Welcome to Dreams! / i saw all of you!!!
March 28, 2004, 18:49:03
When you say "meeting", you do mean your image of what we would look like, right?  Or is it actually what we do look like (which would be unknown to you) ?

Because as you should know, Nay is right.  I am so darn cute.  It's crazy.  Even I can't believe it.

Sounds like there's going to be more gullibility in this one.  I just got a message in my inbox today with the message "hi", and attachment included, and no return address.  I had no idea what it was, so I opened it and got a virus!

Well, that's what most people would say.  As soon as I even saw that there was an email I deleted it, because as we should all know by now, I do not get email.

Joe:

We have a forum dedicated to what you are similarly looking for.  Had you gone there you would have noticed that a while back we discontinued topics about this.  I am locking this topic, not deleting it, to show you where it moved and why it was locked.  In a day or so I'll delete it alltogether.

~Squeek

I would like to just supply a warning:

Keep this on the "topic" or it will be locked.  Kakkarot has made some good points towards the question.  Picking up cars is pretty much irrelevant.  Besides, this topic was started over 5 months ago.

No more one-liners thanking another person or making a generally irrelevant comment.  Those that exist here already I shall soon delete.

Hmm... over 150 posts and not a single one from Digital Blasphemy.  Well, that's why I'm here!

(Useless stuff used to exist here! Not anymore!)

Linkin Park - It's Going Down

It's going down,
The rhythm projects 'round the next sound,
Reflects the complex hybrid dialect now.
Detect the mesh of many elements compressed down,
The melting pot of a super-future X-style.
The combination of a vocal caress
With lungs that gasp for breath
From emotional stress
With special effects
And a distorted collage
Carefully lodged between beats of rhythmic barrage

It's going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey now,
It's going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey now,
It's going down

Put it up
I said it goes like this
And you do it like this
It's going down
Put it up
I said it goes like this
And you do it like this

It's going down

Once again it is
Composed sentences all together venomous
The four elements of natural force
Projected daily through the sound of the source
Everybody on board with this blend
The sword with the pen
The mightiest is the weapons
Swinging right from the chin
The elevate of mental states
Long gone with the wind
To defend men for shoddy imitation pretends
It's going down
Stalence emulation readily
Trekking through the weaponry
Of the pure pedigree
Cleverly seeing through whatever is ahead of me
Whatever the weather be
We invent the steadily
It's going down to sub-terrestrial high
I rhyme regiment that's calling the shots
Execution of collaborative plots
Ready to bring the separation of style to a stop

It's going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey now,
It's going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey now,
It's going down

Put it up
I said it goes like this
And you do it like this
It's going down
Put it up
I said it goes like this
And you do it like this

It's going down
X-men 'bout to blast off world wide
(Yo it's request only)
X-men 'bout to blast off world wide
(It's built from scratch,
Album in stores soon)
'Bout to blast off world wide
And you do it like this

It's going down
Put it up
I said it goes like this
And you do it like this
It's going down
Put it up
I said it goes like this
And you do it like this

Yea... tough lyrics to get color coded and spaced and such... there's even 2 versions to this song.  The one I heard live (I'm AWESOME) had a completely different chorus, and the X-men (X-ecutioners, LPs friend band) weren't in it.  Oh well, it's a great song.  w00t.

When Adrian sees it necessary to have an additional number of Moderators on the forum, all of the other mods take votes on who would best fill the spot.  So, asking doesn't really help, it's more towards actions taken on the site (In my opinion, at least)

You know what I figured out sitting here just now... We failed to mention some of the hottest releases to-be for 2004.  I can easily give the list of games I will seriously consider purchasing that I have heard of as of yet.

Half-Life 2 (That's a given)
Naruto 2 (Yay for ninjas)
Kingdom Hearts 2? (I know it ain't gonna be out in 2004... but I can hope can't I?!  Oh yea... I need to buy a Ps2 for that too.  That's how much I WANT IT. [|)])
Super Monkey Ball 3??? (It's in consideration!)
Sonic Heroes 2 (It's in the making!)
Final Fantasy (All of them.  I want to finally play at least one, if not the best one first.)
Mario Party 5
Mario Golf
Super Smash Brothers 3 (Rumor? Truth? Who knows.)
007: Everything or Nothing (This looks awesome)
DDR 10th Mix

Now for some well-deserved Screens.

(really old ddr...sorry)

!!!

More later!

Ah, you misread my post.  In the videos at the link I provided, they have Lee and Shikamaru more than once, but they never WIN their fights.  Lee loses to Gaara and Kiba, and Shikamaru loses to Ino and Naruto.

Also, I checked out the link you provided.. I may have to check out the game later...after all my "work" [;)]

ME!

Also, mazdaaf, I see that you like Naruto... You gonna get any of the games? There's already one each for GBA and Gamecube, and by the end of the year there should be another for each. Personally, I'm not too big in the Cel-Shaded 2-d fighter games, but if the price is right, I'll buy it. I already beat the Naruto GBA game... not worth the download. (Cough).

Well, once again I spoke before I knew anything of the game.  Not only will I buy this game, but I will tell you how awesome it looks.  This works much better if you know about the fights on the show.

First, it ain't 2-d.  Second, it's FOUR PLAYER.  Third, the Cel-Shading makes it look better.  Here's the keypoints I noticed in the videos I got from IGN.

1 - Kawarimi is awesome.  Basically, during the opponents combo, you can pull off a Kawarimi.  You go POOF and there's a log there, and you're dashing in from behind them!  WHOO!

2 - There is no cheap move.  There is a way to dodge ANYTHING.  If you're in the air, you can still do something, unlike other fighting games where an aired up opponent can be juggled forever.

3 - Shikamaru is in it.  That alone makes it worth the 60 bucks you need to buy and have it shipped to your house, as they don't think it will get any support here in the US.

4 - It's a NINJA FIGHTING GAME.  Ninjas.  Ninjas rule.  You don't have these crappy Cat-People like in Tekken, or Possessed Warriors with big swords like in Soul Calibur ([:(] Nightmare was so cool... as was Kilik), you have a bunch of ninjas!  With Kunai and Shuriken and such!  WHOA!

http://media.cube.ign.com/media/614/614639/vids_1.html

Overall, this game looks awesome.  Problems: Neither of the videos has Lee or Shikamaru win.  [:(]  Those two are the best, and they both lose.  Waah.

Ooh, DDR is the best game I have ever seen [|)].  I only played twice so far, once when I had no idea what was happening, and once after I loved the game more and more.  The second time though, it was on a pad that wasn't secure at all [:(].  I'm going to Busch Gardens this summer and spending an exorbitant amount of money on the DDR machine there.  My friend just got a game similar to DDR called Frequency.  It was like 12 bucks. It's for Ps2 only, but it's so very cool if you like DDR.  The concept is to create music by playing notes on individual instruments.. It's basically like playing notes on a huge 3-d octagonal music sheet...like so.

As you can see, you can use the L1, R1, and R2, or the Square, Triangle, Circle buttons to hit the gems.

Otherwise, my gaming has seriously decreased.  There aren't any console games I really want to have right now (Waiting for DDR for Gamecube), and PC games are not my style.  Soo, I downloaded "Stepmania", a take-off from the classic DDR games.  It's basically the same thing, but you use fingers instead of feet.  I'm getting really really good; like good enough that I can AAA rank Heavy songs and beat ONI difficulty songs. (//www.stepmania.com)  You need songs/stepfiles downloaded to play them, and those are found here: //www.bemanistyle.com.  (Bemani is down for a few weeks...the owner took a vacation.)

Also, I beat practically every song on this Flash version of DDR (//www.flashflashrevolution.com).  I'm MreSqueek there... just wait until I'm in the Top 50! [|)][|)].

Also, mazdaaf, I see that you like Naruto... Welcome to Astral Chat! / Wacky food combinations...
February 24, 2004, 19:23:45
Ah... I remember the good ol' days, with bologna and peanut butter sandwiches.  I seriously used to eat them daily, as they were absolutely delicious.

Not "weird" in a sense, but Mouthwatering!!  Whip-cream topped chocolate milk!  Add in chocolate chips for added goodness!

Bah.  I was never one for really insane food combos... I hate CHICKEN, so I can't really make any good combos taste like chicken [|)]

Speaking of why I am so awesome...

http://www.geekfocus.com/content/view/4/32/

This has all the upgraded PINGU games to date.  Even an entire gallery of jokes about the game.  This game grew fast.  Too fast.

Have fun playing #6, my favorite!

I know he didn't mention Australia...  but since he's from there and I "faked knowing nothing about it", .... get it now?  Us CRAZY Americans are supposed to not know anything about the outside world... get it now?

I can't simplify it anymore than that.

It's still a funny joke, even without an Aussie reference (Sorry big J)

Bwahahahahaha, awesome joke.

But just what is this... "Australia" you speak of?  Is it a continent? Country? BOTH?!

Well, the idea is OK, that analogy is a bit off.

Students getting answers for the test makes the test irrelevant, so your analogy states that your test is irrelevant.

Teachers give their students multiple choice, fill-in-the blank, or even written or vocal tests sometimes.  These are the types of tests the teacher gives.  If you were to test, that would be your method of testing.

...What did I just say...? [B)]

No ... wait ...

MOO!

Darn it... what is that phrase...?

I think it has some vowels... a few consonants...maybe forms into a word or two...  Bah.  No idea.

I'll just leave it here for now... if we really wanted to be correct here I would have to move it post by post and I don't even think I can do that...  So, just let this one fizzle out eventually and it will shift back into that one, OK?

Cool beans.

Actually, it isn't.  Looking works.

Just because it ain't getting any new posts doesn't make it "Gone".  It was on the top of the first page of "Prophecy and Divination", where it's always been. (Under the 2 stickies, of course.)

I won't delete it, but in the future (and even now), if you include what the site is all about before linking people there, it gives them a better understanding as to why they are going there.  You can use the Edit Reply button () to change your topic post and include this without the use of another post.
Thanks!

PS - 'Tis a nice site.

Boy you have no idea how long I was thinking to try to phrase that.

Ah, what a lovely read.  And I have to agree with her!   This story / article (Whatever it is) reminds me of a section of lyrics I used to have in my signature.

"You can live if you're willing to,
Put a stop to just what's killin you."

Linkin Park - Part of Me.  Linkin Park is the awesomeness.  Anyway...

I hope people have an open mind while reading this, it really is a great read!

Thanks Nay!

Good call.  This topic has been around since JULY 23rd of last year.  This guy has since left (Forcibly or willingly, I don't know).  He caused a ruckus and that ended.

By the way, the () Edit Reply button allows you to edit your old posts with any addons or changes that need to be added.  I did it for you...and sorry if I messed the original context up.

I think crazy's posts were originally a joke... It's still funny combined, right?  And if not a joke... then I don't know what it is.

This is incredible; one topic wasn't enough for your self-righteous complaining? Listen who are you to judge Fat_Turkey? OH! Yeah you're the Fat_Turkey, that's right.... (Yes I know that says nothing, my point!)

One topic describes his views on how the forum could be better by reviving the old ways of it.  The other describes those that annoy him and why.  That seems like two separate thoughts to me.

I've always respected F_T because he tells it like it is.  He speaks out for the people that don't want to.  Of course, you can't ALWAYS agree with someone, and I haven't always agreed with him.  But when he "rants" about things like this, and you read it unbiasedly, you see his point of view.  I completely agree with his statements here, and the other topic.  I don't need to make my beliefs known again and again, so I won't go ahead and rant about what I think about all this.

quote:
There are two ways the make a point, polite or like you, aggressive and offensive. Cut it out Fat_Turkey.

If aggressive is the only way to make someone listen, then it's the only choice to make.  You can't deny his freedom of public forum speech (Only Adrian can [;)])

Just chill out and try to see this from his point of view, as he has to try to see it from everybody else's.
