Maybe it shows my contlempations[], but I was thinking that if there is sex in the astral world, can there be births?. Can a female spirit concieve ?. I have for long time believed that in MY heaven there is sex children births etc. This is what I believe the Bible supports, but how about the astral worlds. Anyone

It seems to me that Christian Churches and maybe individuals are so afraid of wildfire that they allow no fire at all. In their attempt to "Chose good and eshew evil" they have become paranoid and adopted the attitude of If we cant understand it throw it out. This is the problem with the Churches they are spiritually dead and have become the true persecutors of people who seek the truth. Chances are that if Jesus came back they would crucify him as the Jews did . They have spent the last 2000 years constructing a system by which they can claim to be following God and be righteous without having to mess with the details. They live as if they believe that God is dead.The Bible says " they honor me with their words but in their heart they are far from me". They heap leaders opon themselves who become blinded by their own ego and lead others astray into judmentalism. The Bible clearly states that Prophecy  and intrepretation, healing, discernment exorcism etc etc are part the Christian Faith, but they choose to negate this. Many seem to have been decieved and are in strong delusion, and the problem is that everyone sees it exept themselves."there is none as blind as those that will not see". They convert with a sword like Allanon beating people with words and sometimes actual violence, but the only converts they get are people like themselves , who also want to use this "sword of righteousness" (as they think it to be). The abused becomes the abuser. Whole denominations are built on this harshness pride and very distorted twisting of the scriptures, Jehowas witness, Church of God and many many fundemental groups. They see themselves as flaming prophets (like in the old testament) calling down fire opon the enemies of God, instead of the humble sweet soft and patient shepherds they should be. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. Beware least you be of those who lead others astray for it would be better for you that a millstone be hanged around your neck and that you be cast into the sea, than if you should hurt one of His sheep. Beware when the world speaks well of you.

Being a Christian myself and reasonally well experienced in exorsism, I have experienced many fellow believers afflicted ,if you will by neg attacks. For a while I pondered this and have come to the conclusion that there are 2 kinds of attacks, one direct possession which I believe cannot happen to a Born again Christian, and oppression which I have seen many many times. The difference between a strong opression and mild posession is very small but I believe it is there. I think we as Christians who believe ourselves to continually be forgiven for daily sin get very complacent and take advantadge of this, dabbeling in mostly lust related things. Pornography and sexual perversions, greed, and alcohol abuse seem to be major areas where Christians are attacked. The problem we have is that we get lazy we do not accept the fact that these Negs (spirits)have inroad through these things, they weaken us and we throufgh this ignorance lay ourselves open for these things. Another very powerful neg that seem to have multiplied itself and is affecting religion today in general but specifically Christians is a Spirit of Selfrighteousness. I believe this has to be a very powerful Demon prince who uses things like pride self ego and the mind to gain acces to entire churches and groups.

Well since I am staying on here in the forum I might as well make some comments Ha. I had a funny experience this morning while meditating. I have been thinking about ......Absolute truth. It seems to me that there has to be such a thing. If not there would be Chaos, and there ins no chaos in the physical or the spiritual. While meditating on this the following thoughts came to me. It was a bit like a "muddle of thoughts" but sort of became clear as I allowed them acces.

There is a tendancy in the forum and among people in new age circles in general, to think that the physical world and the spiritual/astral plane is ONLY a product of your own beliefs. According to this school of thought varying spiritual entities you might meet are a product of your own belief in them, or the sum of your fears, soo...if you choose to disbelieve they should then disappear!! This is a big mistake, as there are Demons there are Angels and there is a God and there is a Devil. Certain truths are absolute......think about that. Some even take that to the physical plane and say there is no such thing as sickness its all in your mind. This also happens in Christian circles where people claim to be healed when they are not. My first wife threw away her glasses and walked around blind as a bat believing herself to be healed and "holding on" as she called it. This is just plain and simple spiritual pride, thinking more highly about yourself , your faith or abilities than you should. Many are suffering spiritual battles in the astral because they have gotten involved with spiritual entities they thought they could handle, thinking them to be only a fiction of their imagination only to find they were in way over their head. I think it is important we all realise we and the way we see things are not the center of the universe. There was a time when people believed the earth was the center of the physical world, only to later be proven wrong. The sun does not orbit the earth. The "biggie" and the most important thing we should all learn or that would be a very useful thing, is to learn to differentiate between the real and the imagined. This is true in the astral, the physical as well as in our own personal lives. We who are older know all to sure how youth think themselves to be immortal and live lives of extreme danger only sometimes to realise that they are not. Youth beware. Christians live under the notion that they are so close to God that they are always right about everything so loving and as a result become intolerable condesending and push people away from their faith, and people in this forum become so ...openminded that they choose to believe things that are entirely wrong, listening to voices that decieve and following paths that lead only to pain and suffering, and not the bliss full astral worlds they had hoped for. What do you all think??

Well I will probably be signing off from the forum and felt like at least explaining why. I have posted since may and read a fair amount of comments but all in all I am having some serious doubts about the forum as a way to learn much. I have several problems and apologize in advance for offending anyone. I realise most of you will probably just say "well bye, suit your self" and thats fair too.

My main concern is that a lot of counsel comes from people with very little life experience , little astral insight  very clever words and sometimes a lot of stars. I find it problematic that members attain status solely based on how much they write!!I do realise that we are all free to listen to what we want but find it confusing and more work to have to sort out the good from the bad. Theories are plentyfull and often based on .....nothing! The level of many discussions seem very immature at the least and downright wierd at the most.

My second problem is that many here, are people I would not want to hang with in real life. People who adhere to very destructive and negative world views and I believe it is possible to be "corrupted by the company one keeps". There also seem to be a lot of pride and self agrandishment and feels wrong for me.

It seems that the forum is alike to what is encountered in the astral. A bunch of people all thinking that they know "the way", and all wanting to give their 10 cents worth at all cost. I believe it is very possible or even likely to be led astray from ones path by listening to such a amount of different opinions, a bit like the blind leading the blind. I would like to thank some of you for your kind words and helpful and wise words, some of you, I feel should think pray or whatever they do before they open their big mouth and spout off, and others .......what you sow you will reap.!!!

In any case it has been interesting and I have enjoyed these few months, and ........I got 2 stars.

I did some Martial arts when I was younger but stopped as I felt it was changing me!!!. I started like so many in an attempt to be able to protect myself...in reality driven by FEAR, as I think most do. However over the time I found I became harder and more proud and unfeeling. It was as if the ability to hurt someone appealed to my lower nature. I never did get very experienced, but had a lot of friends who kept up their interest. Most have developed a very strong obsession with violence in different forms, weapons etc especially knives swords etc and generally speaking have become very agressive, but in a very overbearing way.It is not that they run around hurting folks, but they seem to be in a very closed universe where their last resort is to use violence, or agression to solve problems, rather that reason. The wish I had and I assume they also once might have had, to just become more confident have ,  it seems , turned to pride. Is it possible that they have picked up neg attachments and subsequent influences from this interest and hobby.

It seems that a lot of people believe Demons to be real, and also Angels. Some believe that there is such a being as God, now, how about the...Devil!!!. I think that I am concluding that he must be real too and not just the sum of everyones fears, your own subconsious fear or whatever . If he is real does he have a plan and if he does what is it. I have met angels in real life 2 times and they were helping me, I realise demons hinder, but what is the big picture...anyone??

I was wondering the other day if it would be possible for negs to use this site as a channel to travel and spread. It seems that most people agree that negs can sometimes spread through shared experiences such as certain movies, music etc and it seems possible that this would extend through the net. I mentioned before that I always pray before starting up the computer, does anyone have any experiences with this.

I think I know what the difference is in the physical!! However what about our spirit. It seems our spirits also are controlled by gender division. This is another reason I have a question with reincarnation. Are we reborn bouncing back and forth between the two? Also how about the entities in the spiritworld??. It seems to me that angels are also gender divided, it talks about in the Bible that "the sons of God looked on the women on earth and thought they were fair and came in unto them" and had kids that turned into Giants.It seems that according to RB those sex-sucker-torpedo-things I forget the name is also male and female. I do not think it is consistant with nature that we change our sex. In other words I see that nowhere. I realise that some obscure hermafrodite snail etc do but it is not the rule and seem to be for reasons of survival. My spirit is male and I cannot imagine (that actually means nothing but anyway) me becoming female in a next life!!It seems that there is a certain order in nature and any attempt to upset the balance throws things into confusion. It seems that the balance is very delicate. Homosexuality seems also to be somewhat abnormal in the animal kingdom allthough I heard about some monkeys where it does occur. I realise this is a very sensitive subject especially for the many politically correct americans, but is there not a lot more selfishness and lust (=bad karma?) in homosexual circles? I ask as I do not know. It seems to be against the natural way of things. Now remember this is only questions and not meant as slander. I have meet many very sweet homosexuals so it is not meant as a attempt to stigmatize a group of people, but rather a behaviour pattern, and if the things we do in this has a meaning and effect, and it seems to be the case no matter if one adheres to beliefs of one life or many, then we should also be able to question our own behaviour and admit if it is leading us in the wrong directions. I think there are a lot of emotions at play here and realise the subject is quite volatile.

I recently had some encounters with weapons that led me to believe that negs are attached to especially firearms and knives, more than other tools. It seems plausible that anything made to destroy life could be endowed by negs "at birth" so to speak. I do a bit of hunting at times and in my experience there seem to be degrees of sorts. The more "warlike" the more it is in the danger zone. I also wonder if a object that has been used in a killing is possessed by a very strong neg. I tried to test this by going to a pawnshop and with a lot of prayer observe different guns. Making sure not to tuch so as to not endanger myself. (touch makes a connection I believe) I had some experiences to confirm the above. Any comments

Often do not have time or energy to have OBEs and for a while I was looking for a way to make sure that I go straight to sleep, and wake up pretty fast. I found the best way is a moderate amount of wine or beers. They send me and I have no OBEs (there is the problem of too much alcohol but that is another point). My question is this. Is it wrong to reject OBEs ? I believe I could be having them very frequently but I am not that interested. The way I see it it is like good sex if you have it all the time it looses its special feeling. I find it very important to exersise moderation. It seems that I get too intense with my family and wife when I have a leg in each world most of the time.

Well here we go again. I have another subject that I would like to ask your opinion about. I am at a bit of a detante with this one but here goes. I was thinking about Reincarnation and the undisputable fact that some people do have memmories of past lives. As a Christian I do not see a lot of evidence in support of Reincarnation as it is mostly explained,the Bible does very vaquely talk of things like this and whatever is there is in support of thi finallity of life on earth and not reincarnation. I realise that most of you might hit me with the one about a "indoctrinated beliefsystem" but please try to get over that ok. Lets just discuss the question on its own merits and not get caught up in where the questions come from.

Could this world being step the first step on a journey. (well maybe there is a past birth in heaven first where we are born as spirits or created or whatever ) but for simplicity we would then call this the first level. Could the past lives people "experience or remember" be shadow existances or astral eccos or even spirits of the departed reliving their memmory through our mind so to speak. So the past life is not ones own but rather a "MOVIE" THAT FEELS SO REAL that people choose to accept it as their own. It would be plausible to assume that the entire emotional "feel" being replayed together with the visual, sort of video audio emodio ha, could be quite compelling. That would explain these things.

This could even be the other way around too. About Children and others remembering a past life in heaven, is it possible that souls can live for very long "time", well there is no time there (maybe time is just messured in growth or progress) in the eternal but could we live a life of learning there in preparation for our life here. Could life on earth be the exam the final test?. There is one point that I do not feel is consistant in the theory of reincarnation. That is that everything changes on earth. A tree is burned then turns to vapour only part of this substance vapour ashes etc is used in a rebirth of another tree. It is not that as the Phoenix the bird dies and is then ressurected in its original state. It seems that only molecules are recycled and it is not nessesarily a tree that is the rebirth product but could be a variety of other creations.
I see nowhere in nature that things die and the substance is recycled to be reborn in the same spicies.!!

PS I had the most amazing experience the other day. I had the vibrations and found out how to controll them played about with them for almost an hour making them come and go. After an hour I laid still and my etheric body started floating everso gently out og my physican till it wal at a 45 degree angle only attached by my scalp. Then it started turning and turning spinning everso softly around. I did not get dizzy but it was very pleasant and I was laughing loudly all the time. I didnt really want to go anywhere so I just laid there spinning and finally came bach and had a cup of coffea and wrote it down.

I have been thinking a lot about it, and I believe I am making up my mind that Re incarnation is a false. !! it seems to me that it does not make as much sense as most folks would like it to. In a wierd way it feels like a very convinient belief system giving people a good excuse to behave any which way they want. !! In other words, a sort of fatalism that if I do not make it on this try I will make it in the next. It contradicts the notion of Free will in my way of thinking at least. If there is free will then there is also accountability, but most people would prefer religion to be of the "the buffet style", so they can take what they want and leave and maybe come back later and have something else. It seems to be too convinient and very much like the Christian bad excuse that Jesus always forgives. This Christian dogma which in a way is true ofcause has for the longest time held people back from exploring their true potential. It is  contradiction to nature . !! In nature free will can only be understood in the light of a wrong and right choice. Its like you only understand wrong in contrast with right. Do the wrong thing and you suffer the consequenses. I realise that there are many cases where people have past memmories but they could be departed spirits mentally projecting their own memories making people think it is their own. I do believe that at times people could and might be given another chance at life especially kids seem to have that happen but the endless life and rebirth death and rebirth seems illogical to me. My problem is that very few want to discuss it without reverting to past dogma. It is as if most New Age folks incl some here are afraid to consider the possibility that this might be the only chance they have. Like someone said Life has no rehersal. Seems that it is also contradicted by global warming etc etc.

I have a question.! This afternoon I had a unusual experience. I was trying for a OBE and after doing energy work and praying for half hour I suddenly "snapped" to. It was not a OBE but it was like it often happens with me a buzz of vibration and almost a crack or snap like a rubberband breaking and my "eyes" opened under my eyelids. I looked over to my right and there on my bed or bunk( I live on a sail boat ) stood  ......a color full flashlight or (torch to aussies) it just stood there almost illuminated and the colors were the colors of my native flag. Quite striking. Nothing else in my view . I looked at it intensely for about 2 minutes and then I snapped back sort of sucked back rather and the vision disappeared. I laid there for some seconds and a muscle spasm sort of rippled through my body(does that happen to any of you?) Well that was it. I have been planning a visit to my home country and hope to leave in a few weeks but something is holding it up as I am waiting for some paperwork. I was mainly wondering if any of you have the muscle spasm thing happen to you as I expect the flashlight is for me to figure out.

I was typing a message and someone actually interjected a comment in my message. They was obviously reading what I was typing and commenting as I was writing. How is that possible? I have also had about 150 hits on my firewall since I signed on is that experienced by all?

I have been trying to focus on using a pulsation tecnic, and it seems to be working. I am not very experienced in this stuf and most of my OBEs come without much effort when I lie down to rest without being sleepy. Anyway I was just lying there and found that it seemed as if I could sort of bounce energy off my different bodyparts. It sounds strange but it is like I tighten a muscle only I dont. I can sort of roll or bounce this energy or whatever and make it come from lets say my left foot left knee left hip  and so on I think I am working on the conbcept RB talks about in the NEW energy chapter but I am not sure. Sometimes when I do it I get all caught up in it and its like a balancing/juggeling thing. Quite a nice pass time till I start drifting. ...........Ha I just read this over and it sounds very funny, but it is hard to explain for a non English speaker.Does anyone else use this tecnic or anything similar.

Hello everybody. I am new to this Forum. Have Done what I now know as astral projection since very young. 4 yrs or so. Lost it for some time and started regaining it around 16 now 48 and have become more interested again. It seems everytime I project I instantly apear in what Robert Bruce calls the Summerland? I fly around and seem to cry all the time it is so beautiful. Then crying and the breathing with it pulls me back. I am a very believing Christian . Spent 30 yrs all over the world as a Missionary. India Afghanistan Europe etc. I realise Astral Projection in not looked on as a mainstream Christian activity, but then again I never bothered going to church either and generally reject many established doctrines and Judeo Christian views. I am interested in weather other Christians are Projecting and how they incoperate it into their belief system. Any coment from Robert Bruce?

If you read the posts Mustang has written and still say...."there is no way to know what the truth is", I can only conclude that you do not want to accept the truth, if it interfers with your preconcieved notion. When you run out of reasonable arguments and then want to stop the conversation, with such a statement you loose credability as one who sincerly seeks the truth, come what may, and has no subjective opinion....in other words someone openminded. From the onset of your reasoning you have shown only that your "belief" in Carlos Castaneda is based on just that...... belief, I have no problem with that and only say.....again.....welcome to the "Belief system terretories"[].

I have read all your posts with care and I do have a comment if you don't mind!

My question is this. If you say that it does not matter to you what the truth is, if Carlos is a liar or not a trikster or a truthful person. What IS your standard of living? Do you care if Frank or Robert Bruce or anyone else is telling you a bunch of fiction, or does that also not matter.? Is there any standard by which you live your life? If so what is it?

If you do not care then the next question is....do YOU tell the truth or do you fabricate and make things up and spin long tales?

It is my opinion that if you believe that TRUTH is worth looking for and that lying and covering up is a bad thing, you will have a personal standard that will lead you along a plain path in life and if you do not care you will be led astray believing things out of convinience and fancy.

Is there any truth in YOUR universe?

Now what about if there only is one truth one faith that is true. This is not all together uncommon in nature or life in general. 2+2is only 4 it is never 6 9 or so on. There are many answers to every question, but not nessesarily all answers are right. This notion or this possibility is generally frowned on by most NewAgers and that would mean most folks here.....however just becourse most who post here does not agree is unimportant.....truth is not decided on democratically, right! Popular opinion is just that popular opinion. Now before you get all riled up and scream heresy (yes I do believe that many of you would call this heresy) consider this.

The belief that "there is no absolute truth", that "God is a mountain that can be scaled from many sides" and "we are all moths[]" etc the idea that Tay so eloquently put forth as....truth, is nothing more than a belief.  It is put forth as TRUTH and by many accepted as truth but it is only Tays opinion and even though it is shared my lots of likeminded it is only based on.......FAITH. He /they believe this to be true so hence it is a belief not an absolute. Welcome one and all to the "Belief System Territories"  they are being enlarged day by day. []

It is my FAITH and I BELIEVE  that there is a absolute TRUTH and that there are such a thing as falsehoods and false religions and people who believe in lies becourse they are more conveniant and apeal more, require less sacrefice and are easier to live.

You know something .....maybe you should consider the fact that this is not about you. It is about Castaneda. You got involved and have been showed to be in the wrong, by defending him and his experiences as "real". That is a very humbeling experience, but when that happens my friend, consider yourself in good company. True greatness and in a man is often meassured in his ability to say the 3 hardest words in the english language.....I was wrong. Instead of taking refuge in sarcasm, or attacking the one who brought you to this point, or yield to selfpity, embrace this viewpoint as a very good possibility and.....grow, and be .......nice about it. We are all wrong once in a while, noone is beyond that. Take courage in the fact that you will be wiser today than you were yesterday. This growth is a very important part of everyones life and determines your ability to accept other new truths as well. It is not a thing to be taken lightly, and while you are at it relax ...feelings come and go feelings are decieving.

It seems I was quoted but maybe in the wrong context. Let me explain. It seems to be a very valid point and having researched very briefly the above comments on the net I would say that it seems indeed possible that Carlos made the whole thing up using all sorts of source material. I personally never liked his books and always felt they were too "flawless" to be the truth, but so what.....

My point with the comment "My mind is made up dont confuse me with the fact" was, that often on this site Christian get bashed by the NewAgers, and they so very brasenly draw attention to the lack of historical evidence for the existance of Jesus etc. We get mocked for our gullable "belief" etc yet when this attitude is adopted by you who I would term New agers, it seems to be actable. So maybe we will all meet up somewhere in the "belief system terretories" []

Ha just so many words for saying.....hypocracy is not only a Christian "virtue"[]

I believe that I understand your point and I would agree that the sacrifice and the hard work is certainly worth it, and that it is our responsibility to try as much as lies within us to "grow". I am not so sure regarding your referral to re incarnation, as I believe it is highly unlikely that Re incarnation, as most people seem to believe in it, is an absolute truth. Anyway, maybe that doesn't really matter. At the rate the world is going the way of quiet reflection, and simple life has been messed up, and become marginalised. Maybe along with everything else and all the other polution our ability to absorb spiritual truth has also become tainted and inhibited.

To reiterate, is there a right and a wrong OBE experience, is there a step 1 step 2 etc or is it an individual thing. Are there common denominators of right or wrong things to do. I believe as it seems you do that there are?. Fear but also pride and selfrighteousness and judgemental attitudes seem to be in every way as detrimental as drugs etc. Among Christians, a attitude of non action and believing that they are "gods chosen" and that no effort is needed is another detriment to making positive steps to change and grow, and an extreme new age attitude of being too cock sure of being enlightened and on the "right path", might be just as bad and another thing to overcome.

About balance, I heard someone say "everything with moderation,....even moderation"
