Welcome to Astral Chat! / Artist?
December 18, 2005, 09:14:15
yeah his paintings are more like channeled messages than actual pieces of art..

sure, its just the piece of flesh which seperates the nostrils.. just try to relax it completey and let whatever other muscles which connect to them (muscles around the top lip) relax also...
ive been having troublesome breathing habits which stem from having the roof of my mouth and cheeks tense, it seems the muscles here are attatched somehow to the lungs, and when i allow my cheeks to drop, im suddenly able to take deeper breaths..

you should try and make that part of your nose as vertical as possible to get the most out of gravity's effect on puling it down.

good luck!

most energetic blockages can be ressolved with either relaxing or realigning parts of the physical body, which means you dont really need to go to yoga retreats or obsessively use NEW tecniques...

for the throat problem, try this..

relax the part of your nose which seperates the nostrils (dont know its name) then tilt your head forward until that part of your nose connects to the muscles which go from the top of the center of your lip, to the middle nose muscles you just relaxed..

so there should be a straight line from the crevice of the top lip, to just below the brow.

remember though that old habits die hard..

Welcome to Astral Chat! / what do you think...?

sounds like you just need to develop your ability to focus/concentrate, try meditating by staring at a circle on a piece of paper or something.

all these negative thoughts i take it are from the self you dont want to associate yourself with but have to anyway coz its you lol... yeah, by strenghening your concentration you'll quicker be able to tame this runaway mind we all can have.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Cryokinesis

mortal kombat forums are this way..
http://www.totalmortalkombat.com/board/index.php

i really doubt you can control your body temp to such an extent, but i wouldnt be suprised if there were some yoga exercises which did this, i know doing breath of fire makes you hot internally, but i dont know of anything to make you cold...

i wonder if the second coming will start..

Welcome to Astral Chat! / david icke interview
November 26, 2005, 18:07:47
ok, theres a lot of stuff he says which are completely crackpot, but this interview in places, gave me that chest-dropping feeling where its like all your confused thoughts are suddenly lifted and you can relax because your not alone in thinking it- (like someone saying something youv been trying to say, or dont know how to), this happened a few times throughout, especially where he talks about vibrations going up to a level until they become still.-
which coincide with my own experiences of doing  tai chi on hawaiin baby woodrose seeds, where i ceased to be aware of where "I" ended and everything else began.

go here http://www.newsforthesoul.com/icke.htm  and scroll down to where it says "more audio" and listen to the march 2004 one (the first one) he talks about a LOT of the stuff which are discussed on this site..

the western medical world shuns pretty much anything related to chi and self healing.
even the most basic concepts need to be introduced before they can even start to realise the roots of illness. Do  they even aknoledge the existence of an energy body? not really..
so how long will we have to wait before a person diagnosed with cancer is taught certain breathing or NEW tecniques in hospital?

something has to *click* soon for eastern and western knowledge to merge and really take medicine into the next age, otherwise were just gonna be stuck with pompous know-all doctors and hard-as-concrete traditionalists.

dont think of god as some kind of personality who decides weather or not lifeforms go through pain or not...  its certainly not hurting us or giving it to us, cancer is just a fact of life, its neither good nor evil.

All things follow the laws of nature which probably includes "god".. if  god is some kind of superman who comes to the rescue of anyone whos in pain or trouble then were not really in control of ourselfs at all.
i beleive cancer is a result of ones thoughts and lifestyle being far out of synch with what the deeper self seeks/wants.

imagine a musician wanting really badly to become a success, but finds hes stuck in a dead end job and seeming to be far from what he wants in life... i think this inner conflict of what you are in contrast to what you want to be is the cause of cancer, the greater the gap between them the more prone you'll be of developing it.

"im just gonna walk the earth"

"oh your gonna be a hobo then?"

10 points for whoever gets it..

good luck to you man, id like to do the same but in just natural places like forests and mountains and pretend im aragorn from LOTR..
make sure you'll take what you need though, you dont wanna be stranded in the middle of the desert or anythin...

yeah channeled stuff can either be really interesting, like the seth material or just too silly to beleive, the the pleidian agenda, which was more funny than anything..

that rainbow bridge link seems a bit kooky, you can always tell coz of the amount of buzzwords they use without actually saying much..
#64
abraham = fake

get over it.

its just some guy doing what he can to make muslims seem like lunatics.

and why argue if he's for real? its obvious nothings gonna make him broaden his beleifs so your wasting your time.
#65
hmmm i think abraham might just be some random guy whos against muslims,  so hes come on here and played the part of a crazy zealot, all in the hope of turning people against muslims..

i think the guy behind abraham is pretending to be exactly what he hates most, so others will too and join his crusade against islam.

he just seems a bit to cliche-fanatic, like he's actually funny because he's so foolish LOL LOL !!! !111!! shift+1!! /jf*^"

if he's for real then he's a LONG way from home.

THE MORE RELIGIOUS WE ARE, THE LESS WE KNOW ABOUT GOD.

hi, this link was posted in the ikjewr's topic about ascention in the obe forums- but the things he was saying really struck something inside me, especially about "elitism". I liked how he was so down to earth about pretty much everything lol...

wow, the interview with stuart wilde you posted was amazing, i was really inspired by the stuff he says about our shadows bringing us down and eventually killing us through diseases like cancer, im gonna make another topic to post that link if ya dont mind :D
thanks!

lol @ marlinya
i tried the 3 sets of 7 but found i was still too lazy :P
now im comfortable with doing all 5 eleven times, then doing them again 10 times...
but yeah i agree theyre a lot more potent than simple yoga asanas, i think tibetan#4 is the most powerful..
as for the tai chi you should go back to it!!! atleast learn the form if you havent already..  once you learn it, its always going to be with you if you need it.. learning tai chi was one of the things im most greatful for coming across in life..
#69
no probs ;), its really stopped being fun and exciting for me now, i pretty much go to the same mental dead-ends each time. I do like a smoke to watch a movie though hehe
#70
a lot of your thought energy wont be dispelled in random stoner-type thought trains only to be forgotten...
your mind will be more lucid and lighter.
Im in the same boat as you, i actually feel higher now when i havent had a joint as to when i do. Doing it everyday is really destructive to everything relating to building yourself up.
doing energy work when your stoned is good to feel sensations, but bad in being able to control the flow, force and direction.
stay sober man coz your really gonna enjoy energy work more when you know what your doing instead of the more trippy feel behind doing it on weed, which again you mostly forget..

Welcome to Book Reviews! / Book of lies
November 08, 2005, 20:15:49
hey id love to know what its about then :D or what are some of your interpretations??
, im not saying i wouldnt like to understand it, just that i find it frustrating that i cant hehe..
#72
your not alone queen, i still have these problems..

you really just need to keep at it, then once you realise your mind is still, the chattering mind becomes a helpful tool to know if your doing what your supposed to be doing.  You knda have to keep switching from chattering mind to still mind for a good while until your able to overide the chattering mind.
A good way of shutting up your mind is to exhale as hard as possible, then for a few moments being able to recognise your "still" mind will become easier.. its what worked for me.

good luck with it :)
#73
you shouldnt think it's obligatory to beleive in an orthodox religion, when you know these are contrived and false. Listen to your heart and your head and look around you, and believe in your own conclusions as theyre just as valid as anyone else's, religion blinds you to the realities of life.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / 3 Years Sober
October 31, 2005, 13:16:15
yeah when i started smoking weed about 5 years ago i always wanted it when i never had any, then i got to smoke pretty much every day so it just became boring and depressing, but i still do it.
i light up a joint knowing that it will make me more miserable but stupidly i carry on. Only recently have i been able to go for a few nights without one and ive just felt a whole lot better lol..., as if the mashed up jugsaw of my mind is beggining to be put back into place.
the thing is, if i didnt start to smoke it, theres lots of other things i probably wouldnt have gotten into or discovered, like new friends, new music and activities..
im not sure about choosing our hurdles though, im not even sure about this whole choosing what we face in life thing- before we incarnate, its all really new-age ish.  It seems unlikely to me that everyone whos ever been addicted to a drug "chose" to go down that road.

heres what i do which works for me...

to meditate-
silent room (usually at night when everyones in bed)
i just watch my breath and focus on the blackness behind my eyelids, if you start to hear your thoughts then you'v lost focus.

raising your energy IS a form of meditation as it requires you to focus on one thing, so you dont really have to distinguish them as 2 seperate practises.

theres loads of different variations of raising ur energy, like physical exercise, chi kung or n.e.w. you can find the n.e.w. tutorials at www.astraldynamics.com

i find sitting in the garden and looking at the stars at night is a good way of ridding my mind of all the trivial crap that takes it up all day..
