The way I am seeing it is that you would no longer share the values of your society. Or maybe it is just my society being in the USA and being so materialistic. Materialism is promoted so heavily here because it is our driving force behind our economy. People are so attached that I would think it would be hard to relate well with many people. That is not to say that you cannot interact with them or live among them. But I guess if you reach true enlightenment it would not matter?

I think the only problem you would really have being enlightened would be that you are no longer aligned with your society/culture which is most likely still based on attachment.

Not on this thread but I have seen people that look like someone I know. That is always freaky.

I don't think Adrian is human, hence why he retains the secrecy.

Is it better now that you have gotten some sleep, assuming you have slept some time in the past two days?

You can try a grounding exercise to ground your energy. That should help if it is energy related.

Maybe what this means is that by judging others you are really judging yourself. You are projecting your own insecurities onto others and trying to deal with them outwardly on other people. This causes many problems in that one you are not dealing with your own insecurities and two you are causing conflict with other people. So judging is not a very productive thing in which to invest your time and energy. When one stops judging they are no longer in conflict with everything they try to judge and thus find peace.

Life is not really that good at 5, you just remember the good times. At 5 you have to go to bed early, you have to eat whatever your parents give you, and you have to do whatever your parents tell you to do. Life starts as soon as you move out on your own. Then, if you feel like having ice cream for dinner you can. You can stay up as late as you want and do pretty much whatever suits you. People say how high school or their younger days were the best. Pfft I am enjoying my freedom and privacy way too much right now. The secret is to stay young at heart.

Shawn, I never thought much about astrology either until I did some reading on it. I do think that it has influence on us, how or why I don't really know. But there is a lot more to a person than just their sun sign, though the sun sign is a major aspect of one's personality.

Thank you for the info, Nick. I had an idea about the Free Software movement, something I like about it as well. I would check up on it every now and then. It seems like it has come along pretty well, so I would like to check it out now a bit more. So I appreciate pointing me to the sites. What are some good books you mentioned?

I did not know Thomas Edison did research on this. That would be an interesting read. Maybe a search on the net.

This phenomenon is talked about in an ebook on this site called "A Lawyer  Presents A Case For The Afterlife", or something like that. It has been awhile since I have read this so I do not remember if the author gives sources for his research on this. He makes it sound like this is very easy and that a group of scientists have been doing research with great success.
