Honestly, you people running around pretending to have superpowers to change the world etc. are nothing but wannabies. You wanna be DBZ, you wanna be Jesus, you wanna be God, you wanna be everything. Get over yourselves and realise that things like that are not possible to achieve in our lifetimes.

Sure, Jesus achieved great things, but there were less people in his world than there are today, and he had more time to research into metaphysics. By the way I quite strongly believe that Jesus and Mohammad were strongly into metaphysics, quite possibly magic.

I totally agree. Spiritual development doesn't mean you will get superpowers and be able to use it as a weapon. It is about mental and spiritual balance, and only through achieving this can people do wonderous things.

And then, there is the age-old saying I am constantly reminded of. "Those who have the power, don't. Those who have the power, need not say anything at all." So if somebody could ACTUALLY levitate, they wouldn't run around going hey I can levitate I'm so great and you suck hahahaha. Where's the proof? Just another teenager basing their entire energy work on DBZ. I'm a teen myself, but I woke up from the nightmare of DBZ mainly cause I hate the show. It was made 20 years ago for crying out loud. If you want GOOD anime go watch a GOOD, RECENT anime such as Cowboy Bebop.

And about believing that anything is possible. That is a good philosophy...to a certain extent. Scepticism isn't evil, it can be used to apply logic and make things make sense. I have found that since I employed scepticism my energy work has gotten better. If Robert Bruce ran around saying he had super powers and aspired to be like Goku I don't think he could have ever accomplished such works such as the Treatise on OOBE, Astral Dynamics, PPSD, etc.

The thing with energy being used in combat is so far from reach it's mind boggling. Achieving a good relaxed state of mind combined with martial movements to make people explode and crap like that is just so near impossible that I'm amazed some people still think it'll take a few weeks. A much easier approach is to become calm and relaxed to manipulate energy in and around you. Psionics is one of the best and most logical energy practices that is easily accessible today. If you want to learn how to use Ki, learn Aikido or Karate or the like.

If anybody here has seen Akira, then you know what I mean by Psionics. But that movie is also overexaggerated. Psionics is more of a practical energy work with better results than most pathetic ki websites, which just happen to be on TRIPOD!!! Why don't all you whacky McDojo "Ki masters" buzz off and leave us true practitioners alone.

whatever the hell you call them they are all part of one big group:
PSYCHOKINESIS. Simple term, lots of abilities. Just like somebody might be natural at reading music but not playing it on the piano, whereas another might have trouble reading but can play like a pro, different levels of psychokinesis can be naturally excelled depending on the person.

As for Aerokinesis, I believe its just a bit of Telekinesis on air. Changing the weather can sometimes be a bit of magick, and striking lightning is more of a electrokinesis thing. But all in all, its PK.

The names Qi, Chi, Jing and Shen are all part of Chinese dimensional and energy theory. Ki is just an adaptation used by the Japanese.

To me there is no difference, except subtle ones depending on the source and the ways energies are used. Of course I do believe in large differences, like auric energy and elemental energy, but I try not to use Eastern jargon because it just confuses people, as shown in this thread.

America's a great country sure, but like all governments, its one is starting to reveal its sure-as-daylight corruptedness. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and who has the most weapons of mass destruction? Who tore NATO apart? I don't hate America, it's one of the most logical and best countries there is. But the way their government acts is annoying. They make their people believe that America is the one and only country, the only power that has the right to have power, the only place that can control. They are basically policing the world.

Sorry, ranting again.

My belief is that we should all try to spiritually enhance ourselves as much as we can so that we can teach others to do the same when the time comes. I'm speaking of the year 2012, which most religions believe will be the Apocolypse, or "time of revealing." I believe that during this time the Astral shall fuse with the physical, and a great catastrophe will happen in which everybody will leave their physical vehicles and ascend to the Astral. All the spiritually enlightened ones will come together to form another higher being, possibly a god if there is enough, and we can teach others of our ways and make them all contribute to the one higher being of humanity.

Sorry, that was just a silly theory I thought of.

But whose to say that this life is not the last? You ARE your soul, so your soul would care. There is no difference. If you have a depressing life then you will drift endlessly in the afterlife as a lonely soul, haunting people. If you are happy you will become motivated to find a new life, or thats the way I see it.

I find auraseer to be skilled, but just like every other person who trains themselves, it is very difficult for them to teach others because their techniques are too unique to them and only them. Also auraseer's site has a few emails from idiots who are pretending to have superpowers, like the one I read about increasing your power level. OMG WHEN WILL IT END!!!!

In fact, I'd read that article just to see your theory! I like to look at other theories and compare them to see similarities and possible things I've missed.

I first discovered ENERGY last year in december. I'm beginning to despise calling it Ki though, because too many people either relate it to a set of keys or they relate it to some story some punk at school told them about so that makes me crazy. Plus defining energy by name gives it confusion, as seen many times on the psipog.net forums. It's really all the same, whatever its name.

And about that part about the stories...back in the day I couldn't keep my mouth shut so the wrong people found out. One thing led to another and now im a nutcase!

Hey I'm gonna be posting something right now. It's of something of a similar topic but I need space to show my theory.

It is pretty much the same theory of ascension, although I call it Ability Phase Shifts, or Phase Shifting, or APS for short.

Is it just me, or is every single person who calls energy Ki into some form of DBZ crap?? Personally, flight is just quick levitation, and levitation is something that recquires vast amounts of energy, in your case, jing.

Jing is just energy strong enough to become physical, in my opinion.

And about wishful thinking, get that thought out of your head. From what I read here, you've already created a ki ball. Your method of seeing it is exactly perfect, auric sight (slight clairvoyancy). Read the article on how to see auras and I'm sure you'll find a similarity my friend.

Energy is simple really, it only takes a bit of convincing your SUBCONCIOUS thoughts to believe. When I come to do a technique I have recently heard about, but do not believe as such (such as the alleged ki blast, which I personally think is inspired by a bunch of DBZ fanatics) to be possible, it takes a bit of trance states and argueing with my subconscious to get results. Don't rush the energy and relax, and don't be so negative! Try gathering energy in your ribcage first, and THEN sending it to your hands for better results for beginners [].

And about power levels. Everybody who says they can measure power levels is an idiot who can't use energy for crap. They make up things like how they can run 60mph and things like that.

Which brings me to my last point, the websites you read. Try to find good ones for god's sake. I don't know how many countless sites I have visited with mindless philosophy, 4-year-old spelling and grammar, DBZ techniques (involving power levels and such), and bad instructions over all. Psipog.net is a fantastic site with good articles, albeit their opinions biased that energy is psi and ONLY psi. Bunch of numnuts. Practice as much as you research, but research WELL. I combined good websites with personal experience and some books to create my own personal philosophy, and as soon as I can get to learning HTML I'm gonna make a website that is WORTH reading.

Just remember this equation:
Positive thoughts = results + backed up positive thoughts = more results.

Negative thoughts (scepticism) = failure + backed up negativity = more failure.

Ki is visible...to the third eye. The third eye chakra/storage center focusses on one's sensitivity to energy. Because of its linkage to the physical eyes, seeing ki IS possible. Also, normal eyesight can sometimes pick it up if the ki is INCREDIBLY strong. I have once achieved a purple fog in front of me without using my third eye.

And about ki warriors and such. Most minds these days are materialistic and if there isn't an equation, physical proof or something you can dissect in a lab, it isn't real according to them. I would suggest you shut your trap about it at school, people knowing is dangerous.

Getting started because of anime? This is logical because, of course, DBZ was inspired by ki. Of course it is overexaggerated and things like that would be unaccomplishable in our life times. Ki is in fact, the Japanese word for energy or power, Chi being the Chinese. Westerners identify it as Mana or Psi, although the practices for each vary quite significantly. Try not to look at too many sites about KI itself. Those sites are usually written by people who spell like 4 year-olds and they are so lost in their DBZ fantasies I feel like breakin their face! A lot of these sites also lack in explanation because the authors followed a path of ki that was very hard to learn, and they cannot explain their accomplishments on to a single site. The rest are just crackpots.

About the breathing thing. DON'T put your arms by your torso. Relaxing your arms AWAY from any part of your chest usually removes this feeling because your diaphragm is what causes your hands to push away and come back in. I've created this magnetic effect before without my arms (except for my shoulders) touching my main body. I just create a strong ki ball and program it to stay together, then I make it constantly push out a magnetic force and pull in at the same time. Pretty neat feeling[]

I'm not Christian and I don't believe in the devil or satan, but with all due respect I just have to say this.

Religion believes that a greater being (god) cast us out of a haven because we did something bad. I believe humanity screwed itself over, through a thing called evolution. It's just common human nature to be so damn screwed up. No single being could possess that many people. I mean, we are the only race that ever kills its own kind. Also, just so you know, Christianity, Catholicism and Judism came from a religion that used Magic, even though they all say it is against God. They buried and burnt most of the books and hid more valuable ones in some Black Library, hidden from the world for so long it's probably caved in by now.

But yes, I do believe the apocolypse is happening right now. It's not going to happen spontaneously, as a lot of people believe. I believe it will truly end after Generation X (that's my generation people, I ain't no old fart complainin) finishes its time here. We already see humans neglecting the good and loving the bad. Drugs, sex, racism, and murder are just to name a few! Soon there will be nothing but a plague of disease such as AIDS and cancer. Humanity has become a disease itself unto the planet. By definition, disease means an outbreak in population, something that is going out of control. Anybody my age, 14-17, will look around them and notice the sex drives of even an 11 year old. It's not natural. This rise in sex only means 2 things. A rise in sexually transmitted diseases and a hell of a lot more babies.

Also the American Government is making the stupidest mistakes. George Bush may be just a figure, but he is making so many stupid triggerhappy texan farmer mistakes I just wish he was never born. The whole peaceful settlement with Korea is just a buy of time, until eventually the threat for nuclear war will rise to about 2:1. As the good old Nostrodamus predicts, and I quote,"After the two brothers fall the third war shall begin." And he also said something about 1000 years of peace afterwards. Well guess what, it takes about 1000 years for nuclear radiation to dissipate.

A lot of things in the chapter of Revelations in the bible makes sense, but not literal sense. The BEAST is a codename for a computer that keeps track of people's money. All barcodes are marked with 2 at the beginning, 2 at the middle and 2 at the start. Everything we buy is marked with 222, and 666 is the number for mankind in greek. So perhaps we are the beast? Maybe the computer keeps track of us? We are marked? Is that the next step to the end?

But whatever happens, I'm trying to raise my own personal spirituality without religion. I just try to find my own answers. I believe that all spiritual people of the world will find their way to happiness after life, whilst all the rest can just be lost in the afterlife forever.

Adrian, with all due respect, I'd just like to know where you got that photo? Looks pretty fake to me. I've seen etheric orbs floating around on their own before and they usually are covered in a kind of smoke. See a picture of your typical swirling Japanese ghost for an idea (the eye of the ghost is the orb, the body of the ghost is the smoke).

And that really is easy to believe to the modern ki practitioner. The lack of information on websites leads some energy practitioners to believe that ki is green, and nothing else (see UnderGround Society webpage), and although it looks really cool, I noticed that it gave off light. Energy (whatever you want to call it, ki, chi, psi, etc.) doesn't give off light, but the pic was glowing. That's a main sign that things have been doctored.

Tactile Imaging is child's play to learn and use. It's not visualizing. Didn't you read? NO Visualization!! It's all in the sense of touch, feeling your awareness. Being aware of an area is feeling it. For example, if you get a big cut on your leg and you look at it, suddenly your eyes focus on the cut make it seem to hurt more, because your awareness has just shifted to the pain. Try simply scratching a part of your body and feeling it and focusing on it as much as you can, without eyes if you can. If you can't do it without eyes, then use your eyes, but try to ween yourself off them later on.

Try getting a massage from your girlfriend or go to a clinic and feel the massage as much as you possibly can. This will slightly raise your ability to use mobile body awareness. Tactile Imaging is just moving MBA around the body to stimulate energy areas.

It really is easy, you just aren't going about it the right way

Also, make sure they don't crack up laughing when they say they are skilled in TK. Learn to tell when people lie, even if they don't laugh or smile.

Negative spirits attacking people? Of course it's true! I have never even projected and I get negs bugging me all the time. Of course the attacks aren't as severe as those from astral projection but I still hear things at night and I hear voices as I fall to sleep. I wonder where that book I ordered is? Stupid Amazon.com [!]

But really, that's an awesome theory...what inspired you? I say that Robert Monroe never had experience with negs because he did OBE a slightly different way...or maybe he just doesn't "taste" very nice []. And yeah...maybe some people taste like candy to them!!! []

Anyhoo, I find that people who practice using energy are more likely to attract negs because their energy level increases and they naturally hold more energy in their bodies than normal people. It's because of that "ripple" effect you talked about. Everybody has a kind of energy "signature," and when you practice using energy in any way then that signature becomes stronger and easier to lock on to. Also, when you practice using energy you should be able to protect yourself so it's no biggy .

BEWARE THE GREYS!!!! These little gremlin-like punks are also called Zetas. They are the typical Roswell crash-landing alien creature, but they are masters of psychic abilities and astral project most of the time to protect their pathetic physical body.

But anyways, beware of these things. They are possibly the most evil thing I have ever encountered. Just looking at a sci-fi PICTURE reminds me of the fear that strikes your heart when they look you in the eye.
