Welcome to Dreams! / Drugs as a dream symbol???
November 10, 2004, 05:40:11
Does anyone ever dream about drugs???
I know it sounds strange but last night i dreamt i did some cocaine!!!! I dont do cocaine and i never have, so it just seems strange to me. Its not the 1st time its happened either.
I know that events in dreams are sybmolic, so im thinking that drugs may represent an "altered state of conciousness" (as thats what they do in the physical). Do you think that these dreams are msgs from my higher self telling me i should meditate more (mediataion being an altered state of conciousness)????

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Breathing

Ok, so I read somewhere that a good way to relax, was to beathe deeply and fast about 50-60 times, then after this your body goes into a state of relaxation. So last night i tried it!!
At around the 40 mark i started to feel tingling, like pins and needles on my face, chest, arms and hands. I thought that these may be vibrations, but i wasnt able to manipulate them up and down my body (as i have read you can), and then they faded a few minutes after i stopped the deep breathing.  I've not had vibes before, so i have no point of reference. ???
I was wondering if anyone knew what they were, or if theyve had a similar experience.
Thanks guys :)

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could please clarify, what is the difference between mediatation and chakara meditation?
How do you do it? (Chakara meditation that is)
Thanks

It could be a thought form??!
Rob Bruce says that when you project, you might see bits of furniture in your house that arent normally there. These are the thought forms of the previous owners of the house. Have a look (in the physical) where the tv is, to see if theres any screw holes or anything, where a tv bracket might have been.
Just a thought???

Thats awesome. What a cool, meaningfull 1st projection. Lucky you.

So in other words, your nightmares are manifestations of your own inner fears, and by realising this you can eliminate any evil entities in your dreams/projections, as they are just figments of your imagination

Read the Thiaoouba prophecy. That has somethings in it which might answer the above questions. Thiaoouba.com

Have you ever tried projecting using this "pressure". It sounds like somethin i read on the jonasridgeway website. You should imagine the pressure is pushing your astral body out of your physical though the bed. I think he calls it the gravity release method or something of that variety

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Nearly there

The other morning, my alarm went off for work, and i turned it off and thought to myself "just another 5minutes" (you know how it is). Anyways, i drifted back off to sleep and had a short dream, and then woke up. I had sleep paralysis, and i thought, this is the perfect condition for projecting. But for some stupid reason, i said to myself that i better not try to project, or i might fall asleep and be late for work!!!!
Stupid, stupid, stupid. Looking back in hindsight, i should have tried as it wouldve been my 1st time and i woulda probabaly got pulled back into my physical rather pronto! However, this has raised my confidence and i cant wait to get SP again so i can have another go. This time i dont care if im gonna be late for work. LOL.

Going off the subject slightly, this question is aimed at regular projectors. If you project at night, i take it it is also night in the astral. My concern is that at night, my room is like really dark, and if i maage to seperate, i wonder if im gonna be able to see anything??? :-Thanks for reading.

Hi Guys.
This question is for people who have had quite a few projections.
Being somewhat of an astral newbie, i thought, as instructed, i should read as much about the subject as possible, in an attempt to saturate my subconscious with it, and therefore, hopefully, making it easier to project. During my reading, namely "A treatise on Astral Projection. By Robert Bruce", i came across a chapter tittled "Future wind". For those of you that have read it, you'll know what i mean, but for those who haven't, he describes it as an invisible force, whilst in the astral, which blows you to a location, where you are symbolically shown your future. I thought this was most intriguing, and wondered if any of you proficient projectors out there had experienced anything like it and wondered if you cared to share?
Cheers
Rich

Welcome to Astral Chat! / The Celestine Prophecy
September 21, 2004, 04:57:06
Yeah, ive read it. I thought it was really awesome. I know its  only fictional, but so many of the insights are true to life it unreal. I read it before i knew anything about obe/ap's, and when i started reading around the subject(obes/self-awareness/conciousness), i was like wow, its the real life Celestine Prophecy, and it helped me understand things a bit clearer.
I haven't read the 10th insight though!!

Why are you sleeping in darkness? It will cause fears and make your attempts more difficult.

I always sleep in the dark! Dont you? Im not frightened of it, just concerned that if i do project, il miss the experience as its dark. Is it just a case of "willing" vision in the dark????

Thanks for replying
