Scientist now agree that the brain is the receiver of conciousness...contrary to what they previously believed, that it was the creator of conciousness..this goes a long way to understanding what spiritualists for example have always "known"...that we are a deathless spirit..and that physical life is only one dimension of existence.

Good mediums offer proof of the eternal soul every day...and the spirit world have told us that the existence of the spirit world will eventually be proved.

In all fairness if life ended here, what would be the point of any of it....

Now ive never believed any of this 2012 palaver...but if you have seen the media talking about the experiments that are being carried out in Switzerland. The short storie is scientists in USA have tried to get it stopped as they belive it could create a black hole.., it was all over the british paper last wednesday "Will this be the END OF THE WORLD!!??" the intersting thing is...if it does create a black hole it will be tiny and only for a second and will take until december 2012 to build enough energy to create one...however the guys in Florida are saying that it could expand and swallow the earth....food for thought

All mediums are just cold readers, manipulators and covert hypnotists. LYING TO SOMEONE ABOUT TALKING TO THERE BELOVED DEAD IS AN ABOMINATION.

If you have ever seen Derren Brown's Messiah, then maybe you'd understand how someone with techniques can convince anyone of almost anything.

Gurus do the same thing. They get you all to meditated(putting you into a suggestible state) and then filling your mind with useless garbage and then you keep coming back because you feel enlighted when in fact you have just been carefully manipulated, probably because you're very gullible and naive.

If I wanted to, I could become a guru or medium, I certainly know enough about the occult and new age mysticism to convince anyone of my credibility. Then I'd just hypnotize them or do some guided meditation(same thing) and subliminally tell them that they want to support me and give me(the source of their enlightenment) all focus and money. I can even change believes.

Honestly I would never do that, because I have changed myself to be a positive and pragmatic person, but that doesn't mean that there aren't people out there who would use these things against you.   

So in conclusion, as it is a fallacy to claim super powers, I support the bill to get rid of these horrible leeches of society who make their living exploiting people and their instilled beliefs for their livelihood.

personally...i don't see anything wrong with being a false medium...it gives hope to people, even false hope is better than none at all.

ouch!! snakey! i agree with giving people hope! but I'm guessing you don't really understand what a medium does. Fake mediums are taking money from people when they are at their most venerable IE bereaved from the loss of a loved one in the false promise that they can give them personal evidence that proves beyond reasonable doubt that their loved one has survived the death experience.

Most genuine mediums don't charge a great deal and some nothing at all.

The reason they want to protect the public from fraud is obvious, but the rules must be set out in a way that allowes the real people to work freely.

Yeah, the thing is if your psychic and feel like a flutter, then you obviosly will have an advantage, just gotta be aware that a gift shouldnt be abused, regards M

One of my guides decided to tell me when i was going to leave this world..wasnt sure if i wanted to know, but he seemed to think it usefull!

Anyway, if every ones going to die then illl be left on my own lol...and hes normally right.

Hi, I personally wouldn't suggest that meeting or interacting with your spiritual guides is best done through OBE or particulary practical.

I have met guides in OBE, but it seemed of their choice and not mine. I have said to them mentally where are you while outa body, but now answer came the reply on each occasion.

We obviously choose a physical life through which we can grow, I therefor believe that your spiritual guide will most likely draw you towards your ultimate path of learning and enlightenment..which is your self and that will be expireinced through your every day life. Meditation is Ive found the best way to meet your guides. Sit quite and become accustomed to your own energy, your own spirit, then you will have the tools, stillness and heightend sensitivity to hear from them.

Having said all that your life and questions are unique to you and what ever seems reasonable or normal and perhaps necessary for you is where and how you may experience your guides./ Its an exciting path and I wish you luck with it, M

Hey, sounds like you had psychic experience and sounds like you were visited by your uncle. Smell is often reported IE perfume, cigars, some ones house, or what ever and the fact that it made you think of your uncle and that you were over with his family all makes sense. Obviously we can all look for normal every day explanations for strange events, but don't undo the experience and Analise it away. Let it be what it was to you and it sounds perfectly real to me.

Bye the way, smell is often what happens to people who don't necessarily consider them selves to be psychic.

Hi blue fire, I'm sorry to hear that your Nan has now passed to spirit.

Many people are desperate to hear from their loved ones after they have passed over, just to know that they are fine, I'm sure if your Nan could she would make her self known, but it does sound as if she already has. If it helps any ive never heard any sprit person say that they are not happy in the world of spirit.

It takes allot of energy for a spirit person to physically appear and ironicaly often people in grief are not in a mental or emotional state for their loved one in spirit to reach them, thats why people may see spirit when their half asleep and their mind is more relaxed and open.

It sounds as though its important for you, so why not try contacting a good medium for an appointment. Do you live in the UK ?

Yeah I'm sure it is, its the intent that has be questioned and a question Ive thought about many times. i have often psychically known the winer in a race, the first goal scorer and exact minute in a football match, the next number on the roulette table. The round Floyd mayweather would beat Ricky Hatton a month before the fight.....But is it right to use it??? The  more spiritual we become the closer we come to our higher self, the more that unfolds the potentially the greater our psychic may develop as a by product of our still and expanded nature. The thing is the more spiritual we become the less we desire the material wealth.


Mind you money is just a tool, which could possibly make your life easier and if you think of it as a tool IE a spade or shovel then theres no harm in having more or better tools....as long as you don't dig your self a big hole!!

I often think I'm so glad i have never won the lottery! it would have ruined me I'm sure and i wouldn't have the life skills and experiences I have now. But I'm ready now LOL
