Hi all, I've been projecting for some years mostly in my younger days and some in recent years but what methods do you use to distract your mind from vibrational energy fluctuations? Meaning taking my mind some where else until I have achieved separation?

I've tried focusing on my breathing, me standing else where in the house I.e. Another location, imagine levitating,  forcing my astral body to roll out but not completely successful. The vibrations always seem to distract me, any ideas? ?

Then mild vibrations started around my lower leg area. It felt like a warm feeling and then it shot up to my chest and head area. The feeling was amazing but my heart rate increased my breathing increased and my eye lids started to flutter. While this was happening I kept telling myself to just relax and let it happen. But, the feeling disapated and was near enough gone almost immediately. I lay there for an other 10 mins or so but then turned and fell asleep.

The frustrating thing is that I know what's happening to me but for the life of me I need an effective method to just let it happen instead of doing just the opposite.

Thanks for the good tip there Bedeekin. ive never really previously tried to wake myself up before i reach REM dream state or purposely had some sleep so i have a better chance of SP but on the occasions i have woke up early ive tried it. usually i wake up for the loo but ill try what youve suggested.

When ive had these they have always unsettled me and the vibrations would usually just fade away and keeping still to induce SP would off been a waste of time as it would come to nothing. Times ive managed to deal with the vibrations are when ive awoken to feel the vibrations just fading so i would become conscious when the vibrations were nearly at the end and then i would exit my body to roam the astral world. On sleep paralysis, how do you cope with the energy vibrations, eyelids fluttering and staying still?

Hi all, ive been doing AP for some years but my experiences are very infrequent and most nights i try to stay awake while my body falls asleep, only i fall asleep at every opportunity, so another fail.

But for those of you out there who try sleep paralysis and then exit, what technique do you use to stay mentally conscious? i could do with some ideas as my afirmations dont seem to be working anymore.

Fascinating and exciting it sound, what an experience.  Thank you for getting back to me.  There are just so many places where I want to travel to and experience and for me I will just have to be patient so I can tell an experience just like yours.

Many thanks I will try with real Intent and have a place in mind where I want to be. If I see someone or thing ill investgate and proceed.

One last question.  In my mind I think of all the places where we cant easily get to or visit in waking life such as off our planet, into the heart of a volcano, inside the earth or beneath the ocean.  Do you have any intent to travel to places like that and have you? Id find once im able to have some kind of consistency re projection thats exactly what id do.

Yes about 1.5 years ago when I started getting back into it I had far more experiences through reading and talking about it so yes if its in my mind more often and I keep with the research this will help me, thanks.  I know its just a matter of time.
Quick question for you,  when your' out and about' how do you travel? Meaning do you use thought transportation, walk or fly?

Many thanks for the tip and I do find that if I'm patient enough for long enough images start to appear so I will have the intent of that thought at that point in the future.

Even though in the past every time Ive projected ive managed it through being aware just as the energy vibrations are easing off and at that point I exit, but in recent times even getting to that stage is becoming challenging.

I have another question if you can answer. Upon exiting ive read individuals can just transport themselves to a given destination just by thinking it, I navigate from my bedroom by having to either walk straight through a wall to get outside or my bedroom door. All these efforts tend to lead to loss of projection even though I say out loud"vision now, energy now and clarity now".

My commands work but was wondering are you able to simply transport yourself or do u just walk etc?

Hi all, its been a while since I've been on but thought id share my experience from last night. Went to bed at the usual time and woke up in the early hours.  I started saying to myself "im out of body" over and over again. Soon started going back to sleep and as I was I realised that in the blackness behind my eyes I could see a colidescope of images.  These images I could control by desire meaning as my imagination kicked in I could see anything I desired, and did in a tunnel colidescope kind of way.

Through this I could still feel my body in bed but kept enough awareness to keep my visions on going.  I imagined a robot (dont ask why)  and was able to kit it out to look like a transformer like optimus prime all by will, I could make it look how I wanted.
After that a full dream scenario took over which I won't go into.

Ive read somewhere and for the life of me I can't find it now that there is a way of having an ootb while being in an hypnogogic state. Only this time I didn't try to exit my body as the thought never came to me, only afterwards i wish it had. What technique can I use for when I do have the Images again in order to project in the RTZ?

Yes,I was APing even before I knew what was happening. This was in the period when I was focused on dream recollection and the techniques in order to achieve this. In fact I've never had a projection using the techniques while awake,Ive always been asleep and then suddenly been aware that my astral self was loose from my physical,role out and then explore .
Until the last year and a half id had no projections for maybe 20+years,why?because I stopped practising and wasn't focused on it. The last year and a bit I have been focused and have had lots of experiences.

Hi,ill give you the short answer you had a projection,something that many on pulse want to achieve but have issues getting to where you have got. But well done even though it gave you a fright but what happened is completely natural and I encourage you to use the same technique again and get more out of it.
Its a world of wonder and even more so for you as you were able to look at yourself,something that I have achieved once but isn't all that common as most will be dragged back into the physical thus ending the projection. Experiencing your own body,chest the way you did is fascinating.
Don't be afraid its wonderful what happened and id like to say congratulations.
I'm sure you'll get more feedback on this.welcome to the other world that exists out there,the Astral..

yes i meant visit the event again BUT have the knowledge to know that im not reliving what has happened just viewing it again, but to see if the end result can help shed light on what trauma if any was caused by the seeing the event.
I mention about changing events only if it were possible, who knows what limits there are in viewing events from the past, its all in ones own head after all.

It was just something that i thought id throw out there and something that ill give a try using your technique. yes a projection from your mind is what it was, indeed it all is BUT its the resulting feelings that im interested in after projection has ended. i guess a part of your mind changed the conversation to your liking, kind of wish fulfilment and it would of been interesting to find out if her hair had indeed changed. Yes it has answered my query even though there isnt anything really pressing on my mind, but given the opportunity id like to re experience certain events, to be replayed and see if my conclusions are much changed.

Hi, now this question/suggestion may have already been aired on here but i cant find it, so here goes.

I ve read various posts over the years on time travel, different realms, space travel, alien meetings etc, but is time travel actually possible?
possible to the point as to influence the past to change the future for one self?.NO, well i havent achieved this but if and when the time comes that ive been able to have an ootb far more frequently and have longer astral experiences then i may be able to progress to that, till then im posing a thought which id like some feedback on.

While in the astral realm im guessing certain techniques are used for those of you that have time travelled in order to achieve this. so my thought is that if your able to time travel is it then possible to travel back in time to ones child hood? to be the child of then in a certain situation that at the time may have caused some kind of trauma. what i mean by this is think of a time when you were younger or in adulthood that had a real negative effect on you where the mental scares are still prevalent today, and be able to relive those same events but have the sight of mind knowing that you are re experiencing this event to try and change the outcome, is it possible?

If it were there are many times that i would like to go back to and then see how i would feel if events took a different turn,and then see what thoughts id have and if i had changed having relived the events with the events being non traumatic.

I have to agree with all the above comments.I've tried over the years to help people but I've found myself banging my head as to how often they don't practice but still crave results.I've had maybe 20 experiences over the years but ultimately its up to them to not only read about it but also to practice. But also some people are destined to never achieve it. :|

I woke up around 6.30am usual time, went to the loo and came back to bed.laying there I had a thought of having an ootb,so started repeating affirmatons,"I'm out of body"again and again.
I felt as if my astral body was loose from the physical so rolled out with a lot of resistance. I willed myself out and onto my feet.
The room seemed the same through my astral eyes but was dark and was getting darker,but as this was happening I thought that even before my journey in the astral had halted,it was about to end. So I repeated over and over again, "clarity now energy now power now".things seem to get brighter in the room so I progressed to the bedroom door. With a determined effort I walked through the door and felt resistance again but progressed to the stairs.
I walked towards my living room door to see my wife who was sat down. Aware that I was having an ootb I tried to get the attention of my wife who saw me but acted as if everything was ok,normal. my thought processes were saying maybe she may just see an outline of me in the physical world and me being in my astral vehicle. But part of me realised that not everything was as it would seem.objects were in place that I haven't got in the physical world. So maybe a dream aspect was influencing what was happening.
I exited through my kitchen window and tried to prelong the experience.
I kept on telling myself that gravity doesn't exist and that I can travel where I want to. Looking up into the dark sky I could see some stars and the moon and told myself I can go where I want to so tried to will myself to travel to the moon,but nothing happened.
I could float and will myself to rise up from the ground but not to the moon etc.
Every night and in the morning I use the same affirmations and haven't had any lucid experiences until now. my last was last September so its nice to again experience something like this again.

I thought i was all on my own on this and no one else had no idea or thoughts on it. This is something that happened again just yesterday, and the thought wasnt directed at me at all. I kind of 'picked up' on what a person was thinking and sure enough he sad exactly what was on my mind. Ill have a look re the links, thanks.

Hi all,just a quick post about something that I've been aware off for probably 2years at least. I know when your close to someone you can most times guess what they are thinking cause your close to each other. In my case that does apply. But in my normal life When someone is thinking about me or if I'm in work and I know I'm getting a certain job to do I hear the words they are about to say to me before they say it and it happens time and time again.its almost as if peoples thoughts are radio waves and I seem to tune in and know what they are going to say to me before they say it, and I'm always right.
Sometimes I will see an image of whatever that person is thinking of, what's happening? Am I psychic? How can I be more aware of peoples thoughts?can I progress further.
Any help would be appreciated. I find it fasinating when it happens..
