In my limited knowledge of religion there seems to be more than the concept of the belief in God. but a whole load of man made Dogma. I'm not saying it doesn't contain any truth or sign posts that may lead us nearer our own truth... and maybe to god lol

After all, Religion is a man made concept.

Please help to save the future of genuine mediumship in the UK

Some of you will be aware that a law change next April will result in mediums being prosecuted.
The government have responded to a petition that was created this year to change "the Fraudulent Mediums Act1951". This act will be repealed from April 2008.

Whilst we agree that those who are fraudulent should be prosecuted, we feel that these changes should only go through after extensive consultation with all spiritual organisations. We need to work together to create unified code of conduct. The danger of doing nothing will leave us powerless to operate as we have the potential of taking years to unwind.

For us TO HAVE A VOICE we need as many people to sign the petition as possible.
The dead line for this is 6th of February 2008. Please forward this on to you friends and colleagues.

Consider the discriminatory implications of singling out the spiritualist religion for the inclusion within the Consumer Protection Regulations and not other religions. Any changes to the Fraudulent Mediums Act should only be made after extensive consultations with all main spiritualist organisations.
Whilst we agree that those who are deliberately fraudulent should be prosecuted it should be remembered that, other than the Church of England, Spiritualism is the only other legally recognised religion in this country. The others are only tolerated. The Religious Discriminations Act states that all religions should be treated equally. If Spiritualism    is to be included within these regulations so should other religions.

Hi monk, hope yor feeling better and staying grounded. That particlar guide nomarly talks to me about philosiphy and healing and spritual unfoldment, as for correct info an example would giving me insight to peoples ailments, some future events, personal warnings for me occaisonly, and some times for others. I trust him.

Hi Jingo, thats intersting, could there not be other contributory factors? I find that spirit dont bother making themselves heard over such maters unless they feel its of some importants. Prehaps thier concerns are for anther reason, they didnt secificly talk about trees, so could other factors play a part in balancing the planets eco system?...best Mk

Hi people, ive not been here for a while, been soooo busy.

Any way this morning being a saturday i thought i would stay in bed a bit longer and read a book.

Thats when a Gentleman in the sprit world came close and spoke to me about climate change.

I took a pen and started to write as he spoke, the most alarming thing he metioned was " If the world does not come to realise a global awarness that can indeed cause a positve change to how our planet is looked after sooner rather than later, the industaral revelution will cause iraversable effects and cause a catastrophic depletion of our planitary oxigen levels by year 2019"....worrying stuff!

Now I have no or little scientific knowledge on this matter, but im guessing that even a smallish drop in our oxegin levels could cause a reactionary chain of adverse effect. Is it also conceavable that with our forests bieng devistated in many parts of the world and other things going on that have a detremental effect on our envorement, that this could infact be happening?

The other concerning factor is our friend in the spirit worlds information and predictions have always been 100% correct, so what to do?

Has any one else been given the same, or simair information? or does anybody have a scietific knowledge in this matter?

Wow, this is exactly why I was hesitant about posting my expirience.As im sure most people realise, sleep dep is highly damaging to the body, mind and central nervouse system, dont go there.

My most enjoyable most memorable and meaningful obes have been at times when i have been grounded, happy healthy and of peacfull mind. In my expireince its completely different if you having a realy bad time.

Just meditate, a peaceful mind promotes the connection to your higher swelf which in its self a path to spritual growth and enlightenment, a by product of which is often, compassion, clairvoyance, increased psychic ability and often the ability to AP with ease. Please note these are often by products of spiritual growth not the reason for growing.

I know psychics and mediums who can AP at will, im guessing this would due to their encreased mind energy, stillness and grounding, either cultivated over time or natural or both.

Firstly im very sorry to hear of all your stresses, life has a tendency to throw everything at us all at once. I dont know if this similer to your expiriences, but my mind tends to wake up before my body every day, which leaves me in a lucid dream state every morning for a while before i get up, theres all kinds of strange expirences associated with that.

I may be wrong, but my impression of your situation leads me to think think that you would be most wise to realy try and ground your self in every day life just now. Stay away from trying to AP etc and just do some realy every day stuff, at least until your own life has calmed down. Mentelly ask your guides to help gently close you down a bit, so your not so open to outside inflences,im sure they will only be to glad to help. Ask your gate keepers to only allow those workers that come in love to visit you.

If you get the chance maybe try and find a good healer or medium and see if they can help ground and clear your energy a bit. but if you stay positive and get busy and of course relax that will start to happen anyway.

As for seeing your Mum, I would say your very lucky, im sure thats your mum trying to let you know shes near by and looking after you and your father at these hard times. I think it unlikely that you would get  photo etc of the wardrobe materialisation as its probably your clairvoyance thats alowing you to see her. Next time you see her just try saying hello and mentally send her your love.

Greetings good people of the Astral Pulse.

I recently sufferd a very stressfull period in my life sparked off by a number of extremely difficlut life situations, ultimatly I sufferd a nervouse break down, one side affect of which was the almost inablity to sleep! which im sure you may aprreciate magnifies the stress to an unimaginable level....trust me ive just been there!

    Anyway, the longer i didnt sleep the harder it became to get to sleep, the worry of weather I would sleep or not? became if you like, aself fulfilling prophecy.
Im talking a few hours of light sleep every 3 or four days....not good, and this went on for a couple monthes.

Anyway the point of the post is AND PLEASE DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!! was every time i attempted to rest, my body would drop off and you guessed it! my mind wouldnt which equals OBE after OBE after OBE not at all fun when your mind is suffering in that way and very, very frustrating.

Before any one thinks, ah that sounds like a good technic! Please remember that sleep deprevation is extreamly harfull to the body and the mind and can have some quite frighteng consiqunces or at least its very very likely to.

The difference with these obes, was at times I thought I had died and gone to spirit.

Any way thought i would share with you all.

Then you've never sat in a mediumship circle and watched one of your group actually allow a spirit to come in and use them to communicate to others. (Note I use the word allow, as spirits will never just jump in uninvited.)

You've also then not seen the person's posture, voice, accent and facial features change as the guest spirit starts speaking through them. You've not then heard the medium speaking about the experience afterwards, telling you it's like they're either somewhere else completely or they're kind of remote viewing the room.

Sorry Major Ka, you can laugh at this idea all you want, and you're most certainly entitled to your opinions, but just because you haven't experienced it doesn't make it untrue. I've witnessed this many times in circles, and I don't see anything "out of the ordinary" about it. It's just one of the ways in which some channeling mediums choose to operate if they feel a high level of love and trust for / from the particular spirit wishing to speak through them.

Spirit dont jump in and take over our bodys uninvited! it can often take hard work and dedication to reach thta level of entrancment, that why l felt like making the point ,as their are some people that dont understand this and subsequently have a fear of spirit.

And if you had read my post, I sit in a trance circle. I to allow spirit to address the group through me, I have been on platform for trance Dems, and have it seen it many times as I have been lucky enough to work sit with some very good mediums. Hi people, sorry but I'm on my little soap box again. 

I recently visited an open circle for developing mediums. The medium went on to tell us about how spirit can jump in our body's and take us over!!    I would of fell off my chair laughing    if it wasn't for the fact i was genuinely horrified that people where turning up and paying to be taught this rubbish ! 

Now I agree with understanding your own energy and not going round being too open at the wrong time, but as for spirit jumping into your body and taking you over NO WAY i just don't buy it!!

And why I don't, is because Ive sat in a trance circle for a while and I appreciate just how difficult it can be and how much practice and development of sensitivity you need to allow your guide to blend energy and then speak through you or control your movement's, and even at that level of entrancement the medium can generally choose to come back out of it at any time.

Yes.  Which brings us to why do some of us experience demons, negs, ETs and other horrifying things and some of us don't?   My belief is because that is what we've created, for whatever reason.  I think one way is, we surround ourselves with whatever tickles our fancy...and by that I mean...we think, eat, sleep, talk, and walk about that tickle factor.

I don't like watching negative movies or even news report too much, but some people thrive on that stuff....  How much you wanna bet the person that thrives on that, is the one having "problems" with demons?

Hi, thats pretty much what i was trying to say, but you made a much better job of saying it than I did lol! thank you Marcus. I dont start the post to be hostile or provocotive, only I went to an open circle for mediums recently who seemed to have a fixiation with evel spirits and bieng taken over, which i found odd? and a little diturbing, but everybody is entitled to thier own beliefs. As the night went on it became more obviouse that people less developed psychicly shall we say were the ones who seemed to be drawn into the whole idea the most. Now im not saying that people who are clairvoyant havent expienced unwanted things, because how could I know, although I doubt they do, but in my mediumship and astral travelles I havent personally come up against anything nasty, and dosent realy fit anywhere realisticly in my belief system.

It would seem to me that if demons or what ever did exist, that those of us who do haeling and are following a more spiritual path etc would be a threat to thier cause, and as such as such we would be prime targets. I think there is enough diffulcty in this physical world to just live prosper and enoy our selves, with out the help of demonic enteties, thats where I believe the fine balance lies that Rob was pointing out, right here, in our minds. two cents any way God bless M x

Oh I could provide a whole host of experiences I have had, some subtle and some less so, with negative entities, as well as with a number of other classes of entities, some experiences relating to me some also involving other family members and obvious physical effects on me and them. But I doubt it would count for much in your mind, besides I've said it all before on these forums. I will also assume then that your opinions are based upon just that and not experience. You seem a little too keen to bring things down to intellectual arguments.

Mate, its a bloody enormous and excessively complex universe out there!!! Dont get caught in little man thinking of "I think its like this that etc this is possible this is not blah blah blah". I once heard the term "intellectual masturbation" applied to this sort of thinking, and I think it is apt  . 

Lol Rob the first bit of your reply sounds aptly like a bit of your "intellectual masterbation" that you were telling us about, and its never wise asume anything!
I base my open minded views on personal expirience and learning, and dont pressume to know the answer, the evidance I have expirienced has led me to my belliefs.
So these demons you have had first hand expirience of, what did they look like?

Demons are as real as angels, jesus, and god.  The lower plains that you travel while dreaming will verify this fact. Lucifer has many demons and in return his demons have legions that follow. If you believe in angels and god than certainly you can see the fine balance of good and evil that exists everywhere you look. The lower vibrational states are some of the easiest to reach for U.S citizens(and most of the world really). Hmmm wonder why? 

Who said i believe in Angels? and why is it easiest for U.S citiezens to reach and find Demons, do the live in Kentucky?
So where are they, if they are of a lower vibration then what is their purpose and what is their piont?
If lucifer is the opposite of God, then Gods creates and Gods creations progress through incarnation and spirtual growth. Then what is the purpose of an oppsite conciousness? ie Mr lucifer? to destroy? and hinder creation? and spiritual progress? then that would be suicidal for Lucifer because he/she would be destroying them selves.....? And lets imagine Lucifer sucseeded where would hell exist for it truly is the opposite of god then ultimatly the destruction it creates would mean it would have no where to exist! Demons and hell are in the mind

If we are to believe that we come from one supreme scource, if we belive that one energy created all that exists in this univeres, and personaly I do.
When did that scource i.e God, decidide to create demons? and why dont they incarnate (obviosly because there is no such thing). I dont believe there is anything in the non physical spirtual planes that dosent incarnate on earth, apart from higher guides and master guides etc, and to be honest does anyone truly believe there are any forms of life of a lower vibration than that which we find on our earth.
Demons only exist if fancyiful minds. Can any one evidance any different?

Theres often talk of time not existing in non physical worlds, ie a costant now. But i believe that people in spirit for example must have some concept of time, for example when i have astral travelled and have had telepathic conversations with those in spirit, it is comunicated as thought but is it is recieved in my mind as string of spoken words which in theory takes time.

Also and i realise this is open interpritaion but if spirit didnt have concept of time how would they know what time to turn up to communicate with a medium at a reading or sceance for example?

When you can project to the etheric level I would take notice. Obviously whatever it is it's not spiritual or astral, since it responds to magnetism and gravity (and sometimes can even hit/push you lightly). I have read the etheric level described as some kind of twilight zone/shadowland by those who have passed through it to the astral (no one seems to project to it regularly).

He even asked me to tell him what the 'white cloud' means and quite frankly, I have no idea.  It's the only one I've ever seen.  Have you any idea as to what it is?  Or am I in the wrong forum to be asking that question?
