I want to know if their is such things as astral pets. I really want to have a dinosaur.I know it sounds stupid but i think it would be fun to ride on its back and stuff. I want a plant eater, i know it probably isint possible but just want to know.

In the inner dimensions, due to the absence of time, you can create anything you want with focused thought, and manifestation takes place almost instantly.

So, if you want to ride on a dino, simply focus with all your mind next time you have an AP
(bet it will be well fun, as well;-)

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Suicide and NDE

Yeah...I sent the post, without reading other responses...I felt I was being a little insensitive (wasn't mean't to be...)

I agree, physical illness is a real tricky issue...not really sure how to respond to be honest. But it's definately something spiritual. The question, is what. What is the souls agenda? What is the soul trying to experince?

The one guy that comes to mind, (not a great example, but worth noting) is Ken Keyes Jr

The guy, after being paralyzed, became very spiritual, and wrote many great books, inspiring many people

But, not everybody can be like him

having said that, Abraham does say, 'All death is a suicide'

Does make me wonder...

I've had obe's when I've been with people that are in the physical world, co-workers, family, etc...

Of course, from their point of view, they were dreaming, and sometimes they can't recall...

worth a thought :-)

However, if they choose to stay, they can have a nice time in heaven, but at some time they MUST reincarnate and go through all the same problems which led them to their suicide, and deal with them again. Presumably, if they commit suicide again, they could end up in an endless cycle!

This strikes me as a bit unfair! What do you think?

In a really wierd way, I get this. Don't forget, in ultimate reality, nothing is conditional, so really nothing is, 'bad'. As Eckhart Tolle would say, it is what it is...

Also, William Burlham puts it another way, 'Confronting and dissolving the energy manifestations of my own fears, limits and blocks are essential for my spiritual growth. There are no negative experiences, only energy manifestations I don't currently comprehend.'

This sounds sooo harsh, but it's true. (I've been manically depressed in years gone by...not pretty)

You simply have to learn to use focus intention, plus being in the present moment, to change your hologram

otherwise, you do not grow...(forgive me if this is a harsh opinion)

Funny thing was, when I finally, 'gave in' to my soul, and began really focusing hard, I felt strangely better...

But I agree, to the spiritual illiterate, it is harsh...very harsh.

I've always thought that. If you know where you're looking, you won't need to buy anything.

All money does, is accelerate the process (for most things)

Great Post...and VERY inspirational

Having been someone who was socially anxious in the last decade, trust me it can be uncomfortable...but if you stick at it, the rewards are limitless.

You begin to feel empowered and mentally more, 'strong'

:-D

only 5...
Start with, 'conversations with god' by neale donald walsch (a great icebreaker into spirituality)...
then, 'the power of of now' by Eckart Tolle (teaches you about stillness and being in the present moment)
probablefuture.com for Remote Influencing and Viewing (a bit deep, but treaches us that we are all soul and are vibratory particles of light, and how to view anything by going into deep meditation)
The secret to the soul by William Burlham (about oobes, and how the multiverse really works)

...and then to finish, the book I'm reading at the moment, Ken Keys, 'The Handbook to Higher Consciousness' (an absolutely brilliant book, which wonderfully completes the rest and teaches you, real, practical ways on how to live a life of unconditional love...can't recommend it enough)
#60
I'm starting to use this technique myself to initiate oobe's, but I would imagine that practice makes perfect
#61
You guys have inspired me...
I'm going to start doing this on fri night from now on (have the weekend to recover if I do have a bad sleep, lol)

I'll simply, 'feel' the chi in my body, and should hpefully be able to lift off.

Hi people!

Im a newbie to meditation and AP. Started Meditation a month ago, and been doing it regularly for 20mins a day. What im confused about is are meditation and AP two SEPARATE things? Previously I thought that the sages and saints meditated to be with the Divine, which can mean the astral. But after finding about astral projection and how you dont need to meditate to have a projection makes me confused about why we meditate?

Is meditation there to be in a state from where one can start to project? or the first step for projecting? Because the steps for projecting such as physical relaxation and silencing the mind are exactly what meditation is right?

Also, when should i meditate and when should i try to project?

They are both different, but they do compliment each other perfectly. When you meditate, you increase the vibratory rate of your body. If you know what you're doing, you can AP in the middle of a good meditation session, but you have to be very mentally disciplined.

On the other side of the coin, I've been able to feel the Chi in my body after an AP, and the meditation session was amazing, as I felt like the whole room was lifting, as I was breathing...I somehow, 'felt' my etheric body. It was quite an experience :-)

this used to happen to me loads...In the end, I said 'I now see thru my eyes'

...then, for some reason, my mind turns to jelly, for about a second, like my subconscious is, 'decoding' a reality (really hard to explain...)

...and then I see, and am able to move

#65
The thing is, unless you do tests, you'll never know...but it does sound like a mind creation...
still, 7 times is loads (in my opinion)

keep up the good work
#66
In my opinion, most certainly.

It took me a few times, though (because a part of you still thinks it was a funny dream or something...)

But after the 5th one, your cynism starts to go, as you finally have to say to yourself that there is no such thing as death...and the fear reduces... (energy cannot be created nor destroyed, and you are energy)

Of course, the more you AP, the more you appreciate and respect life, and show more compassion for people.

I feel so lucky to be able to AP on a (fairly) regular basis (had 2 this morning, but they wern't long...)

Just my thoughts...
:-)
#67
I own his basic AP mp3...didn't really do much (had more luck with William Burlman, myself...)

Having said that, I don't mind the guy, as he has helped me in other areas of my life...

so about 60/40 for me (in his favour)
#68
keep up the good work  :-)

Just curious really whether there have been days where many of your main chakras were opened? And for how long for?

And did you manifest things easily as a result?

Once, I managed to get my Sacral Chakra, Stomach Chakra, Heart Chakra and Brow Chakra, all to work at once. I manifested a few small things, but nothing massive (and it didn't last long, but it was very peaceful and nice while it did)

That may not sound much, so have any of you guys managed to open all/most, and what was your technique (and tell me your experiences)
#70
it does all sound interesting...to be fair. The question is, how far will this go?
#71
Welcome to this forum. You'll find it very informative

:-D
#72
Welcome...You'll find many topics....just dive in :-)
#73
We will never know for sure...but they have been conditioned differently (as your beliefs are by your subconscious, which is heavily influenced at a young age)
I belive they use the LOA on an unconscious level, for the majority of them, unless they are based in the self-improvement nich (as I keep hearing about celebrities and really famous people sufferring from depression and bad relationshops...)

But, on the other side, the big guns (like your Bill gates, Warren Buffets etc) seem to have a great philosophy on life...

...so one can't alway be too sure

BTW gaga is a great singer...if shes an alien, shes from the, 'higher realms'  :-D :-D :-D
#74
Just keep trying, and with practice, you will do it.

And once you do it, you will be relieved (and even elated, lol)

Yes, focused will and intent is your friend here. Thought = Action in the Astral!  :-) At first you will find you kind of "flit" around all over the place. It will be hard to stay in one spot, but with practice you will learn how to "deepen" and maintain your present scenario.
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Another tip is to be emotionally de-attach, or to take away the need.

Don't do anything in desperation, so to speak...sort of, 'passively' think of a location, and you will be there.

works for me all the time  :-D
