I saw him playing one tune by malmsteen and it was very impressive.

By the way, have you seen his competition against another guy, both playing Canon in D?

Yup, it was also strange cause I didn't see people or hear anything, screams, nothing. Probably the real experience would have been way more frightening.

Actually that  day I wanted to see pictures of life on other planets, but before i went to bed a saw an amazing image of an iceberg and thought I'd wanna glide it down.

As a spirit I don't know, but your astral body is very alike to the physical one, but it can change into virtually anything, and take any shape, size, color...

I was projecting a few hours ago and requested to be taken to the Titanic, I wanted to feel some emotion. I opened my room door and there I was. For a moment I hesitated and asked myself if I really wanted to experience this, but then I was 'hey, what the hell...'. Walking down the corridor I got into some rooms, there was nobody, didn't see a person there. Staring out some windows I saw the water rising very quickly, but wait, what is this, there's daylight, as far as I know the Titanic sunk during the night. I thought about running till the end of the corridor but was afraid the waters would meet me up ahead, so I walked back to a room and waited. In less than 1 minute I was covered in water, I thought about swimming and breathing underwater as I often do, but wow I was really dead, I could 'smell?' the salty water in my lungs.

I was thinking, is there any possibility that my vision was real, and that the Titanic really sunk during the day? It would mean that the captain was careless and the ones who were supposed to save them were reckless. It makes sense that if it happened during the day they would try to stifle the case by paying a huge indemnity to the survivors to keep them quiet and avoid the anger of the families of the dead. It would have been one of the greatest blunders of history. I'm just conjecturing here, I have no idea of what happened there, can someone share more information?

Hey Kodemaster, interesting your eyes. I've met one person who also had eyes of different colors, but his was pink!?

I imagined you talking to God:

g: Now let's choose a few other physical features, the color of the eyes for example, what color do you want your eyes to be?

k: What colors can I have?

g: Well, there are many colors, green, brown..

k: They are both fine.

g: Alright.

just kidding, hope you don't mind

Hello Leilah, thank you, it's an electroacoustic steel-stringed guitar, an Eagle, it's nice, has deep tone and bright sound, but it's nothing like an Ibanez, or a Takamine

Actually you don't need to open your eyes, should not try, you can move away from your body and interact with the astral environment (touch things, clap hands...), specially if you can't see or hear, until you gain clarity, your sight should come as you stabilize, after that you can blink normally.

Playing at the farm here in Guararema, that day was the last time that we played there.

Sometimes they are not real noises, in the sense that they are not really taking place in the physical world, you might hear the bell ring at 3 am and you're sure there's no one there, so these noises are just distractions, and even if they were real you should be able to use them in your advantage to achieve a deeper state.

It's hard to explain how to do that but I will try. If you hear a dog barking, you can confuse yourself as you relax even more and loose the sense, imagine it's a person speaking. Car horns can be fantasized as an orchestra, loud bangs can be imagined as a distant drum sound... the aim is to delude your perception in order not to get disturbed by the interferences.

I've had experience of AP.ing with people constructing a 2 story building on the side of my house and actually hammering my room's wall, it was way too distressing, but when I focused enough I was able to do things I never thought were possible.

I don't mind if he is saying the truth or not sine it's not affecting my life in any way, but I admit that it would have been more interesting to me if he said that he could sleep a whole day away, or a whole week.

Once I've spoken to a person who said he had very little sleep, although he only considered sleep when he went to bed, he would spend 9 hours in 'deep meditation' while sitting in his living room.

Welcome to Dreams! / a "lucid dreaming" dream
January 30, 2006, 02:55:27
Well, there are many levels of lucidity. Sometimes people can be aware that they are in a dream but can't perform any special tricks, they only know that they are not awake so they carry out a more care-free attitude, but don't break the mode.

Other times they know they can be more daring, they can try to fly off high structures, face monster, but might still be afraid of injuries and may even doubt that they are truly dreaming.

On a higher lucidity level, you can perceive beyond the dream symbols, and deal directly with the emotions that they present. You might see an elephant and remember exactly where in your memory that image was stored, so you start seeing your dream as an outsider, cause you notice that your dream self is not really you, but a personification of your fears and desires.

On rare occasions I've had the clear sensation that my physical body would die if I chose not to come back, I was already on an astral environment, seemingly for too long, then there's an urgency to return, there's this unbearable pain, and it's like I was so deep that it took some time to get my body working properly again, the breathing, the circulation and the organs, it's crazy, when this happens I notice a strange taste in my mouth.

I think that if someone was to die of this it would be for complications while returning, and not exiting. The superstitious would say that the soul can get lost, the 'silver cord' ruptures, but it's more like a decision, and you take responsibility for sacrificing your body, it's not painless either.

Welcome to Dreams! / a "lucid dreaming" dream
January 29, 2006, 01:52:09
I never understand this difference that people say, to have a lucid dream or to dream up a lucid dream, to me it's all the same since you're dreaming anyway. It's not like a false awakening, or even weirder, to dream an Obe, it could happen though, if you dream you are asleep and in your sleeping dream you leave your dream body, what body would it be, subastral?

Actually, to dream you're sleeping is one of the techniques to achieve an Obe.

It sounds like you were lucid enough and managed to accomplish the things you set out to. Very nice experience. Congratulations for crossing the wall, you don't know how hard that is for me :exclamation:

James S, and all of them had remembrances of an Earthly life?

I like to think that we are touring across the Universe, there are so many places out there, my guess is that when people 'remember' things from a previous existence they are actually accessing memories from the earthly collective consciousness, thus scanning through sources they are more attuned to.

Hey Jason, you could have a friend do that for you, and then send the file to your email address or to a floppy disk. After that you can use this website to upload it: http://www.theimagehosting.com/.

I'm curious to see it.

Thanks, Heather. I'm glad to know that the message is comforting to you too. It has served it's purpose, and it's good to hear that from you, I have read your accounts.

I really want to learn everything I can about this phenomenon. I read many things and found many pictures of orbs on the internet, but I'm still to find one that looks slightly similar to the one I caught. Most people don't even believe in orb pictures anymore because they can very easily be created by moisture and dust, and indeed most of all the pictures I saw were very fuzzy. They all looked like cells seen through a microscope.

When I showed the picture to my mother and sister they thought it was interesting, I suggested to my mother that it could have been my father, and she was happy to know that. My sister first said that it was just a reflex, but later confirmed that it crossed her mind that it could have been our father. I have shown it to friends and they are always impressed, but no one has ever seen anything like this before so they can't say exactly what they think it is.

It's curious because there is a great possibility that we all are bubbles of light, so what happened to our minds that we can't recognize ourselves or one of us? This life experience is totally crazy, it makes us feel so good to learn things that we had forgotten.

Just for records, I've been still having dreams of my father after I've taken the picture, but haven't had a chance to have a lucid conversation with him until today.

So, we were in this car, both of us on the back seat, he had a purple towel that when wrung released a smoke that in contact with pollution smog would make it dissipate and clean the air. I found it very amusing. The car stopped and he opened the door to his right side and went out, I kept staring and would dismiss it as an ordinary dream if he simply walked away, but he didn't. He walked around and stood by my door. I got out and we shook  hands, I asked him "Was it you that sphere on the picture that I took?", he said "Yes, it was.", and I woke up.  who knows...

What works best for me is to try to read something in the dream, hold dream people or ask dream people to hold me, and touch dream structures.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Crawling Spider
January 13, 2006, 05:36:33
LoL, here's a very cool article about it:
http://www.northerneye.co.uk/sweep.htm

excerpt:

"They're also afraid of being misunderstood and they're confused by knowing the hallucinations are not real, yet feeling that they are. One woman kept seeing very large spiders crawling across her living room floor. Although she knew the spiders were not really there, she could not be certain about it and felt unable to invite her friends to the house".

Yes, I've also seen multicolored phosphorescent spiders when waking up. It's really all that. They are totally harmless. One of the best times I've ever had was when I saw little people dancing on my bed cover, I laughed so much that I cried. I later learned those were called lilliputian hallucination.
