Oh no, please stay Zenryoku! I enjoy the hair on my back standing up!

And the reason why I said you should have your own tv show was that I logged on to this thread many times, especially page 5. And page 5 begins with you saying: GOD YOU PEOPLE IRRITATE ME!!!!!!
This was very entertaining to me and made me laugh everytime I read it.

I don't think you're an a**hole or something like that, so stay.
#52
Well, to a certain degree I think. In the end, true happiness can only be found inside yourself.
#53
Yeah, I know Yilola was right. It was something I wanted to mention as well. I think I just scratched the surface on the "living now" part. It's also what I was aiming for by mentioning the mentally disabled. I had liked to discuss it, but he, the school system's a grump sometimes. In fact this A4-thing annoyed me so much, I didn't really put much effort in my second assignment: "what is intelligence".

And when you read what I said about the mentally disabled, I said "a lot of" mentally disabled people. I had to say a lot of because I couldn't explain myself any better with the limited space I had.

In the end I still was pretty happy with the end result of my paper.
I would also like to thank you guys for replying.

Hasta luego.
#54
Thanks for that reply Mayatnik. Something I do have to mention when it comes to my paper, it had to fit my story on one paper, size A4. This didn't leave much room to really discuss everything I wanted to discuss.

And I liked reading your reply, but keep it short next time.. I don't want you to steal my thunder, hehe.
#55
Ok then. By the way, I don't only have negative things to say about you. You seem like a smart and educated person and that's why I'd like you to read my paper on happiness and comment about it. Here's the link and if it doesn't work it can be found in the philosophy section.

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10083

And I've taken to heart some things you said as well. But he, I'm still young and have got a lot left to learn.

Good luck moving.

Mayatnik, I think Jeff put it in the right way: I wasn't bashing people but I just got a little fed up with Ryoku. Personally, I think he's lying, just look at what's said in the posts above.

And I know I'm saying things that make it look like I haven't done some research but I don't have the time to type everything out in the way you do. I read some on pleiadians, zetas and reptiles and I just don't believe in it.

Through personal experience I know that nothing is what it seems and as long you "fabricate" your story right, you can "come up" with something very credible. Maybe they do exist and if they do and I find out, I won't feel stupid because I based my opinion on what seemed obvious to me at that time.

I can go on and on discussing this thing with you but I have other things to do.
And by the way, I think you're being too correct. Maybe that's why you don't come across as very reliable. You try to explain too much of everything, it's like you don't want to leave room for the critics to criticize you, like yoú know that there is a very good reason to criticize you...
And you were right about the "we" thing. Sorry about that, I'm not so correct all the time, because I don't have the time.

Tony out.

Man I love this forum!

Ryoku, I think you should get your own tv show or something. You have a rare gift to entertain people in your own unique way. This thread has made me laugh manytimes.

Thanks.

The landscape just takes on random shapes which can look like shapes that represent something.
Didn't we all do something like that with clouds when we were young?
#59
I do believe in intuition although it can't be scientifically proven yet. The problem with science is, is that it is build around our five senses when I think there is also another world to explore, a world which has to do with intuition. I don't exactly know in what way but I have my thoughts on this.

Look at it this way: what if we humans would have never developed our hearing sense? How could we then possibly know what sound/music is like? We could maybe translate the soundwaves to a computer and look at some cool graphs that represent the sound, but isn't there a lot more to sound than just some stupid patterns on a computer screen? If we would not have developed hearing, we maybe never understood what music is like and what it can do.

This is maybe a little of track from what is written above, but he, who cares.

I saw someone mentioning scientology somewhere...

Can anyone tell me what their believe is about?

Thanks

I just think that people who like to come up with these prophecies came acroos this Mayan calendar thing and used it to back up yet another doomsday type prophecy.

Here is mine: In 2050 all of the ice on the north and southpole will have disappeared as can be proven with some very difficult scientific calculations. This means Santa will not have a home anymore and will be very ticked off. Now everyone knows that Santa is some sort of divine being because he can travel around the world in one night and deliver gifts to every household using his flying sled and reindeer. After melting his ice, Santa will use his powers to end our world as we know it.

This is my doomsday prophecy so let's start the discussions and the terror!

I've been on this forum for a while now but I have never read a thread like this. I think it is one of the most entertaining threads I ever read and at the same time I have a very sad feeling when reading all this. Ryoku, or whatever your name is, I think you are full of it. I know people that believe in their own obviously made up stories and I think you are one of them. The internet is a great way to vent the thoughts you have.

Then Mayatnik, you are a strange one. One minute you are talking about people behind the scenes, people being killed (if your wife was killed I am very sorry for you) and a while later you are trying to get a date... My thought: you had a lot of lonely nights and to kill the time you watched the entire X-files series.

Maybe the story about the pyramids and stuff was based on facts but you don't come across as a reliable source, I don't believe you. If there is something great about to happen I really doubt it that beings from other dimensions or whatever try to contact us and tell us about it. If these beings know so much, they should've known about how we humans think. We don't listen to information that is transferred in a very unreliable way, at least a way that comes across as very unreliable to the majority of the people. If these beings are that smart they should know not to interfere with our lives on this planet.

These are just my thoughts. With all due respect of course.

I just wanted to comment on your experience. I had an experience like that too when I was starting to explore the spiritual world. I just knew that I found something fundamental in my life and that it was what I was looking for and at that moment I felt extremely, actually undescribely, happy(!). I also think it was some sort of experience to keep me going on this path. I never experienced anything like it since but it did change my life. I'm just waiting for the moment to feel like that again and I did come close a couple of times.

I don't know if this moron is still here, but I like to say something about one thing:

"You are forced to evolve spiritually (control)"

NO, we are not forced to do anything. That's why we have free will.
And I can go on and on telling you what is not right about things you've said but it really won't matter so...

Have a nice life and I hope you will become more happy.

Welcome to Integral Philosophy! / Humanity sucks

I really believe that we'll be alright in the future. Our society acts just like a wave pattern (read this somewhere) with spirituality at one end and materialism on the other. We are now at the top of materialism and I do believe that in the next century we, humankind, will become more spiritual.

I mean, more and more people are getting fed up with society the way it is. I was one of those that thought money was very important but now I only want money because it represents freedom and I've grown to be spiritual and not materialistic anymore.

More and more people will get fed up with life the way it is and will start their search on what's really important. The way I did it was to first buy a book written by Anthony Robbins and after that I started reading more and more and automatically discovered spirituality.

No matter how big are ego's will get, there still is something inside of us that reminds us that we are supposed to be spiritual beings. Sad thing is that there are a lot of people that will discover this when they are old.

And another thing: it's the small things that count. You being friendly to a person that maybe doesn't deserve it at that time can have a big positive effect in the future. I read an article on how "the clapping of the wings of a butterfly can lead to a hurricane at the other side of the world". Everything is connected so start with the small things that end up being big things.

That's all for know I think....

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Thoughts on Duality?

Yeah medicine really is! I saw this documentary on the discovery channel. It was about the power of our subconscience or the placebo effect. I already read a book on this subject and believed that our subconscience is the true healer and can do anything for us.

The documentary was about an experiment in which people, who were barely able to walk because of a bad knee, were given a fake surgery. Of course these people didn't know the surgery was going to be fake. They were brought to the operation room, doctors there and stuff, and were brought under narcosis (sedation? don't know the right word). The surgeons made incisions in the knee but did nothing more. The next day, the patient woke up and BELIEVED that he was operated (which he was not) and within a few days he was able to walk again like a normal healthy person.

This is the ultimate proof for me that we can heal ourselves and do many more things as long as we have faith in the power of our subconscience. After all, our subconscience let us grow from babies to what we are today. It knows the perfect matrix of our body.

Same kinda story: This guy always told himself before he went to sleep that he was very musculine and his muscles began to grow.

Is that cool or what?

You really think Jesus knocked a few off? Wow, what if we could locate some of his sperm and clone him..

There's a thought (with all due respect of course)

I didn't have any luck so far. I dreamed about cats last night though. This little kitten kept biting my in my finger and it hurt like hell!

Yeah! And what about North-Korea? They are also part of the axis of evil.

I think some of those premonitions were not really wishes from people. Don't take everything you read here to seriously.

Oh and Jena, if someone's bored, please don't tell them to kill themselves. There are other ways..
