After stumbling upon this post, I found this site!

http://www.mytelekinesis.com/

Things seem more believable when there is an entire forum dedicated to the topic. I'm still not sure if it's real or not, but many people on the site seem to be practicing, and many people seem to be making progress as well. I'm sure there are more websites out there, but maybe people can help you on that forum too since not too many people seem to be familiar with the concept on this one.

2012 doesn't necessarily mean catastrophe does it? From what I've read, the Mayan calendar simply ends on a specific day that charts a galactic alignment on the winter solstice. All the other prophecies of natural disasters, nibiru, etc. are based off people who seem to be piecing current events with the end of the world theory. You said yourself that science has shown that we are simply becoming more AWARE of earthquakes that have always been going. This has scientific evidence to support it. When people say that these sites and scientific discoveries are blinding people from the truth, what hard proof do they have to support their claim?

If I may butt in-
Even in a 'proper' astral projection, you still will see elements of memories and thoughts, because you, the perceiver, shape the energy you perceive into what makes sense to you.
The difference, besides what Xanth said, is that in a 'proper' astral projection, there will be more collective information along with the subjective information, while in a 'proper' dream, there will be more psychologically-driven symbology- but there will also be some collective information too, which is why we can have shared dreams or precognitive events in 'regular' dreaming.

That makes sense. By collective information, do you mean things with an objective existance?

Projection.
Definitely projection.  :)

But really, in my opinion, even a "dream" is an astral projection... it's a projection where you're unconscious of the fact that you've projected.

Ahhh okay, so what EXACTLY do you believe is a dream? I believe that dreams spawn from memory and inner most feeling & emotions. There's probably more to it, but that's some of it I think. If dreams are projections, and projecting transcends time, then that could possibly explain premonition.

I envy your natural gift! You're like an airbender fromIf I had that gift, I'd be one of the happiest campers out there haha. I'm not sure why you've been given your power, and I'm sure there are people on this forum that can provide the possibilities, but unless you find a more experienced person with the same power, it's up to you to learn to practice. Can you create gusts of wind in any environment including indoor & outdoor? You should watch Avatar from nickelodeon. It's a children's program, but certain people in the story have the ability to control the 4 elements of earth, water, wind, & fire. There's even a part where the main character has to undergo the process of opening his chakras (which I find ironically fascinating considering so much of the show can be compared with things on this forum). Anyways, in the story, in order to learn to master their element, they must learn discipline, control, and compassion. Maybe you can relate and learn from the show. Just a suggestion :)

Also, it'd be cool if you could take a video of your power and post it here.

I don't get it, you were already out of your body when you realized you were lucid dreaming, so I don't understand how you climbed out of your LD body and ended up being out of your body again

Sorry, it was pretty confusing to me when it happened. I'll try to clarify as best I can. What happened was that when I became lucid, I began to feel the urge to wake up, but I fought this feeling and wound up back in my dream. Once back in my dream, I quickly realized what had happened, and experienced similar but slightly different sensations and visuals. Usually, when I become lucid in a dream, I wake up with my eyes closed and once I experience body vibrations and certain visuals such as white light, I attempt to exit my body. This time, I seemed to skip the step of waking up, and I believe I underwent the process of "phasing"? I'm not completely sure, but from what I've read about it, it seems to match my experience. When the environment of my dream began to shift, I found myself engulfed by complete blackness where I used the "rope" method (blindly). Next moment I knew, I was at that astral location.

i think its because once you got into the air, your intention wasnt to do anything other than just float there.

my last LD just involved me floating up and back down to the ground for like 3 minutes, idk why i had it but for some reason i was having the same problem.

actually my intention was to go to space and explore. but maybe the boy that i saw through off my concentration? I wanna mention that as I flew over the boy on his bike in the street, he called up to me in excitement. The next thing I knew, I was flying with something in my hands shaped like a football goal. I was holding onto it almost like it were a steering wheel. When I realized that I had no idea where this object came from or what it was, i threw it off to into the air and continued to fly.

morning projection (03/06/2011 @ around 10am - 11am)
I woke up with a scissor lock and tried to move not knowing that i was in paralysis. This time the process of exiting was much more smooth because i'm starting to become familiar with the feeling as i have more and more experiences. wasnt sure if i really projected or if i had gotten up out of bed physically, so i checked if my body was still in bed. i felt the blanket and could feel my body, so i lifted the covers off and saw my body. i touched my face to make sure which felt hella awkward and weird, but i knew that i was having an OBE haha. i left my room, went downstairs and out the front door. it was raining outside and nighttime (in reality, it was sunny around 11am). i floated across my front lawn a bit and then took off flying. a boy on a bike said whatsup to me in my neighborhood as i flew above him, but i think i ignored it because i wanted to go to space. next time i might just try to communicate with whoever in the non-physical for it might be interesting. as i flew, i kept failing because when i would try to veer left or right, some force would push me in the opposite direction. even as i would fly straight upwards, i would slowly begin to drift left or right. despite my attempts go in one direction, id be forced in another and end up slamming into a house or the ground. from there i just starting walking or floating down the street which brought me to some sort of foreign downtown area. then i lost it and woke up. any advice?

yeah that was a crazy experience. i would agree on the possibility that the pain had something to do with your chakras. i wouldn't know for sure. and maybe, you have such experiences because both you and your husband attract spirits. has he always had the ability to talk to spirits in his sleep? or did that start happening when he met you?

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: What am I experiencing?
March 05, 2011, 19:16:49
sounds like OOB experiences to me. maybe you just need to practice some more :) last night, i was intoxicated and somehow i fell asleep without knowing it (i thought i was still awake), and i slid out of my body from my head and i thought that i had actually PHYSICALLY slid out, but it was confusing also. the moment i became confused, i lost my grip on the OBE, and woke up back in my body. my first OBE i rolled out of my body and tried to go through my wall. when i failed and just ran into it, i got really confused. the moment i became confused, i lost a grip on the OBE and got sucked back into my body. if you're confused whether or not you're having real OBE's, then maybe that is what's holding you back.

Xanth, what do you believe dreams are? do you think that dreams actually consist in the non-physical, and we're simply not aware of it? or do you believe it's just a product of the mind, and that only when you become lucid do you end up in the non-physical?
#88
mm your experiences are pretty crazy lol. i just wanted to say that as long as you weren't physically, then i don't think you have anything to fear. if you have frightening experiences, it's easy to automatically believe that it was a demon or something of that nature. however, if you didn't believe in demons, then perhaps the experience might not have been so scary. i think you scared yourself the most by allowing your mind to assume it was demonic. the pain was odd. did you feel it throughout your body when you were standing up? when i had my first sleep paralysis experience, i woke up on my stomach, and i felt intense sensations flow from my feet, up my spine, and into my head. it scared the excrement out of me because i assumed that it was a spirit or even a demon entering my body. 3 years later, i found this site and read about similar experiences in which it's just an energy phenomenon. i pretty much scared myself lol.

This experience occured on March 2, 2011 @ around 4:00am. I typed everything out on my phone when i woke up so sorry if it's a bit choppy.

So i believe i turned a dream into an astral projection. in my dream, I was with a black friend of whom i dont know personally, and we began fighting physically. At that moment i knew i was dreaming, became lucid, and almost woke up. i remember feeling odd sensations and seeing light and and weird black shapes. I fought my body's urge to wake up and I wound back up in my dream with my friend. but became aware of what had happened, and i felt a "shift"'out of the dream again, but this time as the switch of consciousness began, i began to imagine a rope to climb out of my body with. my attempts brought on strong sensation, and i finally got out of my body. i dont recall exactly where i was except for that i was in a building. being able successful fly when i tried to surprised me. i flew into a wall hoping i could go through it but that didn't quite work. i knew id need to work on that so instead i looked for an opening. i flew up to the top from within this foreign bulding (almost like some sort of tower) and found a window to fly out. once outside, all i remember was looking up at the stars and seeing beautiful clusters of stars. i saw an orange group that caught most of my interst, so i began flying to it. as i was flying i attempted to pickup speed because i assumed i could simply surpass normal flying speed in the astral and arrive at my target quick. this sort of failed, but as i flew across the sky and got closer, the orange stars began to appear as flying birds that looked like flamingos. there was also a white group of stars that then passed me as some sort of large white birds. after seeing such a beautiful sight, i touched down to the ground. everything seemed was so beautiful and amazing, like a fantasy that i've yearned to experience all my life. also, i believe i can recall being with someone else. On the ground, I began walking and attempted to call a guide. At first nothing appeared, and i continued to walk. Then something occurred that made me turn around but i cant quite remember. After turning around, i saw a purple flower floating in mid-air. I believe it was some sort of device because i used it, figured out what it was, and kept it. Then a fellow appeared to me and we engaged in conversation. he appeared human shorter than me. the closest thing that i believe he seemed to resemble was that of a leperchaun. He seemed very excited to be there with me and the other person that i was with, because we were talking to eachother through our minds and speaking of how exciting and cool it was that we could do that. the guide and i spoke both telepathically and verbally and i told him i wished to go to the moon. for some reason he couldnt just bring me there so i decided to just fly there. one attempt at flying failed because i think i didnt have confidence in making it to the moon and i told him the problem. he told me to try again. i asked him if there were any portals that could simply take me there. he said yes and amongst the buildings and hills appeared a set of colorful "portals". he pointed at a certain one and i took off flying. i made it to the portal and it took us to an odd building with people in it. everything looked like it could be apart of the kingdom hearts world. i remembering holding two items in my hand: the rose and the other i cannot recall. with both in my hands i flew through openings and hallways, all that led upward. but, on my way up i passed a friend of mine in real life who's words he spoke when i passed him disturbed me. he said something along the lines of, "[my name], im here, you know im mad". i assumed it was just part of my mind intruding and at first i fought it off, but as i flew out the top of the building into open sky surrounded by what appeared to be trees, his words haunted my mind and i began to lose a grip on my reality. i started falling slowly and my vision began to darken as i became engulfed in blackness. i could feel my body now and i once tried to move and wake up, but i couldnt for a few seconds but i felt a few body sensations. i tried again and woke up.

When i had awoke, it felt almost like a distant memory. It seemed almost too dream-like to be a projection after waking up, but i remember the body sensations from the shift of dream consciousness into an out of my body one. i remember the feelings of the rope exiting technique. at first i projected into darkness but my vision began to clear up. as to what i was holding on to and who i was with, i am uncertain. also, there were moments where i would start thinking of my physical body, but i fought the idea of these thoughts because i knew that thinking of my physical body might cause me to wake up. Not entirely sure if this was a dream or a projection, but either way, it was the most vivid and amazing experience that i can ever recall having.

This doesnt add anything to this thread but just wanted to point out that professional is a term used for people who get PAID to do something, not people who are good at something.

If you wanna get technical of course. Using it less technically, I'm simply saying that I don't see that calling someone a professional when they're good at some hobby is bad. If I mastered astral projection, I'd take being called a "professional" as a compliment.

Finding the courage to do something isn't really a question anyone can fully answer completely. You have to give yourself courage by your own personal means. When something odd occurs (like someone calling your name), switch the panic button off and instead replace it with mere interest in finding out who called you and why. Fear is something that will only hold you back if you let it control you.

Perhaps it was a simple test. I have been attempting to communicate with my spirit guide or A spirit guide for that matter for help and since, I have been having odd yet interesting dreams. It's crazy cause I've just remembered past dreams and I have found an odd connection between the old ones and the most recent ones. Anyways, I've come to believe that in my dreams I'm being tested. I've read that guides won't contact you until you're ready and maybe I'm being checked if I'm ready. Then again, this may not be the case at all; nevertheless, I can consider it a test anyway for my own benefit. MAYBE, since you called him out, the dream was to see what you're reaction would be if he did point a gun at you. It could have been a simple test of courage and you passed :D

It sounds to me that you simply need to learn to overcome your fears. I know it's not easy, but things such as learning to keep your mind still is the perfect first step in building the will power to take control of your life and conquer your fears. Everyone knows that one day they will die, but this fact will only affect those who live in fear of dying. If you truly believe something bad will happen on 2012, then try living out your days in a much more positive manner instead of dreading that the end will be so bad. Meditation and prayer is good for comfort only if you truly believe they will help, but do not simply rely on these to help you unless you are determined and willing to help yourself.

I guess that I interpreted the grab as unfriendly because it was very firm and when I jolted awake, the feeling of it lingered on my leg.  However, I am very open to being wrong..  :-) I am greatful to have found this site.  I am glad I am not alone. :roll:I am paying a lot more attention to my thoughts especially those that I would normally deem as random.  Thank you for your response.

Perhaps, the fact that it caught you by surprise was somewhat frightful. When I first experienced sleep paralysis about 3 years ago (I had no knowledge of any of this type of stuff), I woke up and felt an strong heavy sensation flow from the bottom of my toes to the top of my head. This freaked me out, but three years later having discovered this forum, I learned that this may be an energy related phenomenon. I think you should simply take into account what you experience and try to find out the reasons behind it in both the physical and your astral research and experiences. If it is an actual negative force, you have the power to let it affect you or not. If something grabbed your leg again, and you were in a mindset that you were ready for any spontaneous event, you wouldn't find the experience very frightful. Then that negative force will no longer affect you in a bad way.

@Summerlander: I have read many of yours posts and I agree completely with where you state that if you feel punished, you are punishing yourself. You say that you do not subscribe to anything religious, but you take truths that you understand from Buddhism. I do not mindlessly follow any religion, and instead I take the truths from each that I find pertain to the basics of self-enlightenment to help understand and better oneself; however, I believe each religion seems to have a corresponding base of common ideas, e.g., Buddhist morals vs. The Ten Commandments, and I believe that many ancient religions spawned from good intentions, but have simply been twisted over the years. What's your opinion on the basis of each religion? Also, could you explain in more detail as to why you do not believe in "higher and lower".  Why is it that we are guided in this dimension. For example, in some near death experiences, people leave their body and are asked whether or not they are ready to die. I have come to consider that these are enlightened beings helping guide us lower level beings on a path to become enlightened (although the comments referring to a god as one who is taking credit doesn't sound very enlightened in my opinion). I don't disagree with anything said, by the way, Your opinion simply differs from many that I've read on the subject and I find it quite interesting.

@CFTraveler: Reading your post, it sounds like the modern Christian has mistaken Jesus' God as a "Zeus" type character. Perhaps Jesus' referring to God was more symbolic? What's your opinion as to who or what the true "God" was that Jesus refers to.

I can't quite find any posts on it, so any thoughts on the Codex Gigas and the mystery as to how it was written and the satanic imagery that it supposedly contains? According to Wikipedia "The codex has a unified look as the nature of the writing is unchanged throughout, showing no signs of age, disease or mood on the part of the scribe. This may have led to the belief that the whole book was written in a very short time (see Legend). But scientists are starting to believe and research the theory that it took over 20 years to complete" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Gigas). The national geographic episode on the book clarified that it is a mystery (for those who don't trust wiki). Speculation, thoughts, comments?

Ever since I've joined this site and done a lot of research, I'm no longer very religious because I'm more interested in learning from my own experiences in this world and through astral projection; however, I still attempt to piece together the truths and mysteries of religion based people and concepts such as Jesus. I was born and raised a catholic (and I've researched it's corruption), but I was thinking that maybe Jesus was just one who could communicate with a higher being, "God", who taught him PUL or wanted him to teach others these ways. So maybe the Christian God is just mistaken for one of MANY higher beings that exist in the higher levels of existance. Also, I was thinking that maybe the holy spirit in the holy trinity is simply mistook for being the ONLY holy spirit when it is actually a spirit guide of many that exist. I'm not saying I believe this nor that I do not believe this. The thought simply crossed my mind and I would like to hear opinions and comments on the matter.

What's with this whole "professional projector" term? Seriously, is that the term to describe a hobby now-a-days?

You know a lot of people take up all sorts of hobbies such as sports or certain arts. Then, there are those who master such hobbies. Those people are professionals. I don't quite understand why that's a bad thing lol.

That's interesting. I was actually watching a show on either discovery or the history channel about the mysteries of the world including Columbus' UFO sighting before he hit America and how the Great Pyramid of Giza produces hydrogen. Anyways, during the time of the black plague in Europe, there were sightings of this "hooded figure" before the plague would hit a town.
