Messages - Nagual

#601
But it's supposed to be something very difficult to achieve...

Castaneda was tricked by some entities; which transported his physical body (plus the body of Carol Tigs) to some unknown place.  And they had a real hard time to come back.

Same thing with the 2 Nagual apprentices of Nagual XXX (can't remember his name) I think.  He asked one entity to "play" with them (as in feel free to do whatever you want with them), and the entity took them physicaly to their world.  Then, XXX had to bring them back.

Same when Castaneda fell in the Inorganics trap.  They brought his physical body into their world.  Then, Don Juan and his friends had to go there to get it back.

Castaneda also dreamt of a place in RTZ, and then woke up there...

I think it's the 4th gate of dreaming...

Anyway, back to topic.  In Castaneda's book, Don Juan told him that, as long as he cannot see his body laying on his bed, sleeping; it's not "real".  He even asked him to be sure that it was the exact "copy" of his body and environement.  Like same t-shirt, same hair cut, night time if it was night, same everything...

Supposed to be the big thing; being the end of the world, or the demon's invasion, or a massive elevation of consciousness, etc...
#603
Some people do it...  Check tantra maybe.  But it seems to be based on male/female relation (man and woman needed)...  Just remember that it's a tricky path.

Maybe check your cookies...  My 3 astral pulse cookies expire "at the end of the session" (if I close my browser)...  But that's my browser settings.

Welcome to Dreams! / Question

quote:
I am still dreaming and I know it is not a dream.

Could you be more specific please...?

If you don't like your actual dream, you can change it.  Let yourself fall back or spin on yourself.

Welcome to Dreams! / Was that a lucid one?
November 30, 2003, 08:36:59
Yes, looks like you had a lucid dream!

Just remember that the lucidity level may vary from times to times.  Sometimes, you knows it's a dream but still do stupid things like in a normal dream.  And other times, you are as lucid as in day time.

Welcome to AP forum Viator!

OBEs are easy! [:D][;)]
Just let your body fall asleep, but keep your mind awake...
Ok, the technic is easy, but it's not that easy to do.
Like everything else, except for gifted people, it's just hard work...
If you want some tips, have a look at http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=44 and read Robert Bruce's books.

Good luck!

The question is... do you really have a body...
Personaly, I had quite a few experiences where I seemed not to have one.  Also, some where I could remove a part of my body and just go on fine...

For some people, we have an astral body because we think we "must" have one...
#609
Thanks Xander, I was begining to feel lonely... [:D]

quote:
Well you know, there is no concrete evidence of humans evolving from monkeys.

Just wanted to remind you that the focus was on evolution in general; no need to narrow it to the controversial monkey-humans evolution...
quote:
To say that pedophiles are mostly male so most males are pedophiles is an overstatement. To say that meat eating animals are not all intelligent is not an overstatement.

Excuse me but, when you say: "Some say we became intelligent because we introduced meat into our diets" and then "What about strictly carnivorous animals? Those that eat nothing BUT meat? Don't see lions walking around discussing philosphy of life do you?"; it translates to "human are intelligent because they eat meat"  and then wonder why "lions who eat meat are not intelligent"...  I see no difference with my purposefully absurd example...  I don't understand why you used your example on this topic...?  Trying to proove me wrong on the beliefs of other people...?
quote:
The universe was created somehow! If you believe in God then you believe that He created it. However, if you believe in the big bang theory

Again, if you read my previous post, I said that I agree "in a creator of it all".  But you cannot extrapolate that I believe in a (christian) god that created Adam and Eve with the Tree and Snake and all...  I just believe there is a cause to an effect; that's all.  Also, believing in a creator does not exclude believing in the big bang... No?
quote:
there is a bumper sticker which says "I'm a fool for Christ. Who's fool are you?" Your fool is evidence you can only see and touch. Interesting position for these cosmic chat rooms, where I betchya most of us are more spiritually oriented.

My fool (not sure what you mean by fool) is reason; not talking about skepticism or cartesian or whatever like that; but just thinking a little bit before rushing to a conclusion...
quote:
Interesting position for these cosmic chat rooms, where I betchya most of us are more spiritually oriented.

What do you mean by spiritually oriented...?  I have so called lucid dreams.  I have maybe so called OBEs.  To be open minded, does not mean to blindly believe in everything, rush to conclusion...
quote:
So the Bible is just old stories and books....what scientific methods did you use to come to that conclusion?

First, I did not name the Bible.  But, since you talk about it, the Bible is indeed an old book full of stories...  Isn't it?   I don't say the Bible stories are not true; as I don't say they are.  I just say that some ink on paper and stories repeated (and purposefuly deformed) from generations to generations will never convince me.  Of course, you can as usual use the St Thomas (correct?) excuse...
quote:
Yes, I do believe giraffes appeared with their anatomy... otherwise, they'd be dead

It's funny how your "proof" is based on the the same thing you are tying to prove...  God created giraffes with a valve not to die.  So Giraffes have a valve.  So God created Giraffes.
quote:
Maybe they are all in France.

[:O]Insert, I did not expect this attack!  Damn, you proved me wrong...   I'm a damn french! [:D]
quote:
Have you ever been in love? Oops, I guess you don't believe in that, since you can't prove it with hard evidence.

To be honest, nope, never been in love so far...  Or the closest would be my love for nature and animals...

To summup my "beliefs": When "you" see a shinny white light, "you" see God that loves you etc etc...
When I see a shinny white light, I see a shinny white light. Maybe it will become something else after some analysis of the experience.  But, these are good chances that it will just stay as a shinny white light.
#610
No idea...  Personaly, I just intend to wake up, and I wake up instantly...  But, I agree that sometimes, it's difficult.
Maybe you could try to:
- Try to move some part of your physical body (fingers, eyes).
- Ask loud to wake up.
- Lie on your bed on top of your physical body and try to merge back.
- Let yourself fall back, or spin on yourself.

The false awakenings are tricky...  Dunno how to avoid them.
Good luck!

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Subliminal Messages
November 29, 2003, 02:49:25
Talking about subliminal messages, I wonder if a few of these binaural beat CDs out there could contain some hidden messages...  Especially as in transe we should be more receptive...  [:O][|)]

quote:
I think maybe God created imperfections in animals for the same reason he created them in humans... so they would eventually die.

We don't necesseraly die from these "imperfections"...  Many people just die "naturaly", from being old.  I was more talking about very "stupid" imperfections/problems

quote:
Humans evolve mentally and invent new ideas to cope with their environment. We are the only species on the planet that does that, which must account for something.

Proven wrong many times by many animals who learned to adapt to new environment.  Like the use of tools, etc...  And not just talking about monkeys.

quote:
To believe that humans came from monkeys means you are not using common sense.

Who are you reffering to by 'you'...?  Let's see how better is your common sense...

quote:
If we came from monkeys... why are there still monkeys?

And next thing you will say is that there is only 1 stereotype of human being...  There are so many factors that will trigger so many different big or small evolutions...  It's not because one group of animals evolved one way that all the specie is going to follow...

quote:
And if humans come from almost every continent in the world, why did only some monkeys on the same continent evolve into humans, while their brothers and sisters remained primates?

First, if I understood clearly, in the past there was only 1 huge continent that later splitted appart...  And most primates are supposed to have come from what has become Africa.  Second, you ask why...  I reply "why not?"  See above...  Man, just look around.  Can't you see how much humans evolved in just a few centuries???  Do we all look like the same?

quote:
Some say we became intelligent because we introduced meat into our diets which helps our brain to grow. What about strictly carnivorous animals? Those that eat nothing BUT meat? Don't see lions walking around discussing philosphy of life do you?

Yeah...  Most pedophiles are males; so most males are pedophiles...  See the problem in your "logic"?

quote:
Wanna use logic instead of belief, that's very good. Because if you sit down and really think about all aspects of life, it's really quite logical to believe in a creator of it all.

At least one thing we agree on... [:D]  But that does not explain any of the creationist? theories.

Between concrete evidences found and beliefs from old stories/books...  I choose the evidences...

If you are at body asleep, it means your body is paralyzed.  At least, that's my definition of body asleep...

Anyway, it's always better after it is paralyzed since you will be less tempted to use your muscles to roll out by example...
#614
quote:
I was really impationt this time....  Argh what did I do wrong?

You were impatient... [|)]
quote:
I physically tried to sit up this time and I did and I started to really shake...  I opened my eyes

The goal is to let the physical body "fall asleep"; to forget about it...  Why did you try to do physical things???

Again, let your physical body fall asleep.  Forget about it.  Don't use any muscles.  Use your mind/will/intent.  Empty your mind and just intend whatever you want to...  Maybe you could try not to do anything next time...  Just stay in trance and wait...  Even if you have to stay 4 hours in trance, just wait and observe!

To help, maybe you can try this little exercise: lie down or sit and visualize yourself getting up from wherever you are and going for an imaginary walk in your house, then in your neighborhood. Visualize the scene as you would see it with your eyes. Use all your senses; touch things, listen to noises, etc... Try it and see how far you can go until your mind is brought back to where you really are. When it happens, you have to start over.

Good luck!  And take your time.

Just want to say that even physics says that everything is made of energy...  Personaly, I can't do TK and never tried to.  But I can feel my energy and can move parts of my body with it.  Like making a chi ball between my palms and then moving one palm closer will push the other palm away like a magnet...  Same with the opposite: if I move one palm away, the other is pulled to it.  Maybe it's related....?
#616
Hi Softerthanair,

When you say you are meeting in the Astral... aren't you lucid?  Don't you have some control over what you can and cannot do...?

So, you're saying that giraffes just suddenly appeared on earth with their actual anatomy???  Maybe you should read a little bit about the scientific researches on fossils, carbon dating and all the stuff related...

To not believe in evolution is one thing; but to blindly ignore the findings that goes against your belief is another...
#619
Don't think too much about how it's going to look...  You'll soon see it by yourself! [|)]

Some people advise not to force anything.  Others advise the opposite...
Your choice.

First, there is no hurry.  Take your time, enjoy the transe state, the relaxation.  Get used to it.  The more you will feel comfortable, the less you will get scared.

If you want to push it, try the rope technic, or "feel" yourself as floating in another body above your physical body.  Or try to move your arms without moving your physical arms (tricky [;)]).  Try anything you want.  Have fun!

Honestly, I don't know...  I am just waiting for 2012!  [|)]

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Shape-shifting
November 28, 2003, 04:17:10
James, I am pretty sure that, if you re-read Castaneda's books, it is said many times that, if someone was a witness of the experience (shape-shifting), he would not see any animal...  By example, when Castaneda shape-shifted into a crow and flew above the desert...  and then asked Don Juan if people would have seen him as a crow, he was answered no.  Basicaly, he was only a crow for himself (and Don Juan).  He was perceiving the world as a crow.
#622
Who said giraffes had this problem before...?  Maybe they developped the valve before or while their small necks became longer...

My point of view is that: there are SO MANY unperfect aspects, problems in all creatures...  Why did God create them with all these limitations/imperfections/problems?
#623
quote:
Christ said, "it is impossible to not believe what you see. It is equally impossible to see what you do not believe".

I don't agree with Christ...  Just go see a show of magicians.  While I see one cutting a woman in pieces and then glueing her back; I don't believe it was real.  And while I don't believe someone can pull rabbits from an empty hat, I still saw the guy do it...  [;)]

By stories too "human" I mean that they seem too narrow minded.  By example, many people can't think of other ways to travel but with using a space ship, with panels full of buttons, flashing lights, etc...  Why would such advanced energetical beings have to use spaceships at all...?  Do you need a spaceship to travel in the Astral?  And, if they mean to travel "physicaly", that's another narrow minded human view.  Why would they use chairs and tables like us?  And some of their interview speeches don't really sound that "clever"/advanced (I don't mean the bad use of the language, but the content/meaning).

Right now, I am still wondering... Maybe it's all true.  Maybe those experiences are real but the interpretation is not correct.  Maybe it's all "imagination".  Maybe a mix of all 3.

But I have a preference for a mix of incorrect interpretations (or being tricked by entities; a predatory universe) and "imagination"...

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid conversations
November 27, 2003, 08:04:37
Hum... maybe they don't wanna talk because animals are not supposed to be able to talk...  [;)]
Maybe they were busy and had no time to chat with you...
Hum... in fact you talked with them; it was just a little bit too short...  [|)]
Next time, ask them why they don't want to...
Also, when they say they don't wanna talk, it does not mean they don't want you to talk...
Try to tell them a joke and see how they react... [:D]
