Hello vpsean, welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

That your friend had a scary experience, doesn't mean that the next one will be also that way. If I was her I would wait a bit and then try again, and see how an OBE goes without the brainwave entrainment. Perhaps they are too intense for her.

Hi Zin, welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

Something I found on the net:
QuoteThe oversoul is the combination of all your life experiences, all the lives you have lived all the things you have learned. The oversoul is the collected knowledge of all natural lessons and wisdom. It is believed that all people are born to learn, to experience and connect.  "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience" Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. The belief is that all people must strive to change and become more then they are now. That with each lesson comes more understanding of our purpose for being. It is also believed that with meditation you can speak to your oversoul and gain insight into your personal path.

Funny.
I think she was trying out her flying skills while out of body, and she wasn't very good yet...

Clever. I read it in order, so I was like, " Why are they making me read this upside down!

Yeah, I almost pulled a muscle in my neck, reading it.  :-D

I still want to try to go there, but alas I can't control to where I go yet. And as soon as I am out of body, I forget completely about my plans.  :-D

Anyone with experience in this? I would really love to read about it...

Thank you so much,

Cheers[]

Hi, I had a very interesting phasing in March 2010, in space. Here it is:

It was in the morning and although I was very awake I didn't get up but tried to fall asleep again. After about 1 minute I started to see the flashing strobelight that I have mentioned before. This time it became very bright and the next thing I saw was a phasing screen, it was space, with stars. I have a lot of phasing screens but most of the times they are very short and before I can think:"I want to go there" they are already gone. But this time it stayed longer. I got very exited and started to stretch my awareness towards it just like I did the previous times. I felt like there was a resistance, like I was pulled back to my head so I really had to strain myself to keep my consciousness there in the screen.

Then suddenly I shot into space like a catapult. I had such great speed that I didn't see the stars as you normally do, but as stripes. Just like the Enterprise going into warpspeed. (Yes I did watch a lot of StarTrek). I decided to go slower to have a better look at the stars and slowed down, but not too long because soon after I was again speeding like crazy through space. I liked it a lot and enjoyed this special feeling (I didn't have a body). Then in the distance I saw something large and blue precisely in the direction I was going. It came closer very quickly and seemed to be some huge blue entity. Just in time I moved to the left and saw that thing dissappear into the distance on my right hand side.

But then the next moment there were a lot of these creatures everywhere. I guess I was in their territory , and I had to zigzag to avoid them. Because of the enormous speed I couldn't anymore and flew right into one. I didn't feel an impact, I could have blacked out, I don't know. Because the next moment I remember was that I was somewhere bobbing and rocking from the left to the right on and on, very slowly like I was carried by waves of a calm sea. It felt wonderful and relaxing. It made me think I was on a huge waterbed. Then it was like I felt blankets on top of me and they were quite heavy. I thought I was back in my body and probably could roll out. But I had to really make an effort to pull these blankets to the side and that brought me back to my body.  :-)

I look forward to reading about your adventures.  :-)

Hi Nym-ph, welcome to the Astral Pulse!

You had a very nice first OBE, I hope many will follow. The Astral Pulse will be a great help to improve your chances for having non-physical experiences!
And your English is very good. :-)

You shouldn't let these stories scare you. You will be missing out on very special experiences. There are far more positive OBE-stories, why focus on the scary ones? Visualize that your OBE's will be positive and they will be positive and very interesting!  :-)

Hi Afghan,
Do you want proof? Or do you want experience? You can only find proof for yourself, and you still won't know if it's "real". Or you can continue and experience  how it magical it feels  to be in a different dimension/world, and all the new exciting things you can do, see and feel there. And to enjoy it, even if you think they are product of your own mind.

You are the only one to make the choice to continue or stop, but I say: Take a chance!  :-)

And, welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-D

It's a good sign to have false awakenings, you can become lucid and have an OBE from there.
For me it took approx. 8 months to have my first conscious OBE, but it was not induced. Most of them are semi-spontaneous ones. Here's the link to the post of my first one.

Video says it all really... well, errr... Tom say it all.  :)
Enjoy.

It's a pity that the sound quality is not good, I'm having problems hearing what he is saying. He doesn't really articulate very well either... :-(
