I've just been introduced to phasing by interviewing "knightlight". The interview is up on my site. I think the concept is valid. One thing I've been doing for so many years, litterally, is focusing on my body, awaiting the vibrations. Because all of my focus was on my body, of course I could not project.

With phasing, as I understand it, you totally relax, then focus your attention on the blackness in front and all around you. That is where your attention goes. No focus on the physical body. From there you wait for hypnogogic imagery to appear. When that happens you are in the right stage to begin what is know as the run-down. That means a typical activity you enjoy. Like for me I imagine myself swinging on a swing. Now the way it works is, your attention is so focused on this new scene that you fall right into it, as if it was a lucid dream. It will be that real.

Well I'm working on practising it so I'll keep you posted here.

I have achieved OBEs while in the sleep state. I've also had lucid dreams.

My specific question is how do I prolong the vibrations? Particularly when I'm practising in the afternoon. They currently only last a couple of seconds. Am I focusing too much on the vibrations, therefore stopping them. Is fear involved? What do I need to do to exend the length of the vibrations?

Personally, when I try an OBE session, I get as far as noticing slight vibrations that only last a couple of seconds. How do I move past this sudden truncation of vibrations and have them last longer? Looking forward to your answers.

Hey Froglet,

The anxiety may just be the vibrations. Think of yourself riding on a roller coaster and just ride with it. Don't label the sensations as anything, just flow with the experience.

Hey Joker,

Are you relating to your physical body somehow during this process? Try to totally let go of any thought of the physical body and associate with the astral body.

Wow! Your experience sounds totally amazing. I'm looking forward to having such experiences myself one day.

Hey Tvos,

I'll just say that one of your guesses is right. Nothing is final until I have the interview tape in hand but the plans are in the works. It will be very exciting.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / NDE

Dear Jub Jub,

I'll tell you about my near death experience here.

I was driving my Jeep on the highway when a Ford Explorer coming from the other direction hit me head on. The driver fell asleep. I don't remember the crash at all. All I remember is this static view of cars lined up behind and in front. It as a 360 degree vision. It was full color and very memorable. The vision kept haunting me days and weeks after the crash. I new I had an NDE. I started exploring the concept of out-of-body experiences. I read books, visited websites and joined forums. My NDE was the starting point on my road to have concious OBEs.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / vide camera

Dear Tvos,

I use a Sony DV camera. Then I use Pinnacle software to transfer it to an .avi file. Then I use another program to convert it to a Flash video file and put it up on my site.

Once you've moved into your new house would you like to make a video so I can put it up on my site? It would be great to interview you. Let me know.

Hi everyone,

I would like to put some video interveiws with OBE experts on my website. Do you consider yourself proficient at having OBEs on command? I want to interview you. What you will need to do is get a video camera, either borrow or rent a DV camera, and set it up facing you. Then I'll phone you and ask you questions on the phone. You repeat those questions for the viewing audience and take your time answering. The video may be up to an hour long depending on the questions and answers. I will put a link to your website if you have one or books or articles you've written.

Looking forward to some inquiries. Just PM me on this board if you are interested in being interviewed.

My name is Don and I'm facinated with out-of-body experiences. I've been at it for a few years. I've been a member here before but haven't posted in such a long time I've forgotten my login information.

Below is a site I've just created with some video clips of me offering suggestions on how to have out-of-body experiences and lucid dreams. Take a look and please give me your feedback.
