"
How is he poor?

he's tring to emulate you. i imagine it to be pretty though tring to be like a super human   seems likely the best he can be is a poor imitation.

Quote"I can't believe that, sorry!"
Why the hell did you ask then?

I was asking cause i thought you might have some tangible exercise or so I could try.

Quote"sleep deprivation is a well know instrument of torture, that is not based on believe but on effect. "
Oh... I see...Thanks, I allways wonderd why my life was so great... because im being tortured...

You missed my point : You are not a normal human, maybe you don't need sleep but a normal human needs sleep.

Hell, what are you doing with all your freetime anyway? Do you never get tired? How much did you sleep as a child?

If I ever go to new zealand i come and visit you! You can break my leg and then fix it

Tom

BTW: do you eat

Quote"Dare you compare humans to animals?"

Why not compare them?

QuoteBut I dont expect them to go around calling me a liar either...

agreed

QuoteIt is easy for anyone to go a week without sleep...
People can easaly go as long as 9 days... but 10 and 11 is what gets most people... now, 1 hour may be a little short for someone who cannot heal themself...

11 days is like the world record......... I wonder why you think sleep is only needed to heal?

Funny thing, when I had insomnia i wasn't sick once in a whole year! Not even the slightest cold. I think sleep is more needed for your mental well being. your reaction time will go down you will start bumping into things, you will become emotionally weak, get depressed, unable to concentrate, you will start to fantasize, etc..... eventually you will lose your mind. I'm not saying this because i read it somewhere, I experienced it. Maybe true that you don't need sleep but are you sure it is a good idea to assign this to other people?

QuoteA friend of mine... who trys to be just like me goes 5 days and only needs 4 hours sleep before he can go anouther 5... and he is just your normal everyday person...

Poor friend!

QuoteBut you have to believe you can...

I can't believe that, sorry!

Quote"""Saying "hey I can live without sleep" "can heal the sick" can AP at will" I mean wow what an honor to talk to Mr. Jesus himself! """

Im sure there are plenty of real people who have/claim to have the same abilitys I do...

Not that i know of.......

QuotePeople just can't help but believe what they hear...
Just because everyone says sleep is important and that no sleep kills... doesnt mean it's true...

sleep deprivation is a well know instrument of torture, that is not based on believe but on effect.

You are really a funny guy astralborn!

let me first say that i always try to keep on open mind and therefore I see the possibility that you are a honest person. But.......

Are you teasing us?

I mean from the posts a read so far you seem to be fairly intelligent so what do you expect?

Saying "hey I can live without sleep" "can heal the sick" can AP at will" I mean wow what an honor to talk to Mr. Jesus himself!
So what do you expect? Do you expect us to say: "Oh yeah sure, I believe you.." If we would be like that we would get nowhere because unfortunately it happens quite often that people lie and claim to have super powers they don't. So what can we do? Maybe in a perfect world we would be competly neutral and open minded  just believe you and comment on your dream. But we are just humans so we won't do that...
We will doubt what you say, ask for proof and maybe even attack you.
In the end we can only believe our own experiences.
And you are right indeed the truth doesn't change. everything is truth and it's all there is.

I know what you will say "focus on my dream please" ok, but why do you have to make these claims at all when you just want a normal live?!

It is a matter of fact that your claim " I need no sleep" just happens to be more interesting then your cat-dream. So by putting that claim there it was apparent that people will not focus and you dream. you seem smart enough to knew that a priori, so why did you do that?!

And if it's true (I never said you lie!) then I think you should heal the sick!
I know a couple of them that would be happy if you could heal them and yes it would be worth the effort to learn remote healing. But I think you should act not just talk. I seriously think you need a wise person that helps you handle you gifts ( Remark:I don't consider myself to be wise)

One other question: Do you believe it would be possible for me to learn to need so little sleep? I would like to learn that! Seriously! So any idea how I could achieve that. As a matter of fact i had bad insomnia and sleep is always an issue for me therefore I ask.

Regards Tom

The following experience felt like i would imagine a NDE

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19317&highlight=

The report can't not really describe how it felt though. After that I seriously think it could be possible to actually die while out of body. I mean I was separated from my body I can tell you that!  Wasn't able to rerproduce that experience though.

At least I feared to die!

Nice pic clover! I'm completly on your and Gandalfs side here.

Although, I must say I found it not to unlikely that sooner or later a A-Bomb is going to fall in that area. There is so much hate around on all sides.
#61
I mean you are certainly not the first person that claims this and I for one think it may be likely that you are right, but really how can we realize that? I wonder if you have truely realized what you say? Cause if you do, then you must be completly free and happy I suppose (this is not meant ironically). So would you say you are completly in peace and happyness all the time?

I think there are so many believe systems holding us down that it is virtually impossible to overcome them. The only thing I could think of would be meditation. Completly still the mind the breakthruogh the illusion.

So what concretely would you counsel?

Warm regards Tom

Hello qbeac

I heard about several meetings but usually I read about such things in the dream forums. It is usually called shared dreaming.

For example you can find some reports here:

http://forum.ld4all.com/viewforum.php?f=6

for example:

http://forum.ld4all.com/viewtopic.php?t=10238

or

http://ld4all.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3340

There were also once two members there, called R3TRO and Freecube that claimed they could meet frequently in their dreams and exchange infos. Can't find that post right now though.

I personally think it is possible, but do not have any personal proof for it.

regards, Tom

:multiblob:  It's the only game in town.  When we realize we are making it all up, then we can start having fun with it.

lol! And how can we truely realize it?

Quote from: LighthouseDoug,

I have recently come to the realization that I am indeed the creator of my experience.  I have taught this for a while, but never embodied it.  This past week, I had a realization that indeed this is true.

The realization was that in essence, we are Love, and One Unified body.  We (for lack of a better word)  have chosen to create an illusion where we are divinded into mulitple facets (which we call things... anything you can touch, feel, see, sense) All of these things are based on our collective and seeming individual consciousness.  The only thing that is real is our Unity, everything else is based on perception which is an illusion.

It got me thinking that since I create my reality, there are many different reality's I may wish to create.  The mind is what creates and is our tool for creation.  Since at any given moment, I may choose one thought over another, there are many different "tracks" I may choose to take.  For example, lets say you are playing a video game, there are many different things you may do with your character.  The character is the same, but the experiences the character may have can be different.

My mind (your mind, our mind which is our One consciousness) is playing the game and we as characters in the game act according to the direction our mind chooses for us to act.  We can choose different thoughts and therefore, choose different experiences.

I can choose throught my thoughts to live a life of destitution and depression if I want, or I can choose to live a life of richness, love and Joy if I want, the choice is up to me.  I am the character in my experience and my mind is the joystick.

Given this model, there can be infinite levels of creation we may choose to experience.  We may also at any time, choose to experience a different level of experience than we have been playing and may play our character differently than we have in the past.  If we have chosen to live a life of destitution up until now, at any moment, we can change our characters experience and do something differently.  We can switch tracks so to speak.  I think this is what your dream was telling you.

Very cool dream by the way.

Kerri

hello Kerri

Do you have any idea/knowledge as why we choose to create this illusion.
And: Do we really have a choice? I mean I'm not aware of the fact that I create my world therefore It seems kind of odd to me to say I/We choose it to be that way.

Quote from: GandalfI had a very odd lucid dream the other night.

I became lucid and found myself surrounded in white light, or perhaps a variety of lights.

I was being lectured to by a disembodied voice about how I was only one of a multitude of different versions of 'me' i.e. other 'focuses' of me in different time-lines and periods.

The voice was telling how all these other 'me's were indeed me but simply living other lives *simultaneously*, which gels with Frank's recent findings as well as the Seth books, although I haven't read the later as yet.

I was told how eventually, all these other versions of 'me' including myself will eventually come into 'full awareness' of my total self, or what is being called 'focus 4', although only when I am completely ready to do so, at my own pace.
I was given the option of trying this out temporarily myself there and then, but even in my partially lucid state, I felt too apprehensive about going that far so resisted the urge, as it is a pretty far out experience from what Frank was describing, and that may be the biggest understatement in history.

However, I do get the feeling that I will be ready to do this one day in the not to distant future and I am planning to work towards that goal.

During the experience I did feel I was becoming aware of the multitude of other 'me's out there, even if only faintly. I guess that in the complete focus 4 state, you are aware of all your myriad lives here as well as elsewhere.

Talking of multiple lives, this re-interpretation of re-incarnation, where although we do indeed have multiple lives, they are experienced at the same time rather than sequentially, is quite something to get my head round, although it is starting to make more sense.

In my view this doesn't take any value away from past life regression therapy, as I believe it is indeed possible to access all your other lives, even although they are happening simultaneously, due to the fact that the regression takes you to a point in null time, or the part of you that resides outside of space-time, where although you are still living these lives, you can still review them all from start to finish. Due to this strange effect, I still think it is possible for events in other lives to affect us in this life, particularly if it is some kind of traumatic event; for this to happen there has to be some kind of (still unknown) close connection that links your 'current' life with that other one, allowing this bleed-through to occur.

Past life regression and therapy is still valuable in my view, in order to resolve some of these issues, even if I disagree with the therapist's view on the actual mechanics of how multiple lives work in practice.

Doug

Very interesting! have you yet found a way to induce such experiences by will or does it only happen spontanously?

Please, everybody, do you think it would be possible for you to have a "meeting" in the astral plane with another person, and exchange information between the two of you? Have you ever tried that?

hello qbeac

Thanks for keeping my thread alive

Well i think there is the problem of time when meeting somebody. One would assume that two persons have to be out at the same time in the same place and both need clear conciousness in order to meet . That, i think is pretty hard to do. therefore i would assume it is easier to do experiements with objects then with meeting people.

On the other hands this may not really be so! Maybe our understanding of the astral, consciousness and time is much to limited. is time really linear in the astral? maybe not, maybe i can meet you today and you meet me tomorrow?! Well, as  a physicist I don't like time travel that much so..........Well, actually i like them, but you know, I don't wanna think about them too much

This debat is pointless. What does it matter? You can not force somebody to post. Plus it seems very hard to jugde if the forum was more activer 2 years ago. I was here then but I can't really remember. The only impression I have is that less good projectors are posting. But that is life, sometimes there are more sometimes there are less. What are you going to do about that?

There are  so many good old posts around one could spent an entire year just reading!
