What's the difference between incubus and sucubus?

In order to remove the wind problem... why not cover it with a transparent glass bowl...?  Would it still work under it?

Welcome to Dreams! / Fear of never flying
December 06, 2003, 11:12:01
I had both extremes:  Some dreams looked soooooo real; so detailed/precise!  Almost clearer than "reality"...  And other times, some dreams looked soooo fake; there was no life; everything looked like cardboard/plastic...  I hate the fake ones; I always get an intense feeling of loneliness when I have these dreams...

you would think it would be easier when you are aware and know you should be able too.

In fact, I think the opposite...  As I said in another flying thread, the more I am lucid, the less odd things (like flying) I can easily do...  One theory is that it's a battle between the conscious (who thinks that flying is impossible) and the unconscious (who thinks that flying is possible)...  The more lucid, the stronger the conscious part...

If you can't take off easily, you could try to swim in the air...  Or maybe use some props you create, like a rocket pack or something.

Hello,

It happened to me too, several times...  I have no explanation but, personaly, I just force the separation.  I "twist" my body around like you would twist a branch to rip it off a tree...  Dunno if it is a good or bad idea; but it works for me, and I did not notice any bad side effect...  But maybe someone has a softer way to do it.

Did you try to take a picture with a camera...?
Just wondering if your mirror surface might not be perfectly smooth...

Welcome to Astral Chat! / The Ring
December 04, 2003, 02:22:00
I think that most people nowdays are just so much used to violent/horror movies that it just does not have much impact anymore.

The Ring reminded me of Blair Witch Project...  Far better (not difficult[:P]), but still soso low budget.  A bit like when you go in the "haunted train" at the fair and a guy disguised in a skeleton jump in front of you and shout "BooooBoooo"... [:D]

But, as I said above, I saw so many horror/gory/spooky movies that I am just "bored" a little...

Now, what I want to see is Scary Movie 3!  Supposed to be way better (not difficult[:P]) than the first and second, and there is a parody of The Ring in it... [|)]

Just wanted to add that, personaly, each time I met family members or passed away friends, they ended up being fake or negative entities hiding...  But maybe I am unlucky.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Shape-shifting
December 04, 2003, 02:02:31
Just wanted to add that, the use of "physicaly" is a little tricky...
I was not exactly saying that it was not "physical" at all; I said that it was only for the shape-shifter and his "audience"...  Hard to explain since I am still trying to understand it.  By example, for Castaneda, he was "physicaly" a crow; he had the anatomy (body, vision...) of a crow.  For Don Juan, he saw Castaneda as a sort of crow (maybe a little messed up since the shifting was not perfect).  But for bystanders, they would not have seen a crow; they would have seen someone sleeping or drunk-looking.  At least, that's what I understood from the books...

Why worry if it's the "ultimate death"...?  If it is, you won't be anymore so you won't have any regrets/thoughts/feelings/...

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
December 02, 2003, 04:29:24
In my case, it's not a question about learning how to fly; it's more about convincing me that I can fly.

When I have a low lucidity, I just fly as easily as I walk.  I don't even think about it; I just do it.  [:D]

But when my lucidity is high, I have a hard time taking off...  I have to push myself from buildings/cliffs, or start by swiming in the air.  And then I can only hover at like a few meters from the ground...  [xx(]

I see it as a conflict between the conscious who believes it's impossible to fly and the unconscious who knows you can.  And you can apply that to other stuff like going through walls, etc...

Not exactly the same but: Castaneda talked about some entities tricking you into becoming one of them (to get your energy)... It's no that you die and are doomed for eternity but it's that your "humanity" dies and you live for 1000 times longer than a human life in this new form...

The pale=sick idea is a little annoying...  I am pale; and people (especially family members) keeps telling me that I look sick.

It's like eggs...  They found out that brown colored eggs sells better than white eggs; even if they are the same inside.

White does not sell!  Except in religion... [:D][;)]

That's cool.  Personaly, my breathing is horrible.  I feel the need to inhale like every 3-5 seconds.  But my breathing capacity is quite small too (in volume), because my belly is almsot constantly tense/tight... [B)]

The best I can do while holding my breath is like 20 seconds!  Sad...
On the other hand, when I practice with other people, I seem to be far less easily out of breath than they do.

And yes, your practice should helps to AP.  How relaxed is your body when you meditate...?  Do you still feel it?

Kamil,

"committed suicide ... without any SERIOUS reason"

Maybe she did not tell you everything...  How was she in general?  Strongminded?  Weakminded?  Something must have triggered it.  How was she after the wedding?  Did you notice any changes in her behavior?

"she will observe me, and she made it from love to me"

You could translate the first as "I will always be with you".
The second is indeed strange.  We don't know your story, but it could be that she felt guilty of something?  Was she seeing herself as a "weight" in your couple?  Was she in some ways preventing you from doing things?

I ask you all these questions because you seem to be looking for the WHY...  You seem willing to contact her to ask her why she did that...  Is that the main reason?

Anyway, I am no psy.  Don't pay too much attention to my questions...

What do you mean by soul and why is it = to liquid...?

Welcome to Dreams! / Was that a lucid one?

Damn, so I guess I must be in a sad mood with bad feelings all the time... [xx(][;)]

The tricky thing is, as I said in an earlier post, it only happens as soon as I get lucid...  I can stay "hours" with some guys in a normal dream without any incidents but, as soon as I become lucid, it's like if I suddenly "openned a door" for attacks...  The same guys suddenly go after me.

Another weird thing is that sometimes I can "hide"/delay my lucidity for a short time, in order to give me time to go far away from some of these guys...  A few times, I even gave up on becoming lucid to just stay in a normal calm and boring dream.

I tried to fight them; I tried to love them; I tried to ignore them...  Nothing works. [xx(]  If they were only showing off in front of me, trying to scare me, it would not be a big deal...  But they kind of "attack me" with very annoying "technics".  By example one of them is like tickles on steroid; it feels VERY weird/uncomfortable.  Another is to rush to my (hyper sensitive) genitals...  A third one is to rush to the left side of my neck and do "stuff"; feels also very weird/uncomfortable.

So, I just end up "escaping" to another dream.  But too many times they followed me through the different dreams.  Other times, I just decide to wake up.  But as soon as they realize it, they rush to grab me.  If they succeed, it's a lot more difficult to wake up; my attention seemed to go back to my physical body, but the contact of their grab always brings my attention back to the dream...

my point is that he showed me a false apearance in order to win my trust.

If you were looking like a "rotting scarry horror film image of what used to be a man" and wanted to contact someone...  Wouldn't you think it will be easier for you and the someone by hiding yourself under a nice mask...?  Especialy since the guy seemed friendly...
#596
I am still looking for the answer myself...

Welcome to Dreams! / Was that a lucid one?

Yeah, I too tend to end up running into a**holes most of the time in my dreams... [xx(]  That's one of the reason I don't have as many experiences as before.  My problem is not being scared; it's more feeling aggressed; it's not much fun...  Also, I get a quite strong feeling of loneliness, lost in this infinite realm.

I tried a few times to fly up to "higher planes", but never worked for me...  So, I just "gamble and reroll" the dream scenario and hope I will end up in a nicer and friendlier one...

i have felt similar feelings when I first did hash and when i went through a period of depression and panic attacks a few years a ago. I don't do drugs anymore and haven't had those panic type symptoms for years.

As said already, you might have some energetical blockage, repressed feelings; especially seeing your background.

Can you put a "name" on those panic feelings?  Maybe you could try to do your chakra work a little bit lighter and try to pinpoint what feelings seem to trigger these attacks...  And try to be just an observer; just observe the feelings from "outside".
#599
Besides if it will or will not happen...  Would you like it to happen?
Personaly, I would...  I am so fed up and sadned by the current state of society.  I really want a huge change.  But I agree that a demon invasion would be a little annoying... [;)]

Nagual... sorry if you feel you are being attacked. That is certainly not MY intentions.

Thanks AlphaOmega, and do not worry; I don't really feel attacked.  Hum... maybe a little frustrated... [:D]

In fact, I begin to wonder if I should not just skip the religious forums (I used to read all posts in all forums) given that I am agnostic...  I might be a little provocative.

Good luck, and keep your mind and eyes open! [|)]
