Welcome to Astral Chat! / What Dreams May Come
June 12, 2004, 01:39:26
Thanks Nick,
That'd be great to hear Robert's views on the movie.

Thanks everyone for your posts, I was kinda surprised I couldn't find any previous remarks on it.
I just felt it was quite worthy of a topic.

I must get on to the book, though at the moment I can't even be bothered reading my school books heh.

I think a great part is where Albert is explaining to Chris what "you" are. When Chris is in the water, and as he starts to realise there's nothing physical about "you" he ascends to walk on water.

ooo and when Chris sees the purple tree and gets there in 8 seconds, that just makes me feel great.

Welcome to Dreams! / Reccuring Dream Symbols
June 02, 2004, 01:21:25
Or perhaps you just travel in trains a lot? Your dream replays and works through most of what you think throughout the day, so if you spend a fair bit of your time in trains it's bound to effect your dream.

wisp, there may be no point in trying to interpret that picture, as that's just a picture. It's not odd to find a big window in the front of a train, how else would the conductor see out?

Yes a train is a very strong phallic symbol, but mainly when entering a tunnel.

I know what a fruit is, but i sont know if, in this case, it is any bad expression on your language.

Yeah fruit in our language can also be slang for; idiot, psycho, homosexual (as an insult).. it can mean a few things, none of which are nice.
He was insulting Robert Bruce which should not be accepted, im sure Robert Bruce wouldn't care, but it's offensive to those who have learnt a lot from his work.

Yes this board is for discussions, not harsh arguments and anger, which is all you are bringing.

Now you can say anything you like as i am not going to waste anymore energy reading your posts, i just hope you smarten up or leave, we've had a problem here very similar to you in the past.
#55
You're also forgetting that people can experience dreams and obes at the same time... shadow memories or something like that.

Sctt, it would make this board a much more comfortable place again if you were to leave.
Sorry to be harsh, but with the way you're going you are bringing very bad energy to a place that certainly does not need it.
#56
mar10fl, please do not listen to sctt, he is simply an immature and rather ignorant annoyance.

Congrats on your achievement and keep up the good work.
That is pretty cool about those kids, maybe they are past residence of your house?... just an idea.
#57
No, Infact I was describing the person, you.

And well you have been quite disruptive also, threatening and such.
#58
Defining maturity, that is a tricky one.

I guess I would say, someone who has not yet experienced enough to really know anything about a certain subject, but believes they know everything there is to know about it and wont listen to reason.

You could also see yourself as open-minded simply because you have chosen a belief system unlike many mainstream ones, but you have so tightly closed your mind around that, so you no longer leave any room for what else might be the truth.
So infact you are very close minded around a belief system that may or may not be accurate.

Please tone it down a bit,  I do not take kindly to you saying such things about bringing harm to others. [:(!] You are beginning to remind me of someone that use to be on the boards a while back....please let me be wrong.

Nay

I was thinking the exact same thing... it seems to me like a maturity level thing.

Sctt859, I'm sorry but I also have to disagree with you as i have, on a number of occasions, gone straight in to a lucid dream from being awake.
There are no Projection symptoms or feelings or anything, you simply move 'in' to the dream (or so i have experienced).

I see dreams as ventures in to the subconcious mind, and OBEs as venture away from the physical body and realm.

Sctt you say that you are providing us with proof... yet i don't see any proof at all in what you're saying.
Noone ever said there wasn't a link between dreams and OBEs, infact i recall hearing it a number of times.

Sorry to disagree, but you havn't changed my point of view on this at all, you have no proof.
Good luck.

Sorry bout the colour on this one, my scanner buggered up.

Those pics were taken over a long period of time.

These are some things I drew in my image for a game that I'm in the process of making.
hehehe

I'm not a regular poster, but I've been around for about 10 months now. So knowing what I look like probably means nothing lol.

Sharpshark... I think you may have missed the point to Moonburn's post, he was joking, he was putitng down the hollywood version of how a demonic war would happen.
So i guess if thats the way you want them answered, i could give it a shot.

9: Is the willpower of a person affects the ability of a demon to possess this person?

Yes it i much easier for a demon to take over a person with very little willpower, but the really powerful demons could take over anyone they want.. a town mayor for instance. But you can only get one of those per epis... err.. war.

10: Can demons possess animals ?

They certainly can, these are even easier to spot as a truly loved family animal will instantly turn on its owners and start howling a lot at night time, comunicating with the other possessed animals.

11: Is there a way, other than visual, to detect these demons ? Do they emit special energy, waves or radio frequencies ?

The energy given off by a demon is very unique and easy to feel, even people not well developed energy-wise can sense them. They make you feel nauseous and very uncomfortable. They do also give off extra heat then humans, but nothing truly measurable by any non-mystical tools.

12: Are they vulnerable to some things other than a magical dagger, like black cats or blessed water?

See you can't really ever find that out until half way through the episo... oops again.. i mean.. WAR, half way through the war.
But don't worry, every string of demons have their weakness.

Really?... I'd be more inclined to say an "after-school club".

Sorry, that wasn't welcome in this post was it?... bugger.

I doubt you'd have much luck finding people in travelling distance of each other on a forum such as this, so yeah, having online stuff is the only way i'd see it working if you wanted a large "clan".

This thought occurred to me after reading Robert Bruce's article on what happens after death.  According to him, one stays in the RTZ until the supply of etheric energy in the body runs out, correct?

Well thats just a load of tosh. Ive not read the article so can someone enlighten me as to where Robert Bruce says he got his info from?

Yeah i also read that. I believe it was in his online treatise on OBE's.
But it has been a while since i read it, i think he says you have enough energy left for about 7 days but thats goin by shady memory.

Of course this may conflict with religious belief, but... oh well.

A few weeks ago i had a similar dream.

I was in my bedroom when i heard this extremely loud roar... i went out in to the front and saw this HUGE, red fiery cloud in the sky.

I was worried about radiation or something, but my mother assured me that it was a different type of bomb and because we were still alive then we wouldnt be harmed.

Then there was another giant explosion and another red fiery cloud further away.

These clouds were very scary and looked unearthly.

then a fighter jet flew over head and went behind my house. i went through the park near my house and instead of the rest of the neighbourhood i found like a miltary air hanger.
I recall seeing american flags on the jets and i looked closly at one of the rockets onthe bottom of a jet and it had the american flag and something else written on it.... unfortunatly i didnt write any of this down so i dont remember what it said.
The hanger was at the top of a cliff... an extremely high cliff. beyond that there seemed to be mountains.
were i live there are no mountains.

I walked out of the hanger and the dream kinda changed from there.

I have no psychic ability what so ever and dont recall experiencing any prophetic dreams before, but this dream was extremely vivid (the writing is the only thing i dont rememebr in detail) and for some reason when i woke up i felt it was very important.

I also thought i should add that im not american and live in australia... so the american flag prints on the jets and rockets seemed odd and unsettling to me.

from what i've gathered you would have to constantly strengthen the thought forms or else they will be too unstable to continue.

there are probably a hell of a lot of information being forgotten about and deminishing in the astral all the time.

but yes.. a very interesting thought, i doubt it'd ever be an issue though.
#70
Nagual, I agree whole-heartedly.

I'm sorry to say but I just find this whole thread kinda silly. Changing yourself because you feel some need to be with another person.
But it's not just that, you seem to need to be with someone better then yourself... it sounds like you have self esteem issues.

First better yourself for YOURSELF. You don't have to be in a relationship to be happy, especially one that you have to change yourself for.

And I'm not liking the way the hopeless romantic guys are being dissed here. At least they're being themselves and not changing themselves just so a woman will like them. Who's the real 'wuss', the guy who is being himself and wanting his partner to be happy, or the guy that completely changes himself in the hope that someone will then like him?

I'm not saying I know everything about dating...  being only 17 I know I still have alot to learn. I just dont understand why people feel the need to be in meaningless relationships. I'm quite content on being single, and if there is someone I have a strong connection with then I'll start a relationship.

Do it for yourself, not for others.

Well I'm personally sick of all this arguing on this board. This used to be a much calmer and welcoming place before all the younger members joined. Unfortunatly I only had a couple of weeks here before that happened.
I'm ashamed to be associated with the younger members (being only 16 myself) and I think it's about time you all just quit with all the fighting.
If you want people to respect you and treat you as a mature person, act mature! Arguing only makes people think less of you.

Hmm, why did Hitler come to mind when I read that?...

I think if you really wanna help the world then continue training, but train your mind... study to be a doctor, help others there are many more things you could be spending your time on.
But if you do wanna take a physical way to help, then become a vigilante... or if you don't have anything against the "man" then become a cop.

There's more to be said, but I'm too tired to say it.

Thanks James, I'll give it a around a week and if it hasn't turned up still I might see if theres any problems.

I'm from the northern suburbs, close to Broadmeadows. It's a pain living so far away cause a lot of my friends and my schools in the Essendon area which is ages away on public transport.

Thanks again for your suggestions and I hope to see the book soon.

Anyone know how long it would take for the book to get to Melbourne Victoria?... I ordered it almost two weeks ago off Astral Pulse and I'm just wondering how much longer I have to wait.

Thanks

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Energy Sub Forum
January 09, 2004, 23:02:11
Yeah kakkarot excellent explanation.

I think the main problem with the energy sub forum is that dbzers would type in "ki balls" and "power levels" and such in a search engine and find posts by other dbzers... so it might be better without it.
But, it also gives DBZers a place to talk without disturbing serious practitioners.

If it was up to myself i'd just delete all the pointless DBZer posts and be done with it... but then they'd all get pissy like when the "rise to action" one got locked.

Oh well... 'twas just an idea.
