By Goingslow :

This topic is way too long.

Are you kidding?  It should be longer!  Not that I want to egg on the biggest topic ever, but that it's so intruiging that it must continue!

You know it's good when it's made into a sticky.  That's a tell-tale sign right there.

Ok here's what I think about this all...

First - Adrian was simply saying to you, Mirador, to look before you leap (in a sense).  IE, read before you opinionate.

Second - True, there is a small threat on that occasion of small children.  But that's why this is a forum.  Anything they want to ask about it they CAN, and they DID!

Third - I do think that we should have one post to summarize it all.  Please don't nobody make a new topic.

Not to get off topic or anything, I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

A few minutes ago, this topic just became the biggest ever on these forums, surpassing "KI Ball pictures", which has 222 posts.

What's even MORE incredible, this topic started less than a month ago!!!  This is unmatchable.

Thanks again to Mayatnik for making this topic.  :D

~Squeek

Ps - this is not the record of most read topic.  the other one is, with over 14,250 reads.  I'm proud to be the FIRST person to post on that!! (besides the founder)

LOL Tisha and Frank!  Right on the ball on those jokes.  I've heard a spin on some of those before, but hearing them again is always funny :D

I'm not much for good story jokes, but in my times chatting, some people say some really funny stuff!  Here's a few.

"If u ever want to insult someone, walk a mile in their shoes, then by the time u insult them, ur a mile away and wearing their shoes!"

Remember : If your chicken starts barking, you better throw a clown at the President.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.

Remember kids! Drink your school, stay in drugs, and don't do milk!

I have friends...You just can't see them.

(Guy 1) You're a guy, right? (Guy 2) not on sundays.

Contrary to what most people say, the most dangerous animal in the world is not the lion or the tiger or even the elephant. It's a shark riding on an elephant's back, just trampling and eating everything they see.

(someone) get up
(someone) get on up
(someone) get up
(someone) get on up
(someone) and DANCE!!
*bot dances :D\-<
*bot dances :D|-<
*bot dances :D/-<
(someone else) I'm going to become rich and famous after i invent a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Mary had a little lamb, a little toast, a little jam, a little pizza and some cake, some French fries and a chocolate shake, a little burger on a bun. And that's why Mary weighs a ton.

*Someone hands Squeek a cookie *Squeek wonders if someone ever read "If you give a mouse a cookie" (someone) I did <Squeek> Oh. <Squeek> Can I have some milk?

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. (i like this one :D)

Some of those are from a good quote site.  Like 3.  I wont post it because some of the quotes there are pretty....bad....

Hope you had a laugh!!!

Just to reply, Mirador,

Not everyone wants to up in rank.  I noticed sooo many people going for the upper ranks all of the sudden.  I hope I didn't cause this.

To reply to your statement Tao, life is a complicated thing, and all of your questions have multiple responses.  I guess I'll say mine.

I have no idea where we come from or why we are born...

We are here for whatever reason we are here.  If you want to be the president, that's why you're here, to be president.  Individual answers are the only answers for that one.

We are going anywhere we want.  Changing the present changes the future.

Now a huge lightning storm approaches so I get off the internet.  I shall return when it ends.

Thanks to the people that said I'm the coolest.

Links - I thought it was about the shadow link in the Water Temple in Ocarina of time.  That was a hard boss.  He did whatever you did.

kodemaster - I thought yours was from an old magazine I used to read.  I guess not :D

I'm glad this topic was made :X

Very good so far!  Let's keep em coming!

This is another one, this time by Linkin Park.  You won't find THIS song on any of their albums, but man is it good.

Linkin Park - Dedicated

This is dedicated to the kids,
Dedicated to wherever music lives,
Dedicated to those, tired of the same old same,
Dedicated to the people advanced in the game.

(What's Real), Is the kids who know that something's wrong.
(What's Real), Is the kids who think they don't belong.
(What's Real), Is the kids who have nowhere to run, who are hiding in the shadows, waiting for the sun.

This is dedicated to the kids,
Dedicated to wherever music lives,
Dedicated to those, tired of the same old same,
Dedicated to the people advanced in the game.

(What's Real) Everybody who doesn't feel safe.
(What's Real) Everybody who knows they're outta place.
(What's Real) Everybody with nowhere to run, who hides in the shadows, waiting for the sun.

That is the last chorus of the song.  I put in both because I'm like that.

I learned about it the exact same time I came here last October (I was 16).  I still haven't done it yet ( [:P] ) But I know I will someday.  It initally scared me because of all the hollywood hogwash that filters into my brain daily :x  I was afraid of the whole possession deal.  I didn't want that.

~Squeek

PS - If you want to be taken seriously, you should consider using proper grammar.  Here's the most common mistakes I've run across

You're - Your.

You're = NOT POSSESSIVE! It breaks into You Are.  So in your line, you said, "I suggest you change you are avatar."  That doesn't make any sense.

There - Their - They're

They're = NOT POSSESSIVE!! - This one breaks into They Are.  Pleeease don't use it as possessive.  It's my pet peeve.  The easiest way not to is to break it down when you want to use it.

Their = POSSESSIVE!!! - This is the possessive version.  Use it (and spell it) correctly.

There - LOCATION!! - Over there!  Not here, THERE!  Location.

There's (THERE IS!) also the ITS / It's.  Its is possessive, it's is it is.  And many people are beginning to spell sense with a c.  No C.  Thanks for your time.

Can you beleive the PS was bigger than the post itself?  Freaky

I got a name, but I'm really not sure it's 100% accurate....I'm not gonna post the name here because I'm still not certain.

I started with a simple "Is it alright If I ask you your name?" and to that I got the go ahead.  So I went on (Used my left hand this time)  It started out the exact same as the previous occasion, the same first 3 letters.  When I got the last 2, I didn't really think it worked as a whole....And it sounds like a joke on my part (the name that I got correlating to my nickname)

I'll tell ya's later.  Right now I got some birthday presents to play with.

Peace Out Ya'll!

You sure she won't be offended with me going (hold on a minute, I's gotsa right this down)?  Seems to me like she would.

Tonight should be fun (11 pm here).  There's a HUGE thunderstorm overhead.  I'm gonna go outside and yell at it.  See if that works.

...Do people enjoy completely ignoring stuff I write?  Because it really seems that way...

Finally take the time to write me a long post in a pretty blue color with the coolness font...  Ah don't worry bout it :D

Ok look here's my opinion on this all...

Nobody wants to see a show where the things that happen are always invisible.  Especially the coolest part of a show.  People like anime because it gives them somebody with superhuman abilities (or just alot of money *COUGH BATMAN COUGH* (Boy i should get that cough checked out)

I was thinking today about impossiblities.  And how nothing is really impossible.  If you have the slightest glimmer of doubt hidden in your brain about what you are going to do, it won't work.  You have to read about it and PROVE to yourself that there's a 100% chance you can do it.

Yes, I did just say you can do it.  I know many others will reply to this, but hear me out, I mean I put a lot of thought into this.  Think about the first time you went on a roller coaster.  You most likely had a million questions about the ride.  Can i fall out, what's it feel like, what's gonna happen, etc.  Your parents would most likely answer the safety one, putting your mind at ease.  This would lead to you riding the ride, and loving it.

Same goes with impossibilities.  Except that things that have been deemed impossible are set in our minds as NOT POSSIBLE!  Getting that out will be very hard.

I gotta know how you guys remember all of your questions! Especially Parmenian who seems to post 25+ ... I can remember a good 3-5 from last night I asked.

If anybody out there was logging my success or something, here's a lil update.  Yay.

Couple days ago I started to get a name.  I learned it is 5 letters long.  I learned the first 3 letters, but I will probably ReDo that because I confused MYSELF asking them :X  (I'm thinking making 6 rows and 5 columns...then saying, is it it rows 1-3?  Etc.  That'll be very precise.)

I think I asked if this was my own personal guide and I got a yes on it...   I try not to dig into their own personal stuff as much as my own problems.  Space it out sorta.

I'll TRY to write down what I can...But you gotta tell me how you do it parm!  :D

The "you talk, it types" system was flawed from day 1.  I used it once just to mess around, and not only was it abou 500x slower than me just typing, it makes SO many mistakes.

The ideal method would be to convert thoughts into text.  You can think faster than you can ANYTHING.

Retired - Tom.  Tom was always there, inputting his own words without taking sides.  He never took part in arguments, yet seemed to be able to stop them with one simple post.  He has so much knowledge and information to share with everybody here.  It was a sad day when he posted "I feel like I've been spending too much time here, too many posts.  I'm going to take a break for a while."  We all kinda figured "Awhile" was a few days, a weeks tops.  It's been months..

Active - Adrian.  Keeping it real all the time, Stickying the things that are most relevant, Moderating at times of need, and just keeping this site up and running all the time.  Thanks man!  :D

Having an open mind about some things is also a good idea.  It's not like someone like Adrian to lie.  Knowing the line between impossible and improbable is one of the best things you can know in this day and age.
