Hey guys, im back! Ok, ill get right to it. So, last night right... er.. this morning actually (up late hehe). Hot night, was kinda hard to get to sleep (aside from the insomnia part too   ) but after... gosh, 2 days without sleep, I was a little tired. Slept ok I guess, I cant remember the dream I was having but I remember at the end of it, where I kinda realised I was dreaming. I was laying in a bed, I couldnt tell you if it was mine or not. But the second I realised I was dreaming I felt myself falling and woke up in bed   . It happened twice that night. Any thoughts?

Or if its the audio you need help with, I do have experience in editing mp3'   . With Adobe Audition   . Or with the video... I have a fair bit of experience with that. Usin Adobe Premiere Pro

funny you mention the sexual thing. I had a projection yesterday and when I was in the RTZ I decided to try and fly into space. On the way up I had a sexual thought and then suddenly I plummetted towards the ground at a very high speed. lol it was actually a bit freaky falling from so high, it was just wierd that I lost my flight control.

Yes, the Bible does say this, but it also does say to seek out the Holy Spirit....  am I seeing a contradiction here? I guess it comes down to your interpretation of it. Which is one of the reasons there is so much variation in beliefs. People interpret things differently. But I guess my point is that dont just allow yourself to  be constrained by the narrow minded views of one person, heck, I know of a pastor in my local area who recently condemned The Chronicles Of Narnia and ordered everyone in his church to burn any copies they have of it. But rather, come to your own conclusions.

Some consider a belief in OBEs is an offense to GOD but the church has lead to many problem in Ireland including child abuse by priests who never had normal relationships with women.

I don't think people should suffer because they didn't go to mass every sunday.  It's just not that bad.  I have to go but still.  If you don't believe in GOD you still don't deserve to BURN IN HELL FOREVER.  I hope we all get reincarnated anyway...

Jason, the thing you need to remember about Christianity is that there are HUGE differences in opinions about different things, be they Bible related or just everyday life related. Eg: can gays be Christians? Some would argue no, it is a sin, others would argue against. Which is why I have given up on conforming to the ideals and beliefs of a whole and conforming to my own beliefs. Which is what you need to do. Dont just let someone else tell you that OBE'ing is evil, make up your own mind.

As for the hell comment, my belief is that in rejecting God, you reject your father, and when you reject your father, you can no longer be a part of the family. Which is what I believe this whole life thing is about. God is having a family. But then again, I do have some concerns about that. Like what about a remote village in the middle of nowhere that hasnt got a clue about religion? Should they be condemned to hell for all eternity? Surely not.

But thats just me, as I said, you gotta come up with your own beliefs.

Ok, so for the last few weeks as I mentioned in my other post ive been trying to have an OBE with little success other than greatly improved dream recall. But that all changed last night. I was determined I was going to get out. So I lay on my bed, went through all that relaxation stuff and all the things you do before hand. Nothing happened, not even vibes. So I rolled over and thought... well... you can OBE through a dream right? So I just started chanting in my head, I will remember, I will become aware and concious, over and over.

So I fall asleep after a while and then I have this dream. Ill spare you the boring details of what it was about lol. But at the end of it, I was in my garage at home, why I dont know. But all of a sudden, awareness rushed over me and I knew I was only dreaming. Bingo! I thought, and had this instinctive urge to fly. Of course, being still in the dream I did.. up. At that moment, I felt my eyes open (any ideas? Astral body's eyes maybe?), I also felt my astral body breaking free of my physical and then everything went black. I was really excited because this was the furthest I'd ever gone. But then.... I could suddenly see myself in the blackness, my crumpled up body on the "ground".. blood.... dead. So, naturally I kinda freaked and then woke up   with my arms and legs tingling like mad, and they kinda felt crooked for a second [shrugs]. So I figure this was just my imagination up to its dirty tricks again! Ahwell, im sure ill get out sooner or later hehe. Damn you imagination!

[Please, everybody, do you think it would be possible for you to have a "meeting" in the astral plane with another person, and exchange information between the two of you? Have you ever tried that?]

Well i think there is the problem of time when meeting somebody. One would assume that two persons have to be out at the same time in the same place and both need clear conciousness in order to meet . That, i think is pretty hard to do. therefore i would assume it is easier to do experiements with objects then with meeting people.

On the other hands this may not really be so! Maybe our understanding of the astral, consciousness and time is much to limited. is time really linear in the astral? maybe not, maybe i can meet you today and you meet me tomorrow?! Well, as  a physicist I don't like time travel that much so..........Well, actually i like them, but you know, I don't wanna think about them too much

Yeah, but it wouldnt matter though right? I read somewhere that time really has no meaning on the astral plane, you can go to the past or even see the future. (I could be totally wrong here, so yeah, no quoting me on this!) So even if the other person projected "tomorrow" just the desire to meet them would mean you could?
But if thats true... then that could also mean that you could both just arrive at totally different times and still meet because you time travelled...

Vivek, yeah, subterranean seems the way to go, an above ground facility would be too hard to keep secret. As for weather Area 51 is the place where the real research happens. Who knows, guess one of you folks who can actually have OBE's should go check it out.

Yeah, even if I dont OBE, at least it helps me sleep... and for an insomniac, thats something! lol.

Hey everyone,
I'm new here, just thought I'd say hi. Im kinda new to this whole OBE thing, but it really does fascinate me. I've been trying for a couple of weeks every night without much success. Though I have noticed that since I started trying I've dreamt pretty much every night. Which is unusual for me lol.

Last night was probably the closest ive come to having an OBE. My body went numb, I started to feel really light and at one point I could move my hand whilst my physical hand stayed still (im assuming I was moving my "astral" hand). Unfortunately this got me pretty excited and kinda prevented me from going much further lol.

Anyway, just sayin hi. Maybe tomorrow ill be able to post a success story .
