The Dalai Lama mentions po-wa meditation as a means to "leave the body and return to it". I guess it might be similar to what we call AP/OBE then.

Mostly, if I understand it right, it serves them as a preparation for the "real thing" - death. It's interesting that he mentions at the end of the video the possibilty to transfer consciousness to another body - would have liked to hear more about this topic from him.

majour ka said what it was:
"dedicates time to dumping body awareness and focuses on the spirit self"
AKA: Meditation. Learn it. Live it.

To help others grow spiritually, quite a selfless act indeed. Perhaps I will live for thousands of years, I would hate to watch so many people repeat their mistakes and be forced to live in a lower region of f3 in fear and suffering.

Perhaps I wasn't being clear in what I wanted to see what was possible with known methods of training.
I would like to be able to sense the living spirit of other living people (perhaps animals too) and in sensing that spirit I can tell in what direction they are and perhaps the distance as well. For example, I'd like to get to the point where I can close my eyes, and sense how many people are around me and how far they are away and in which direction. Kind of like a spirit map in my mind.
If I'm not being clear enough, then let me know. But I think I got the point across.

I think of the voices as a barrier we cross when we Phase/OBE. The sounds and voices could be the Collective Mind or Thoughts of many people around you. If the theory of we are all one is true then that would make perfect sense.

Very cool. This is a big step for me.
Thank you both so much. I am making headway.

Hi,
@ kurt,
It may seem subjective but when you experience several clairvoyant scenes and ALL of them happen exactly to the finest detail, your perspective certainly changes for ever.
The nasties you have been party to were definately hideous and I'm sure very real. I've been to places too where the walls were made of trapped souls and once they grab hold of you that's your end. They all were bad, nasty people and that's theirs because they believed it to be their damnation. Its a horrid place and there's even worse than that. The pit was one where I never went to but it exists in some form as a punishing belief system generated by those who fear satan. Do you not feel this when meeting entities, search their minds using telepathy and you'll understand that. You have the experience I'm sure. Look to yourself as a god like entity and the dark ones stay well away. On the other side of the proverbial coin is the place of pure white light. The entities there despise humans. They hate any war mongering forms and regard us as slime (primordial). They read me instantly and I couldn't even see or feel anything of them, totally locked out and they are the only ones ever that I have not been able to read. They also impressed in me Id never return and I can't get back there too.
The physical and all our knowledge on everything amounted to one grain of sand in a vast desert. This is the reality of it. Its so IMMENSE the more you see the less you actually know.
We are gods children is a saying with some meaning moreso metaphorically.
Fear nothing and nothing can scare you.
That's the beauty of beating nightmares, you learn to deal with it.
Hope this helps you understand to look at the bigger picture.

You are activating your 3rd Eye Chakra and exerting intense energy into that region. I used to have a strong feeling in that area as well, sometimes so strong that it lasted for days after the Phase Session. It will calm like all the other things Astral related symptoms with practice. Congratulations you are showing positive signs of advancement.
Safe Travels

After a few hours of being awake the next morning I began to wonder if I was actually hearing talking and what was being said. There was also some other sounds that just sounded plain weird.
Either way, is there any way to drown out these sounds? I feel like I'm so close but those sounds creeped me out. I'm gonna try again tonight, sometimes I can get it to happen by telling myself it's gonna happen before I go to sleep, or by sleeping in a certain position.

It is possible to become possessed, or channel beings that temporarily inhabit your body.

This technique is a combination of pranayama, om japa and the first part of shambhavi mudra. Perhaps you would be interested in yoga if you do not already practice. Here is a helpful website just in case you are interested:

It is a pointless debate... consciousnesses could easily be finite. There might be "physical" and "non-physical" planes of existance. You might not be here and there simultaneously. And "places" may exist regardless of our Focuses of Attention. Prove me wrong.
Quote from: ayearhasgone on December 07, 2011, 13:39:47
Because consciousness is infinite. There is no separation in consciousness. There is no "physical" and "non-physical" (though it helps my poor little brain to make that distinction). I am both Here and There simultaneously. There are no "places," only Focuses of Attention.
The other day I visited a friend non-physically. She was sitting under a tree reading a book and we had a nice conversation, I received verifiable information I would not have otherwise known. But in the "old" model of consciousness, this would be impossible, because she was shopping at the mall when this happened. It reminds me of one of Bruce Moen's partnered explorations-- his friend said she would be happy to explore with him, but also said she wouldn't remember because she was at home watching a soap opera. This is called Mind-Split.
When meeting with my I/There, I encounter many different lives and aspects of myself, including future lives. There is no separation in consciousness. You could go your entire life thinking that you have separated from your body, because it certainly looks that way, but in reality that's not what's happening.
At any rate, I digress. Point is, the only ones who have encountered dark entities, are the ones who believe in them in the first place. In the Non-Physical, thoughts are things.

Yes, in fact that was what the CIA's remote viewing program was all about. This program ran back in the 1990's under various code names ("Stargate" was the best known code name.) CIA trained remote viewers would psychically spy on the Russians and other countries to try to learn classified secrets. ALSO, the remote viewers were told to RV the planet Mars and the Moon for Alien Spacecraft and other activities.
So if this CIA RV program is still in existence then no doubt somebody will soon be remote viewing several possible habitable planets to see if life already exists there.

I was able to download the original project stargate RV training manuals, as well as the SRI training manuals. Lyn Buchanan's CRV courses were the ones I had the most success with.
