Waking up in SP means you can go straight to the exit technique instead of having to spend time getting into a decent trance and trying to disassociate from your body. It saves time and removes all the doubt about whether it's safe to try and move yet.

Sorry, I kind of assumed you already meditated and did some sort of energy work.

Google "midfulness of breathing" to get you started meditating. To get started on energy work look for New Energy Ways by Robert Bruce. The pdf is easy to find. It'll teach you how to get rid of energy blockages.

I didnt do much with it after it stopped working for the dream stuff. But now that I think about it, they were all basically to make me have lots of lucid dreams and obe's. And not a very long time later I was having having lots of spontaneous obe's and LD's.

I used it for the gym as well. I lost a stone in weight, got toned and a six pack. Of course I also put the work in as well but I'd never put that kind of work in before.

Generally a trance will have a sense of heaviness and it will be difficult to move. Things kinda slow down for me.

If I'm lying down I'll tend to get relaxed but if I'm sitting up, my body will get pretty stiff and movement becomes difficult. I experience different types of trance state depending on what I'm trying to do.

Lol they often dont turn out the way we intend.

It's one of those be careful what you wish for things.

You are becoming fully aware when you astral project. You're becoming fully aware of the physical.

If you use the words am and while instead of become and when you might get better results. The way you phrased it implies some change should happen when you start to project/dream.

I find using the present tense works best with affirmations. Mine almost always start with, "I am".

You didnt state what you become aware of. You could have said, "I am fully aware of my astral projections during sleep." But that doesnt state that you'll be lucid. With my first attempt I was aware throughout the whole night but I wasnt lucid for most of it. You can be aware of stuff without having you're waking consciousness and objectives.

And then you've got to take into account what you'll remember.

It's a balance between trying to keep it short and to the point and being as precise as you can with meaning. I ended up trying several short sigils at the same time,stating all the different things I wanted. Thats when it stopped working. Havent tried them for dreaming/projecting since then.

I've also realised that I wouldnt want to be lucid during all my dreams and projections. Dreams are important. They have a purpose. Certain things wouldnt happen if you were always lucid.

There's a lot to take into account. Sigilry isnt as simple as it seems.

All you really need to do is set your intention. If before bed you can decide to have an obe then you'll have one during the night. But it's more than just saying in your mind that you're going to have one. You have to know it's going to happen. And I dont mean just convince yourself that it's def going to happen. It's hard to explain but it's like when you truly make a decision the thing has sort of already happened in the future and you just know.

For me, no matter what the method, the most important part of the projection proccess is setting your intention. The hardest part for me is finding the motivation. I'm not a very motivated person. But when I can summon the will to set my intention and I know, it always happens.

Dude, write you own. Use the same affirmation sure, but write it out and draw your own sigil.

Yeah i-doser is built on bwgen. They literaly just tried loads of random frequencies and thought, "this one makes you feel wierd, lets call it peyote and try to cash in".

If not an ordinary lucid dream I'd say it's a test to see if you've gotten past the urge to go around feeling chicks up. Some guides might be wanting to take you somewhere molestation isnt acceptable.

I got instant results from the technique PR posted. I wrote a big post in that thread about it but it got deleted when the server went down.

I used "I am fully aware when I'm(either said sleeping or dreaming cant remember)"

I spent the entire night having lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, false awakenings and RTZ projections. It was the longest night of my life. Didnt feel like I slept at all.

I just drew the sigil on a square pice of paper then held it in my hand and energized it. Then I held it up to my brow chakra and sucked energy through the sigil into my third eye. I then either put it under my pillow or ate it, I cant remember. It was ages ago I did this and I did a lot of other sigils after it too, experimenting with each one.

I got a bit excited by the success of the first one and went a bit overboard with sigil making. It quickly stopped working. I was making like two or three a night. I had to leave it for a long time before sigils would work for me again. So dont go over the top making loads of sigils.

I'd give i-doser a miss. At least if you're planning on paying for it. I tried it and it wasnt impressed. There are plenty of better binaural out there.

You'll want to take some choline with the galantamine.

Nice one.

To convert it to an AP try flying off to the stars at super high speed or falling backwards. I fall backwards. That gets me to the void and I go from there. You've also got Franks slats method. It just got bumped recently so shouldnt be hard to find.

To convert it to an RTZ projection try and become aware of your physical body. Theres a knack to doing it without just waking yourself up. Cant really explain it.

Personally, and this just goes for me, I cant get anywhere near the right state to project while playing music in my head. It's like my brainwaves are wrong or something.

I'm a musician, and if I spend too much time writing music in the evening then I have non-stop music playing in my head all by itself and I struggle to sleep, project, meditate or anything.

Wasnt the blackout thing. That's more of a fade out for me. This was instant like a switch being hit.

If it was a cloud it would have had to have been a really thick one moving very very fast to accomplish this. But when I looked outside there wasnt a cloud in the sky and it wasnt windy. I thought maybe something big enough to obscure the sun falling out an upstairs window but the moment seemed too long for something falling and of course my dad noticed the same thing somewhere else.

It's really got me scratching my head :?

At some point this afternoon (uk time), I noticed a split-second blip where the daylight disapeared. I was in-doors without the lights on and not looking at a window so I didnt see what it was but it was too quick and too much a drop in light for me to come up with any reasonable explanation. It was like the daylight just disapeared for a moment.

On a whim I asked my dad if he saw anything similar and he had experienced the same thing. He was about 20 miles from where I was. Neither of us can remember seeing a drop in light like this before. If a lorry could somehow speed past right outside your window then maybe but I'm 4 floors up and he was out in the country.

Just thought I'd ask if anyone else noticed the same thing.

lol I'm not some AP guru who can just fly around the world giving people obe's whenever I want.

I've never tried this before. If it works then sure I'll help you out but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I'd advise starting with wake back to bed or trance and rope.

If you're out for a long time you're body is definitely (ok probably lol) going to fall asleep.

Conscious projection can takes ages for me and when added to the time writing in my journal and then trying to get to sleep again afterwards it often means getting hardly any sleep. But if you can project quickly and get to sleep quickly I dont see it being a problem.
