This reality we label physical, because it FEELS physical.  You can pick up an apple, touch it, taste it, see it...
Well, I've tested things in my projections just like that too, and those realities feel every bit as physical as this one.

Basically, there is no physical... there is no non-physical.  There is only consciousness.  There is only ONE.
What we experiences are realities are simply our consciousness experiencing a different perspective of that ONE.

I totally agree!

We are consciousness-energy [One]
experiencing a myriad of illusionary perspectives [maya/ matrix/ U-in-verse],
which feels real by the engagement of our virtual senses.

All is consciousness-energy.
All is one.

He does speak like the Flamingo or in the dream he did?

I often taste and smell things in dreams... not Lucid dreams but vivid deep dreams.

I did have a nonphysical experience that contained a very specific taste experience. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_projection_experiences/the_glass_stem_and_the_fractal_fruit-t38848.0.html

In the dream-story context it was telempathically communicated to me that,
this is your husband, appears Hispanic & speaks with a funny accent
However in my present primary physical reality, my husband looks mixed Australian-Chinese
and speaks, I suppose standard Australian English [Sydney].

Now that you mentioned it, in my previous post, the lucid dreams were not really lucid dreams
because I only had a slight awareness that these were dreams and made no attempt
to change the direction of the dream experience.
I seemed to interact and respond to the scenarios presented.
My choices were within the scope of the explored themes.
Minor aspects of my [current physical primary reality] ego-personality memory leaked
through to the dream experiences.

So, like you these were more vivid dreams than lucid dream experiences.

I seldom consume any food and drink during AP so I don't usually experience taste sensation.

Last night I had a lucid dream. It was in the context of physical reality.

I was explaining to two children (boy and girl) and a female adult who resembles
Sue Sylvestor [character from the TV musical, Glee]
how all realities, including present physical reality, are in fact dreams
which feel real beause it engages one's range of senses:
sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell ...

I asked them to recall and relate their own dream experiences.

We all happen to be sitting atop of a tall building facing a mountain cliff.
The view was spectacular; summertime in full blossum [currently Winter in Australia -main foc us physical reality]:
Mountain earthy-orangy-red, azure blue clear sky,
An array of water-colours, non-transparent like paint cascaded out from mountain cliff.
Clean scent in the atmosphere.

I was quoting phrases from my own posts and Albert Einstein to make the point
eg.
QuoteReality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.
Concerning matter, we have been all wrong.
What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered
as to be perceptible to the senses.
There is no matter.

- Albert Einstein

During the same lucid dream, in another scene, now at night time,
I was in a spacious 2 storey house with a large kitchen
slightly similar to my own [in primary physical reality].
I walked downstairs to get a rice-pudding beverage from the fridge
(contained in an opaque white plastic cup).
When I drank the cold beverage, I liked the slight sweetness
with a subtle taste and scent of coconut that I drank some more later on.
[Note: In primary physical reality 2 days ago, my son discarded the many home-made
rice pudding viscous desert (in an opaque white plastic cup) that had been left in our fridge
uneaten for a week. He commented it that it tasted a little like coconut; none was added.]

In another scene I experienced nature in full splendour: flora, the forest animals,
the feeling of renewal was strong.
I was explaining to another person that after the flood [metaphoric for cleansing, renewal]
you can be whatever you want to be/experience.
Here I was contemplating the idea of being a squirrel or an eagle
[I perceived the image in my minds eye while lucid dreaming] :-D

~

I remember last year I had a lucid dream where I found myself also in a kitchen,
having a cup of aromatic hot coffee with my hispanic husband who
looks a little like Enrique Iglesias except has bright emerald green eyes and
speaks with a memorable, funny accent, much like the flamingo character
in the Movie-animation "Gnomeo & Juliet".

[my husband in primary physical reality is mixed caucasian-asian in appearance].

This person seemed to think that too.

Maybe you guys all watched the same youtube video, I dunno, lol.

Notice that I am emphasizing the higher perspective.

QuoteWe will awaken to our own divinity.
We are the returning Gods of our stories!

We collectively [experiencing the many personas/ characters of the play in mind including man, anunaki, other beings]
are the imaginations of self [consciousness/ spirit/ source].
All these stories are a play in mind. All realities are virtual realities in consciousness.

Now the story of 'man' can do with a scene change [for all those who believes & desires it].
Possible script outline :
Cast: Enlightened man, off-planet beings, inter-dimensional beings
Scene: Terra/ EArth, [outer] space exploration. [inner] space realisation
Story: Drama of man on and off Terra/ EArth interacting with other beings  :-D

After I check out of this [linear story, density experience] reality construct,
I intend to tour and visit/ experience many virtual reality constructs [data streams]  :wink
Having fun is my objective  :-D

Are any of you familiar with the theory that the Gods of Old are going to rule with the coming of 2012. That's what I believe is going to happen. I know that 666 is refers to the aquarian age and is the date that a lot of people say that the Sumerian god Enki is going to rule again. What do you think,

Susan [member of David Icke forum] has kindly shared her ebook:

on her website:  http://www.metaphysicalmusing.com/
direct link pdf 9MB  http://www.metaphysicalmusing.com/files/Inanna%20Returns.pdf

I prefer Susan's version of the Anunaki-Nibiru Story :
Anu, Enki, Enlil, Ninjursag, Marduk, Sargon, Gilgamesh ....
than Zecharia Sitchin's interpretation & conjectures.
I find this story more liberating, well-balanced, explaining many levels [stories]
to our multi-dimensional selves.
[A play in mind]

Inanna Returns
Quote

The radiant Light Being began to speak....

"I am all the expressions that have come from the mind of Prime Creator
through me, and through my beloved Inanna.
Remember who you are, remember who we are, Inanna and I.

"You see matter as vibrating energy, beause that is what it is.
Delete your fear programming, beloved.
Fear and doubt are circuitbreakers, love is a circuit-enhancer, an amplifier.
We are Love, the Love of Prime Creator.
Open to us and let go of your fear.
Your life and its expressions will become expanded beyond any dream you have know.
You were never separate from us, Beloved.

You are in us, and we are in you.
At time many of the multidimensional selves began to remember,
but it is now, in this time and space, that you, Gracie,
are beginning the process of unifying all the experiences
of Inanna's projected selves.
All of the life data from the various selves is coming into you
in this now because you have sought truth, and the time is ripe.
The courage of the passion of all those who are within you
will activate that which is dormant in your gentic codes,
and will radiate out onto the planet in a contagious joy."

from pg. 259 - 261

Some of the Characters in the story include:

Michelangelo's painting of The Creation Of Adam.

Even better  :-D

QuoteSo God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
(Genesis 1:27)

The creative intelligence/ mind created each man [Adam & Eve] in own mental image.
God created each human in mind, in own imaginings.

Another way of putting it:
You (ego-self/ persona) are the imagination of inner-self (mind).

The most oldest Indo-European written language include: Sanskrit, Greek and Latin
so this is a good starting point.

^

Many religious doctrines and well known philosophers agree that the soul is
the self that is alive, that which animates the body, is immortal and thus incorporeal (invisible/not physical).
The soul is also recognised as spirit, psyche, ghost, mind, God, divine, light.

In Sanskrit "atman" literally means "breath, soul";
akin to Old English "breath"

'atma', ("wind, breath, soul")
'atman' ('soul')

Also note that "atman" means "the True Self" —
one's True Self, generally translated into English as "Self",
beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.
Atman is the divine within the self.

The equivalent Latin world  "Anima" refers to the "animating principle"
"to give life, alive"

The Latin "psyche" translation of Greek is "psykhe" is the "soul, breath".
Mind is derived from "psyche".

For example in the Bible, the below allegory demonstrates the above word relationships.
QuoteAnd the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7

In latin the word "person" is the persona, signifying primarily a mask used by actors on the stage.
In Black's Law dictionary the "person" is the 'legal fiction' -not man, the living soul.
Contracts between corporations/ legal fictions are made with the "person".

Here is a detailed explanation and etymology of the word "Soul"

Michelangelo's painting of the Separation of Light from Darkness,
one of a series of nine Sistine Chapel panels showing scenes from the Book of Genesis.

Temple

[anatomy] indicates the side of the head behind the eyes.

Etymology:
The word temple means "place of worship".
Both come from Latin.
The word for the place of worship comes from templum,
whereas the word for the part of the head comes from Vulgar Latin *tempula,
modified from tempora, plural form ("both temples") of tempus,
a word that meant both "time" and the part of the head.
Due to the common source with the word for time,
the adjective for both is "temporal" (both "pertaining to time"
and "pertaining to the anatomical temple").

Astrotheology/ Astromythology
Although the Bible is not literal and is allegorical, it contains elements of truth.

Quote
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:6)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1)
the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21)

Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods' (John 10:34)
I have said, you are gods (Psalm 82:6)

You are God. God is all that is.
You are the observer and that which is observed.
You are both the dreamer and the dream.

I can recall experiencing the inconsistencies of light/day and dark/night many times during the last decade.

In two of my OOBEs I returned to the same place, during physical reality:
(a) after midnight
(b) late afternoon (daylight)
With the intention of viewing my akashic records/ I there files, I  (a)flew (b)teleported
arrived unexpectedly at a place which reminds me a little of "The Sound Of Music" glass house.
It was the only structure standing. Although I have experienced this place twice,
both occurring at night during a bright full moon,
I can perceive the grassy plain would be lush and green, untouched by human activity.

(a) visited place but have no remembrance whether I went inside.

(b) Inside the glass house contained open shelves, filled with many white lacy books
[I would rather a youtube, google type interface search engine information format]
As I thought of finding my record, one book fell into my hands.
It opened out like a fan with segments except rectangular.
In this dim light I can only feel and see an embroidered big "H" with a script like font.

I noticed 2-3 others in the room at this point who were also trying to read their records
in the moon light. I demanded "lights on" repeatedly, tried to create a torch, but did not work.
In my frustration I allowed my emotions to overflow and suddenly I lost
consciousness/remembrance.

After I woke up [physical reality, still some daylight I went to my computer room and
browsed the internet. My toddler-son woke up from his nap shortly after.
He came into the room and gave me a hug.
He noticed something under my computer table and retrieved it.
He held a magnetic "H" letter up to show me, and announced proudly "H" several times.
Coincidence or what?  :-D

A few months ago, I holidayed in Hong Kong with my family.
While there, one night I had a lucid dream of visiting
the port warehouse during the day [I have not yet visited any such place in physical reality].
At one point, when I walked outside [bright sun-light] the warehouse, I saw a blinking red light
accompanying a text message which appeared in the scene: found embedded three books.
I connected with the message with my intention and retrieved three holographic [semi-transparent]
short children storybooks. [I have three children in physical reality].
This experience was so vivid.

Here is another example of my OOBE.
Inconsistencies: day-night, landmark, home, cartoon body & cartoon reality.

Here's a synopsis of the theory.

We humans have evolved from a great ape that began to live in a semi aquatic environment off the coast of Africa sometime between 6-7 million years ago. We found an abundant food source that was rich in iodine and fatty acids amongst other nutrients that fueled our brain growth. Wading in the shallows is how we became bipedal. We began to evolve in ways that were much more suitable for this environment. We lost most of our hair so that we would be more streamlined and have less drag while swimming. We started to sweat, not just as a means of cooling down, but also as an efficient way of ridding our bodies of excess salt. We adapted the ability to hold our breath underwater for up to 20 minutes. No other primate can come close to this time and it is even longer that some marine mammals today. Newborn babies instinctively hold their breath underwater and can even swim. Again, no other primate does this. We also have some webbing in between our fingers and toes that is also not present in any other primate. The theorists ask why would we have the abilities and traits if they were not at one time extremely important to us. Mother nature doesn't usually bestow unneeded characteristics.

LOL  :-D the internet is rampant with theories, myths, stories and experiences.
Since I perceive that consciousness plays out many possibilities and scenarios...
any will do
Pick those that inspire your imagination, in accordance with your desires and mindset.

Here is one I like:
Terence McKenna - "Stoned Ape" Theory of Human Evolution

Injestion of magic mushrooms improves visual and perceptive abilities, self awareness,
self reflection, reproduction and evolves higher states of consciousness.

QuoteMcKenna proposed that the transformation from humans' early ancestors Homo erectus to the species Homo sapiens mainly had to do with the addition of the mushroom Psilocybe cubensis in its diet - an event which according to his theory took place in about 100,000 BC (this is when he believed that the species diverged from the Homo genus). He based his theory on the main effects, or alleged effects, produced by the mushroom. One of the effects that comes about from the ingestion of low doses, which agrees with one of scientist Roland Fischer's findings from the late 1960s-early 1970s,[25] is it significantly improves the visual acuity of humans - so, theoretically, of other human-like mammals too. According to McKenna, this effect would have definitely proven to be of evolutionary advantage to humans' omnivorous hunter-gatherer ancestors that would have stumbled upon it "accidentally"; as it would make it easier for them to hunt.

In higher doses, McKenna claims, the mushroom acts as a sexual stimulator, which would make it even more beneficial evolutionarily, as it would result in more offspring. At even higher doses, the mushroom would have acted to "dissolve boundaries", which would have promoted community-bonding and group sexual activities that would result in a mixing of genes and therefore greater genetic diversity.

I've heard some people say this, and they talk about how they are happy with what they have. IS this just an excuse that they never got to go to college?

Only you can answer this yourself  :-)

Let me pose several fundamental questions,

* What is the purpose of existence, life?
* Does life have any inbuilt meaning?
or
* Rather, does each mind perceive whatever purpose and meaning according to
each mind perspective and desires/motivations?
or
* Is life, existence just is, with no inbuilt meaning, thus no absolute belief systems; simply self awareness.

I had a NPR experience from a Dream state where I was taken to see a Black Hole and I saw that one side destroys, but the other side creates anew. Just like a gigantic Cosmic Recycling machine. So I would have to agree with Greytraveller's assessment.  :-) Black on one side/White on the other.
Here is a link to that post: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/astral_vision-t38049.0.html
I agree.
Recycles what? Destroys what?
Particles or ideas/information.

====
Note all visual information are images, that is the pattern/arrangement of pixles/bits
within a defined boundary, that is recognisable within the community, context, reality-frame.

It is the space, the void that defines all perceivable things.
It is the silence that defines sound.
Without space and silence there would be no motion picture, rhythm, time, music experiences etc.
====

According to Walter & Lao Russell, there is only one mind-light substance creating
all that what we perceive by centripetal (gravitation/electicity) and centrifugal (radiation/magnetic) motion.
There are no solid particles, all perceivable things are pulsations of spin/cycle(3D).
Creation is a thought-wave universe which records God's (magnetic) knowing
as expressed by God's electric thinking.
http://thecrowhouse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6667

This ties in with our observations of the physical universe/reality.
All perceivable things spin.
"The POWER of SPIN" by The Resonance Project / Nassim Haramein:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJOBnoqk_0Q

Also when we take into consideration our experiences with this type of phenomena:
eg. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_projection_experiences/quotwormholequot_during_lucid_dream-t35927.0.html
black wholes, worm holes, portals, vortex (all metaphors)
yield a stargate experience into another portal or dimension of consciousness,
some call another universe, reality, dimension of experience.

In our vernacular and pop CULTure we have:
* rabbit hole [Alice in Wonderland/ The Matrix]
* vortex/ tornado [Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ]
* hypnosis

all demonstrating types of tunnel vision, subjective story experiences.
An illusory perspective.

So I think we need to move away from the outdated material universe construction building block theories
to rich, flexible dialogue-idea, information-graphical-media, perspective reality models.
ie. evolution of ideas, stories and corresponding symbols/images/forms;
arrangement and rearrangement of patterns.

When we pay attention to and remember our experiences in other states of consciousness,
where we can reproduce and experience a myriad of sensations,
I think our intuition is showing us that the Universe is a You-in-verse subjective experience.

Interesting!  So why do you think you had the Hindu lucid dream?  You say you had the dream before you were aware of the God and symbolism.  Is this significant to you?  If this is too personal please forgive my asking!

Hi soarin12,

Although I was raised with the typical Christian attitudes and belief systems,
I never did quite grasp the [separate] lofty authoritarian God image.

Throughout my childhood I had many lucid dreams
[eg. flying, playing tips on the ceiling with my brothers,
being aware that I am dreaming about myself dreaming, having a dream]
had sleep paralysis -caught myself leaving my body
but did not closely examine these experiences, and went my merry/and not so merry ways.

It wasn't until 2002 when I experienced an awake spontaneous OOBE with dual consciousness
[#9] http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_permanent_astral_topics/what_are_your_achievements_and_discoveries-t25297.0.html;msg298472#msg298472,
that I started to question the nature of self and reality.

My lucid dreams became more interesting.
I explored OOBE and phasing states of consciousness.
I started breaking out of CULTural hypnosis and dogma [unquestionable belief systems]  :-)

QuoteThink freely. Question everything.

I was not aware of the Hindu symbolism and their corresponding meanings
before that lucid dream experience.
These experiences and subsequent interpretations demonstrate that our inner self
continually communicates to/reminds us in our other states of consciousness.
The question is, are we paying attention?

====
CULTure and scientifc thinking persuades most minds to dismiss one's dreams and
any metaphysical experiences as unimportant or "unexplainable events".
However if one remembers more of the totality of one's experiences, in waking consciousness, physical realities, non-physical realities, dream realities & meditation, then one will not experience such tunnel vision and self-doubt.

When one has vivid rembrance of these experiences, then one knows that the
ego-personality construct, body vehicle and time-story-context is transient.
The only absolute is self!

I love reading about different religions.  I find lots of truth in many of them. :)

Many religious texts contain elements of truth, however most are distortions if you
were to take the words as absolute literal fact.
Allegorical fables can be appreciated for its rich imagery/symbolism and
perceived meaning on multiple levels.
These mental images of "God/Source" are archetypes in humanity's collective psyche
of qualities one wishes to project in creation.

Religion was useful in my youth, when I needed some guidance.
Now, [mid 30s] I perceive religion as stage props to set the scene for Imagination to build stories.

A few years ago I experienced OOBEs and lucid dreams which gave me more insight & self validation about the "self, I am".

My OOBE: WE all wear masks, personas.
I felt a slight weight on my cheeks, so I flew upstairs &
looked at myself in the golden framed mirror.
I was grey haired and appeared very old, and had many wrinkles, however I had so fat on my cheeks.
I immediatel rejected this reflection, insisting in my mind that I am youthful.
The reflection changed.
I saw a youthful version of my regular look wearing a fox half mask which covered my upper face.
Then the mask disappeared and I saw myself gazing into the mirror.
Unexpectedly I got pulled into the mirror, into nothingness, the stillness, the void.
I have no body awareness and experience the pure presence of mind, self awareness.
[I have experienced this several times before this experience].

My Lucid Dream: Timeless dance of nothingness
I found myself in - what felt like a spacious hall with shiny wooden floor boards.
[I did not perceive any boundaries/walls , heard the murmurs of many voices but perceived no bodies].

I saw three white scrolls on the floor; all looked like calendars
each featuring month after month,
an animated similing blue being with 4 waving arms, sitting cross-legged, wearing different neck ornaments.
I moved down the scrolls and did not perceive any ending to the scrolls/this repetition.

[I found out later this blue being is the image of the Hindu God "Shiva".
The hall is a metaphor for the hall of mirrors and
the timeless calendar a metaphor for the dance/dream creation
of hide and seek around nothingness].

====

Afterwards I looked up the symbols for:
FOX: http://www.whats-your-sign.com/fox-animal-symbolism.html

HINDU GOD SHIVA: Shiva is the god of the yogis, self-controlled and celibate,
while at  the same time a lover of his spouse (shakti).
Lord Shiva is the  destroyer of the world, following Brahma the creator and Vishnu  the preserver,
after which Brahma again creates the world and so on.
Shiva is responsible for change both in the form of death and  destruction and
in the positive sense of destroying the ego, the false  identification with the form.
This also includes the shedding of old  habits and attachments.

Here is an electronic book shared by a member of the David Icke Forum.

I've read the first chapter and glanced at some other chapters.
The author, Ian Wilson appears to have thoroughly researched "Dreaming" in its many facets,
comparing it to computer processing and explains the mechanics of dreaming.

I like the picture on the cover page.
Encapsulates ideas that I too recognise as being a metaphor/property of dreaming  :-)
eg. self reflection, energy grid, matrix, hologram, media, thoughts, computer.

Quote from: youaredreaming;1061488313It's been a while since I have last posted but I wanted to share that I have enjoyed David Icke's work for a very long time and that he has inspired me to write a book regarding dreaming, which I have but only as a free e-book, and in public domain.

I just wanted to share it with you because I do feel we are living in a dreamworld and are striving to wake up. That is what this book is all about, waking up to the dream that is our reality. It's on Google docs so I can revise it anytime and not have to pay for bandwith.

Hope you enjoy.

Which words did I take out of context?

My reply to the question[rhetorical] "Who created Who?"
was to also point out this line of supposition is futile, going round and round in circles.
Linear thinking is limited and often presumes there is a beginning and an end;
God created man, Higher God created the God that created man, and so forth.

Although we express ourselves using different metaphors and arrangement of words,
we seem to be much in agreement that existence just is.
Yes, existence or life does not require beliefs in a superior, separate being to exist.

However since many do presume and define "God" to be the omnipresent
Creator or Source of all perceivable things, then I am sharing my experiences:
Look within to realise that beneath the body vehicle, personality, beliefs
that one dons, is the absolute self that thinks, desires, feels, perceives.
This is the source of life, the source of all perceivable things,
that which thoughts/perspectives/desires arise from.

While self is clothed in a body vehicle, in the context of life story, relative to a reality construct/paradigm,
the ego, the personality construct often convinces self that all this is real.
The ego-self experiences a kind of tunnel vision, akin to focused attention in order to
experience the human drama, in a linear story involving much limitation
mainly due to body vehicle expression.

So man-the ego complex experiences great drama in pursuing ambitions,
wealth, status, power, influence, happiness, relationships, love, peace etc.
The ego-self that is too attached to material things, and the reality construct
at the cost of life, ecosystem and cause much human suffering
can be said to be in great self delusion and "misaligned" with the inner-self, true self.

But what is truth?
While experiencing a body vehicle, I maintain that truth is relative and subjective to the perceiver.
Only self can know one's own mind, motives, desires and thoughts.

Can there be absolute truth?

I think the absolute truth is existence, life, self awareness, self,
all else are ideas, perspectives, different angles of view,
arising from the imaginings of Source.
Source or self, the creative mind that gives light forms to perceivable things.
Self that aligns with truth is the mind that facilitates life and
and freedom of expression.

Yes, know thyself, self, the "atman" the Source of all perceivable things.
Trust in self is to create you own lore, story, U-in-verse.

Know that the dreams that one dreams are temporary imaginings that seem real enough.
Once the dream ends, the eternal Self and Dreamer can dream another in whatever order,
context, thought-form, mental images, allowing the scope of imagination.

Becareful of being entrapped in one's dreams and corresponding belief territories.
Lack of imagination and ego attachment can yield the commensurate
repeat performances/pretend play often referred to "reincarnation"

Note: Reply #8, I forgot to rename the post: With our thoughts we make the world. Dreamer and dream are one.

We are what we think.

Buddha may have been incorrect, or at least speaking in terms of what we think we are determines how we behave.

Light is information (data) - we are not information we are that which interprets information within the scope of our abilities and experience.

The absence of data is not the absence of "God" -

GOD was not 'created' but has always ever existed...therefore there is no purpose to 'completing the circle' as to do so limits one within the parameters of the fore mentioned 'gods' of human imagination which are constructs given immense powers over their human creators.

Please re-read my posts again within this thread, and you will find that
you have taken my words out of context.

God is just a metaphor that we use, so that we can talk about the idea,
but what is the relationship between this concept
and the "I am" that thinks, perceives, qualifies and feels?

In this primary focus reality I perceive I am the ego that comes with the body,
the life story, hiSTORY, the experiences,
however when I experience another physical and non-physical reality I am not the ego,
the life story within the context of community and time period.
The ego is transient, the self awareness is absolute.

When I have no body awareness and experience the void I have no definition for self.
I have no name, no care, no concerns, no body.
I am aware that I am.
I am self referencing, aware that I am aware of self.
There is no time, I am the only reference to self.
In this state I am incorporeal, life, consciousness.

Then when I desire, will, imagine, I then clothe myself with a mental body
and simulate a virtual U-ni-verse and experience body sensations in the context
of U-in-verse, that is my story, my script.

Who Created Who?  The line is somewhat blurred but if one cares to see through that, it becomes an obsolete way to think.

Where does 'thought' actually derive?  Obviously the persistence of certain thought structure results in creative manifestation but does it really take the combined thought of many individuals in order to 'make it real'?

If we presume that something or superior entity created a lesser God,
then how many layers of bigger Gods/Goddesses do we imagine created the one before that,
when we finally acknowledge that it is inevitable we will come full circle and accept that
God just is.
I think it is the limited human perception to think linearly.

Here's a thought, if we accept -
one of most basic laws of science is the Law of the Conservation of Energy:
Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another.

Then energy just is. Light just is.

What is God? What is the Creator?
If this metaphor we call  "God" created no thing, then all things are thought-forms within God,
within the mind of God, light of God.
Then God being no thing, God is incorporeal.
God is spirit.
God is life.
God is light of mind.

Meditators and consciousness explorers will finally come to the self realisation,
that since there is no thing, but intelligence and energy creating our mindscape,
then all is a play or dream in mind, in consciousness, in spirit.
Another way of putting it, we all are experiencing different states of consciousness
and and assertion of mind.

The word "Buddha" means "I am awake".
Buddha puts this simply:
QuoteWe are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.

I'ts not the belief the important thing. It is the framework inside it. A belief (of whatever nature) is practical only when the framework inside it works, elsewhere it doesn't, or it doesn't fully.

The beliefs are just representations of the framework, but they are not the most important part. All practical traditions (as shamanism or true sorcery) have working frameworks at the base of the beliefs and the beliefs are the representations of that framework, a way to operate with it. However, as I said, a belief with no working framework inside doesn't work just because it is a belief.

Agree.
For example Western CULTure embraces Newtonian and Darwinian Science.
Metaphysical phenomena and sharmanism are disregarded as superstition,
and not part of the so-called objective measureable world of Science.
However the power of prayer is accepted to work miracles.

These dominant beliefs form the basis of CULT-u-re.

The framework is CULTure.
Collective dominant beliefs, customs, rituals, language etc. within a group of people.
I agree with Terrence McKenna's perspective that "Culture is your operating system".

Terrence McKenna
* He was an American philosopher, psychonaut, researcher, teacher and more.
He describes how 'Culture is your operating system' - like boundary defining engines,
and plants/psychedelics eg DMT can transcend Cultural OS, enabling one to return to first premises.
Here he is suggesting that perceptions from cultural programming once removed & replaced can allow the individual
eg. shamans to experience a different reality.

Materialist support the presumption that God is separate from creation/nature,
and that the universe/reality is made from solid stuff, particles, things.

Quantum physics and EMF Spectrum demonstrates that there are no solid stuff, no things.
Every perceivable thing in phy-sical reality is an expression of the phi-cycle,
an expression of electricity and magnetism carrying information.

Epigenetics demonstrates that DNA (including telomere) do not control cells and determine longevity.
We are limited by our beliefs and perceptions.
It is our beliefs that adjust our physiology.
It is our beliefs that adjust the selection of genes.
http://www.in5d.com/forum/index.php?topic=2581.msg4118;boardseen#new

Meditation, phasing, OOBEs, lucid dreams allow each of us to explore our consciousness,
our desires and definitions of self.
We experience our own mental space and experience a myriad of sensations,
sometimes in the context of story which we believe to be real at the time of the experience.

Subsequently some ask the question, is the dreamer and the dream separate or one?
Similarly is the observer and that which is observed separate or one?

Since there are no real solid stuff, then is every perceivable thing, no thing,
non-physical, incorporeal, thought-forms/images perceived by mind?

Then the only absolute is the observer, perceiver, consciousness, mind, I am (all metaphors).

Quote from: Chaos Mage on April 28, 2013, 09:53:44
The only true God is the Spirit.
So yes, all is God, all is Spirit, all is consciousness.

Even in the Bible, it states that God is the Word, God is Light, God is all that is.

Most if not all the "Gods" and "Goddesses" that are part of all religions started out as nothing more that thought forms created and enforced by the millions of people that pray to them(believe in them). They have gained their power from the prayers and are now sentient beings, that have the powers that people have contributed to them.  So if they were not real to start with, they are now, because of the thoughts and energy given them by the people that believe in them.

I agree.
Most religions uses idols, symbols, thought-forms/images in the context of
stories, particularly astromythology to focus beliefs.
Eg. Bible & Astromythology. http://www.in5d.com/forum/index.php?topic=2896.0
These dominant beliefs form the basis of CULT-u-re.
Those who practise the corresponding rituals and customs perpetuate the meme.
Meme, a unit of an idea within culture.
Also me-me, a repeat unit of idea perceived by me.
Unless the idea is made real by me, by my continuous focused beliefs, then any meme that
falls out of flavour or popularity with me becomes a fad, a myth.
It has lacks the power to inspire and move people.

A computer analogy, the processor is the perceiver:
the [popular] meme which processed/accessed regularly and quickly occupies RAM (Random Access Memory)
becomes
the [unpopular] meme which processed/accessed less, occupies ROM (Read Only Memory).
Both memes reside in memory, and are experienced only while being processed.

Interestingly when one looks into the etymology of the word "matter" and "soul"
we find that the relationship between matter and soul is mind and the creative illusion.
The word "person" comes from the Latin word "persona", the mask, the fiction.

Sorry but i feel the whole LUCIA business is a scam.....

So yeah i find it disgusting the promotion of this when there are plenty of far far cheaper devices that can achieve the same or similar effect.

I posted the info before I found out about the excessive price tag  :-(

Although I do not personally know if the Lucia works or not,
the Australian Distributor offered to demonstrate the machine to me.
I declined after I found out the approximate price tag from online research.

There is no Devil/Lucifer (evil personification) except one that exists in the mind and heart of those driven by fear and ignorance of self.

Some people during sleep paralysis *** scare themselves silly because they are afraid of the unknown.
In this liberated state, one will experience immediately what one desires, thinks and feels.
This will manifest in ones mindscape/ mental space.
Hence in this state, if one is fearful then one may manifest ones fears, symbols of ones fears.

Fearful experiences and beliefs can be overcome through introspection, reflection and self-realisation.

Matter is but different states of motion of One substance.

What motion?
Phy-sical = Phi-cycle

What substance?
The One substance of thinking Mind is all that exists.
The "created" universe is the registration in matter of the idea of thinking Mind.
Mind is the universe.
Mind substance is "spiritual" substance.
Spirit is light.
Light is the living substance of Mind in action. It is the creating principle of the One substance.
Light is life.
The universe and all that is, is One.

QuoteIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (Bible John 1:1)
God is light (Bible 1 John 1:5)
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Bible Ephesians 4:6)
Note: Word = mind = consciousness. God is all that is. "Light of mind" is all that is.

Walter Russell
explains that there are no separate partcles or elements.
All elements are made up of the very same spiral units of motion - or vortices.
Every particle of matter is both cathode (+ve) and anode (-ve).
Their pressure conditions are different in every part of the wave in which the elements find themselves.

When a particle arrives at wave amplitude, or any equator where the pressure condition is reversed,
it can well be called a neutron, for it polarity is balanced.
One particle becomes another particle where their pressure condition changes.

There is but ONE dynamic Force.
The one force of the universe is the energy of the thinking mind.
There is no other energy.

We are becoming more like a global brain every year. Its clear that the side that organizes things more like brains (decentralized, not hierarchy) is going to become stronger. That's not even yet considering that we're close to figuring out how Human brains work and organining our global flows of information that way, more intuitively and intelligently than any search engine we've yet imagined. When information flows are censored, that is the force its working against. Its like rubbing sandpaper on a mountain lion's butt. You don't want to wake up this animal.

Instead of the New World Order as hierarchy that controls everything, we are becoming more like a global brain. Lets work toward that, something almost everyone will be happy we've done after living in it for some time.

I agree. The communication networks looks more like a global brain.
In essence, I think this better reflects how consciousness operates.

Agree.

Quote from: Xanth on December 24, 2012, 11:46:28
I'm not saying you're right or wrong... but I can see a lot of good coming out of a one-world government.  I guess, it would really depend on the government though, right?
What government do we currently have?
What type of courts do we currently have?
Is this type of government one which fairly represents the interests of the people
through transparent means, encourages the free flow of information or one that is much fear-ego driven?

Much of my research indicate that we have "corporate" govern-ments and "corporate" courts
which is driven by business interests, non-transparent and compels compliance/contract through ignorance and fear of the people, by creating a myriad of corporate/company policies which
at large limit the creative expression.

This type of govern-ment does in deed govern-minds through its endeavour to monopolise
trade, censor information, restrict technologies, and enforce national boundaries.

We already have the I.M.F. and Federal Reserve Banks which dictates the lives of most people
and minds in this paradigm construct called "Earth" run by an unelected group of people,
who are really the decision makers behind the puppet government talking heads.

Now that many people know this there is a concerted "sovereign" movement to redress this imbalance.

Those who 'know who they are' will be least affected by government, however those who are
unawaken such as the celebrity worship crowd will find their lives more and more restricted.

Do we need governments to govern our minds and lives?
On the individual level I perceive that we deserve what we attract with our beliefs and actions.

From my experiences, know that when one challenges government and refuse to contract,
one can remain "sui juris" and make the government agents accountable.
