I was lucky enough to discover the original version on vinyl, it is slightly different from the actual cd because they remasterised it, anyway don't hesitate to buy it, it is a must have ! I am even sure that it is possible to include this album in our OBE practices !!!
Thank for the "old french" remark, yes it was actual french wrote in an old manner...the real old french is totally impossible to understand nor write for most of us [|)]

I listened to it when i was mushrooming but it was too weird...so i shuted it off...but the music didn't stop playing all the night eventhough i get up many times to check if the stereo was off...yes this album is definively magic []

A great talent, imagination, etc, but became, hem, mentaly "disturbed" by something linked by this heavy use of drugs like "mandrax" (not sure of what is it, maybe a kind of somnifer)...sad story...but still incredible and unique album...

Did you ever listened to "the piper at the gates of dawn" ? Their first album....very very different but the most psychedelic music ever played with guitars...[]love it, it's like acid fairy tales...

oh, for Tangerine dream...my favorite is "rubicon"...the best in my opinion ! Very trippy, dreamy and dark...i always listen to it when i must draw something very very dark hehe...
I am not a big fan of Ravi Shankar, his play is not very representative of what is really sitar. I prefer Nikhil Banerjee, Shahid Parvez, Vilayat Khan or Monilal nag...

Desole pour la reponse tardive mais mon systeme de lecture du forum est un peu anarchique et j'ai tendance a oublier dans quelles categories sont ranges mes posts ! Bon, lorsque je me concentre sur le son je me concentre aussi sur le troisieme oeil et me suis auparavant glisse dans l'etat de relaxation...donc je pense que le siflement en lui meme n'est pas la cause (tout ca, c'est la "triangle method" de Birm, tres interessante !).

yes, the little prince ("le petit prince" is the original title) is definitively one of the my favorites. It was written by Antoine de Saint-exupery, a french writer and pilot who disapeared with his plane in the sea...
And "Tonnari no Totoro" is definitevely my favorite anime from the Ghibli studio (the Miazaki's studio) ! So magical and emotive...one can feel in this movie, the magic touch of the japanese countryside in the summer...

traditionnal music from north India and especially Sitar...that i used to play []

traditionnal music from Indonesia, Gamelan...impossible to describe, it is so wonderful...i especially like the javanese style, so lunar and majestuous...

traditionnal music from France for bagpipes and Hurdy-Gurdy and in general medieval music (from the middle age)

all kinds of very weirds and stranges music...from whales songs to Tangerine dream...ha, to not forgot Rajhastan's flutes

why do you think there is "Negs" responsibles of our bad actions, lazyness, alcoolic behaviours etc ? I mean, isn't it a way to deny our responsabilities ? Aren't we the only responsibles of our acts ?

On a side note a remember that in Bretonny (west of France) they used to say in the past time that there was a specific demon (i forgot his name) whose work was to make you sleep during the office...but as i can remember, when i was christian, if i wanted to sleep during the office...it was because it was REALLY boring []
