One thing I like about your experience is it seems you stay open to interpretation of things. You're probably able to experience new/strange things like this because you're open to it instead of looking to compare it to others' experiences or expect a particular thing to happen.

I've had a number of experiences without a body, just a point of consciousness. Maybe it comes with phasing, as that's my preferred technique. Personally, I LOVE the freedom in this experience and wish they could all be like that. But I don't know if it's similar to yours or not.

Yes I guess I am very open to these new experiences. It is like a whole new world to me. When I had my first computer (quite some time ago), I had these games. One of them was called an adventure game. You were a little character walking through strange houses or a cave and you had to give instructions to go further into the story and you had to really look around, try out anything, walk through every space there was because it might have something you had to use. I would type: pick up stick. The answer: "nothing happens". Then: hit sorcerer with stick, "nothing happens". and so forth.

It feels like I am doing the same thing now (but this time for real!) , exploring and experiencing. It is like being a child who sees all these new exciting things in the world for the first time. I also love the freedom in phasings but also in projections, if something doesn't work I try something else. I intend to do a lot more exploring. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and think:"Hey, I have been very busy tonight!"

Thank you Grey for explaining the difference. When I become more experienced in obe's and phasings I will try remote viewing probably. It does sound very interesting but for now I will use my energy for obe's and phasings because I have still a lot to learn and experience. 

Well, I don't really phase often, 5 times so far.

In that case, this particular phasing occurrence you describe was different only because of your method of travel?

Yes, the method of moving around was different. You are probably correct,that it is the way of travelling that is changing. Now that you have mentioned it, my obe's are also changing at the moment. And I started to have WILD's and more FA's and I have had an obe from a LD for the first time as well.

Hi everyone, I would like to share an experience that I had this week. It looked like a phasing but it was a bit different from the other ones I've had. I became aware in the middle of it and I was in a city, but not a very nice part of it. I saw mostly backsides of houses and buildings and bits of ground with grass and weeds. I didn't have a body but it was like I was a point of consciousness with 2 eyes. I noticed that if I looked to the left, I would go to the left in a straight line. If I looked to the right I moved to the right. I became aware of this reaction , it made me think of these video-thumbnails on the internet that also move like that when you put the mouse over them.

So I wanted to try to go straight ahead. I looked straight ahead of me, but nothing happened, I stayed put. Then I figured out that perhaps I had to focus on a point in the distance, so I looked at a high building, and I did move forward. On the way to the building I saw this small grassfield and decided to go under the ground and see what it was like. I dived into the ground and that was not very wise because ofcourse it was black. I wanted to go up again but it didn't work because I didn't have a point above the ground to focus on and I woke up. Still, it was very interesting, but I wonder if it was a phasing. Or could it have been remote viewing? (I don't know much about that). In phasings I can move where and how I want with my will and here I had to use this "technique".

I completely understand your point. I'm skeptical of everything that seems to come from outside of myself during an AP. The few times I've communicated to what I might be considered a guide they've told me: "you already know, look in yourself, you have the answer..." etc. For me, figuring things out on my own seems to be a part of the path.

That was an interesting read and thanx for posting it.
A couple quick comments. You mention having had OBEs when you were younger and thinking at that time that they were only dreams. That hits home to me because that is Exactly what I experienced.  Beginning at about the age of 7 or 8 (maybe even younger) and continuing until about age 14 or 15, I had many OBEs but never knew what they where. (Back then, in the late 1960s and early 1970s OBEs had hardly been heard of). Any idea as to how many projections you experienced back then? I'm kinda curious because I don't know how many OBEs I had back then, it might have been a few dozen, it could have 500 or more???

Secondly concerning your spirit guide. I've read a lot of OBE reports where a spirit guide takes a person somewhere out of body but doesn't explain to them a) why there are there or b) what they are supposed to do there or c) what 'lesson' they are supposed to learn? So I get a bit suspicious of the whole spirit guide thing. Why doesn't your spirit guide confide in you about where he/she is taking you?? Obviously you must trust your spirit guide but isn't a healthy dose of skepticism a good idea here?

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure how many obe's I have had but I estimate I had an average of 1 a month for several years. When I moved into my own house they were still there because I remember that I was puzzled that the ceilings I was floating against matched the "reality. The one in my present house is slanted. I think I must have had approx. 96 obe's before I moved and after that the frequency diminished, but I think I must have had at least 200 until today.
Sometimes I thought at the time that I was really doing things like feel through walls and floating around but after I woke up I thought:" No, it must have been a dream."

About the spirit guides, I have already wondered why in so many obe stories spirit guides were not mentioned. It is indeed weird that they would take me and not explain anything. On the other side, I never asked. I was a bit aware but not that much and let me take away like a gullible sheep... I have had one other obe where I was taken, but in that one I became aware in the middle of flight, and it was very short because the high speed woke me up. (The feeling in my stomach caused by the speed). But at that time I didn't have the (gut)feeling that it was a spirit guide but a sort of a companion/friend. But now, that I have much more awareness in my obe's I will certainly take other decisions and ask questions if the same thing would happen again. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I thought I'd share another obe which happened at January the 13th of this year. I have always thought that I was having obe-dreams but now I know they were real obe's all the time. They started when i was about 17 years old and the first ones I remember were that I would "wake up" and found myself floating against the ceiling of my bedroom and after that I just lost awareness and remembered them in the morning. I just thought that they were strange dreams.

Later on I also started to feel with my hands throught the walls and floors and it was very weird that I felt the texture while reaching through and sometimes I would feel nails. I never told anyone about these "dreams". And also I sometimes didn't have them for longer periods of time. They started again in 1997 but very rarely. In 2008 they became more frequent but I still could't believe they were real obe's. Not until I had an obe this year where I felt the seperating of my body and the return and then I knew how an obe felt.

OBE
I was in my bed and felt myself going down through the mattrass, I was having a projection. My spiritguide was with me, he said I shouldn't be afraid. I didn't see him but I felt his hand on my back. At first it was like we went through wormholes, really fast. After that it was like we went through all kinds of layers of spheres. There was a lot of light and movement and there were many colors, very beautiful. Suddenly it stopped and we were in a place and I was put on a chair. It looked like a small cosy church.

There was a man at the right of me looking at some sheets of paper, and a woman. They seemed to be preparing for something. Then I heard an announcement that there would be an interview with me and they called my full name and where I lived. I didn't like that at all. The man was some sort of radio person and was going to interview me. The church was the studio. I had absolutely no idea what he would interview me about. But I was upset and nervous and I got faint fits several times until I fell off the chair and blacked out...

I have also had this light and stil have it everytime I meditate. Robert Bruce mentions this in Astral Dynamics. he says that it is caused by the brow center that strobes accumulated energy upward into the crown center. If you have the book, it is on page 185. It could be that you had astral awareness at that moment. So you were in the astral but stil in your physical body. That might have also been the reason that you could see and feel that energy. And the astral awareness ended when you woke up. I had a similar experience this morning, someone gave me a hug (not in the physical) and it woke me up immediately.

Hi Grey, I started a journal for my dreams in 1995. Stopped from 2002 until 2006 and started again in 2006 (don't remember why I stopped all those years). I do write everything down, it indeed helps to improve your recall. 

Yes, I have had 12 OBE's since August 22, and 3 phasings. I have posted 2 OBE's and one phasing. I know now that I have had many more OBE's, but because I just remembered them in the morning, I have always thought they were dreams. Here are the ones I posted, thank you for your interest.

So I dove into the screen and ended up between several children, toddlers who were sitting outside on a small square. It was in a town I know so it was not in some magical place that I sometimes see screens of. These children seemed to be from a nursery and had their time to sit outside in the sun. The square was next to a house and it was a normal street with houses and gardens. I sat down next to a toddler and put my arm around it, which I think is strange because I know I was just a point of consciousness, but whenever I needed it I suddenly had a body. I sat there for a while watching the children and then decided to go down the street, to practice moving around. I didn't have a body then and I could move fast to and fro in the street.

I then wanted to go straight up into the sky, but strange enough that didn't work. Then I flew back to the end of the street and there was a low building with a long corridor with a lot of windows. I went in and flew with quite a speed through the corridors, then there were doors, hallways, escalators, people. It looked like an airport. I looked for certain gates as if I had a ticket, and wanted to fly somewhere. I wanted to go to London, to visit some very good friends who live in England. I came to the right gate, it wasn't open yet but the stewardesses were already there also waiting. Then I thought to myself: "Why am I going by plane? I can easily zap myself to England." And then I woke up.  

Thanks for sharing Timandra. I prefer phasing over the traditional way of separation. It's much more comfortable and smooth for me. And like you said, the landscapes and locations can be surprisingly beautiful sometimes.

Yes it certainly went smoothly. And a big difference from AP: it was light and clear! 

Congratulations. How did you induce the phasing? Tell me more about experience, please. It sounds quite interesting  .

Hi everyone.
This morning I had my first induced phasing. I have no one else to tell it to, so I hope someone will like to read it here on the Pulse. I have had a phasing before where I became aware when I was already out. But this time I saw this phasing-screen, there were little children in it so I decided to try to go there. The screen appeared and disappeared a few times. When it was there a bit longer, I really "stretched my consciousness" into that screen. I have read that description but I never understood it until now. My consciousness was like a piece of bubblegum divided in 2 pieces with the thread in between to connect the two pieces. One piece was in my head and the other one in the screen. Then I felt a pull and the piece in my head bounced to the other piece and they were joined together and I was in the screen!

I hope I can do it again because I have seen some beautiful places in some of these screens where I really want to go. At this place I played with the children for a while and then explored the surroundings, experimented with moving around and ended up on an airport.
