I've never seen anything like this...  I mean I know there's a lot of evidence that points to aliens landing on earth/making contact/it all being hidden but woah...

Anyone think it's kind of weird that this video is just floating around on google?  Then again I suppose if someone wanted to hide something they'd do so in plain sight...  Has anyone found Area 51 while AP'ing?  I'd imagine that - even to astral bodies - it's guarded somehow.  But still, it would be interesting to know if any one of us have "walked" the halls.

I don't suppose you could lead us through the steps you take in meditation that lead you to this "high" could you?  I've personally never used drugs, I'd like to try pot.  I was pretty cool with the idea of acid a while ago, but then I met a dude who had one bad trip almost ten years ago, was perfectly normal before that but has basically been permanently screwed...  He's just really messed up.  I'd rather not have that, I'd still like the "high" or trip though...

Personally, I think any "doomsday" theory is a bunch of you know what.  Y2K was supposed to really hurt us.

Y2K really hurt, huh?

It's all just people raving about something.  If there is any sort of change, then I think it will be a spiritual change for the good.  Maybe aliens will come visit us (or at least make a more public appearance).  But I think if anything really happens it's more about it happening coincidentally, not because it's 2012

to start of get a feather, a peice of paper, besure that the feather is not white.
next begain practiceing telekenisis by staring at it tell you see both the paper and the feather begain to merge, if you see this happin then you are seeing it's aura if it's a black feather then it'll be white and so on.

I have to ask because I have no experience with telekinesis, but why can't the feather be white?   :?

So through meditation I've heard of people focusing on things that they want to have, and then those things manifesting themselves in the real world (ie money, fame, etc).  My question is, would this work with looks?  What I mean is, could I imagine myself looking like Fabio or something during meditation and then eventually notice me looking like what I'm picturing?  I personally don't really care to "edit" myself, I'm just curious  :-) (Hope this is the right board, I'm new here)

Thanks for reading

EDIT:  I should change this to say I have no interest to "edit" myself...  Unless I could somehow make myself grow an epic beard quickly, haha.

I know this topic is very old but the post above really answered my question and brought up another in me.  Because I'm new and I'm not really sure of this forums etiquette, please just tell me to make a new topic next time or if old bumps are okay  :-)

But what I'm curious is...  What if I don't really want an afterlife?  I guess I view life as an ongoing sentence...  Then death is the period.  I want that period.  Not now, not for a long time, but at most I'd like to stay as a non-physical being and just learn until I was done learning.  Then after that, sleep.  For good.  If that's what I want and imagine, will that be my afterlife?

(once again, I'm really sorry if this is a thread too old to bump.  I can create a topic but I figured this was relevant...  so I bumped it.)

Thanks, reading here has really helped a lot.  I tried something new last night when I was meditating, and it seemed to really push me forward but not give me an OBE.  I have faith in it though.  I'm not sure if anyone has done this, but it's sort of a visualization where I think about my room sitting from my desk until I get it crystallized in my mind.  I think think back to Einsteins theory of relativity and my personal theories on time and space and how everything is based on perspective, so I just will myself to be where I'm "seeing" from.  I really noticed myself being pulled out of my body to the right, which is exactly where my desk chair is.

P.S.  How do any of you talk to other people about AP?  I kind of brought the subject up with my girlfriend of two years today and she just wrote it off at the beginning (like I did, to be honest).  If I can project sometime soon, should I just go to where she is and watch her for a bit, then mention something about what she was wearing tomorrow?  I guess I want her to at least realize AP's existence, but I don't want to be a creeper.

Plus to be honest when I leave my body I have a lot of other things I want to do, not just fly around.  I'd really like to experience other dimensions and if I discover what afterlife really is, or if even it is relative.  I'd also really like to try to replicate the time pausing effect I had when I was much younger, and eventually try to move back in time...  But all these things have probably been done.  I just want to achieve them for myself.  Seeing stuff would be fun too though,  :-D.

WOW....you are very ambitious :-D Make sure you stay focused on your school work. That having been said I have seen several posts that refer to getting stuck as you have mentioned. You need to make sure that you are totally relaxed and when this happens keep trying. Try doing a search for getting stuck, and don't get discouraged. It can be a slow process for some.

From the time I was young I've always had an interest in learning and always thought that ignorance was the only real sin one could ever commit.  My goal is to make an impact on this world not only when I'm here, but when I'm gone as well

I tried meditation without any of the bbeats, but I didn't really get that far.  I should probably note that I'm unclear on what type of "vibrations" some feel when they're leaving their own body.  Is it just a subtle thing, or is it like your physical self is really shaking?  I'm assuming it's more of an inner thing, as I've felt that, but I'm just not sure.

P.S. Has anyone who's good at AP ever been able to make something happen with time?  IE slow it down, reverse it, or stop it?  Just wondering if anyone has ever had an experience like mine.

Okay, this is my first post so I'd like to say hello  :-) I'm 17 years old and I began meditation for a while hoping I could achieve an OBE and because currently my life is pretty stressful I figured if anything quite time would be good for me.  While the meditation did help calm me, I began to be discouraged after a few weeks because I was not getting anywhere close to any sort of projection.

So school's started up again, so with it being my senior year I'm now balancing all my schoolwork, extra curricular things and all the things I have to do to apply to college.  So I'm pretty stressed.  I began meditation again but I'm just not finding near the same results I was a few months ago.  In an effort to begin to project, I bought the astral projection/creative free flow MP3 pack from UnexplainableStore.net (I think that was the website).  My problem now seems to be that I can be really relaxed and almost exit my body - but every time I get into this deep state I feel my legs and arms float up and out of my body, then my chest.  Everything's going well, right?  Wrong.  As soon as my entire bodies out but not my head, it seems like my head acts as an anchor and no matter how hard I "pull" I can't get it out, then I usually just fall back into my body.  What's going on?  Does anyone have any advice that they can give me?  It's not like I don't believe in AP, I've always had the thought that the mind and the body where two separate things and the mind could leave the body at will, even before I'd heard of AP.

Please help.  I'd really like to have an OBE, I've only ever had one and it was when I was very young but it was different than anything I've ever read of anyone having.  What was weird is that I was out of my body but time was actually stopped.  It only lasted a few seconds and I didn't really get to explore, but I remember it perfectly.  I'd like to have another experience like this for personal reasons and also because I'm really considering physics as a major and if somehow I could undoubtedly prove conscious thought has an effect on reality it would change how people think all over the world, more than likely for the better.
