Tense your whole body, laying down.

Start with your right arm, tense up & hold for a few seconds.
Then the left.
Then the right leg.
Then the left.
Then tense the stomach.
Then tense both arms.
Then both legs.
and the whole body.

Hit all the muscles you can, and hold each tense for a few seconds.

Supposed to relax your body really well. Other than the kind of silent mind meditating to relax, I like to daydream eyes closed, build up a place I'd like to be in my mind totally focused upon this creation in my mind and after a while when I stop daydreaming my mind is very clear, no wondering thoughts, might just be me, but I find it very relaxing  :-)

This technique is better for relaxing.

I have had some lucid dreams but I haven't gone to someone else's dream and help them become lucid. I know it is possible but I haven't tried it yet.

I haven't heard about mindfulness meditation. Is that possible that while doing mindfulness meditation, you can create images by using your 3rd eye...

Hey Karmic, I also try to visualize things... But sometime I cannot get the answers.. But your method is very good for practicing.

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: What makes a dream vivid

I also agree with Lionheart about vivid dream and I think you should contact him once.
#659
That is great. Haven't experienced anything like that.
#660
Yes, it is possible to meet people in astral realm.

If you realized that you are dreaming, it is called lucid dreams. You have to control your lucid dream by doing some reality checks like pinch your nose or rub your hands.

not if you do it (like many do) in the middle of the night after 3-4 hours of sleep, it's called the Wake-back-to-bed method and many are highly successful with it (be it with direct or indirect methods), it's also recommended by many book authoring "AP gurus" as the best method for beginners
I haven't tried this method but it seems like most successful method. I will definitely try this tonight.

I know that these types of dreams really disturbed you. May be your father wants to tell you something. You should try to contact with him.

Meditation is a great start. You have to concentrate and relax your body and mind. This will help you a lot.
#665
I haven't experienced these things. You have faced very horrible experiences. Your post is very interesting.
#666
That is quite interesting post. I haven't heard that type of energy before.

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Lucid Dream or not?
August 07, 2012, 01:13:15
If you realized that you were dreaming then it was a lucid dream. In a first dream, you thought that you were dreaming. It means you were in lucid dream. In second dream, when you dream starts, you knew that you were dreaming again. According to me, both were your lucid dreams.

I used to read horoscopes predictions. But I don't believe in it, because sometimes it is absolutely right and sometimes not.
#669
I don't have any idea that what it is. Do you have any photo of it?

You don't have to walk...  :-D

When I do morning inductions I get up for longer... sometimes I won't induce for 4 hours. 10 minutes is the minimum time I have done it.

it's called the WBTB (wake back to bed) method by the way.

If I don't get up I tend to have a really vivid dream... It just seems more successful.

I also agree with Bedeekin. This is a best method.

I think it was a wonderful experience for you. lol
#672
Congrats for your first OBE and thanks for sharing your experience with us.

That is great if you have heard the voice of your snoring. I haven't heard about that before.

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Was this a lucid dream?
August 01, 2012, 01:46:30
Ya, I agree with Xanth. If you were aware that you were dreaming then it was a lucid dream otherwise it was a normal dream.
