Farewell, Kurt. Sometimes walking away is the only choice.

I used to spend hours and hours, which stretched to days and months and years on a weightlifting board: time I couldn't help but view as wasted, except that I met my fiancée there. When she died, I took to a pursuit of spirituality and spiritualism to try and make sense of it, while passed-over loved ones repeatedly told me that it was meant to be. Had I not gone onto chat boards to fritter away a few years, I'd not be the person I am now and likely still living the same living death which took me to frittering away time on the boards.

As CFTraveller posted, when life shows you a new path, you'll be where you need to be to accept the path. We can't see the future, we can only be open to its invitations.

You have access to inexhaustible energy simply by reaching for it. When you're giving healing, it freely flows through you to the recipient.

Do you give thanks to the salamanders when you burn a candle or thanks to the sylphs for the breezes which help the candle to flicker? Be in harmony with the world around you that you might be enervated by it.

Thank you for bringing the comet. It was wonderful.

For some, maybe, for others maybe not. My main interest in this whole "extended reality" is to communicate with dead people, one in particular. The more I learn of spirit, however, the more I care to learn and reincarnation is all part of that huge bubble of knowledge that I have come to crave.

I accept that reincarnation is not something I expect ever to be able to prove or to disprove to anyone but fitting the concept and deduced ramifications into other aspects and data I come to learn of spirit "life" is interesting.

It can be difficult to find the acceptance that things will and can only happen when you are ready for them to be able to happen. As already stated, meditation is a way of training yourself.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
If a man, all alone in a forest with no woman to hear him, speaks is he still wrong?

Thanks, recoverer. I've ordered your book from Amazon along with a couple of others you mentioned from Atwater. Cheers

Merry Christmas, everyone. Sweet and lucid dreams.

This is the wrong thread, 007, but here's a link that might help illuminate the situation... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act

I think you're all missing the point. He's not suggesting that he struggles to remain in the lucid state and comes out after a while or loses focus or anything similar, he's saying that he snaps out of it immediately on realising it. I'm have a very similar issue: immediately on knowing that I'm having a vision, I lose it. There seems to be no transition time and no period of being able to remain in the vision.

I don't know whether the word mangler will take this but I had a friend refer to being watched by dead relatives as a "wank seance". :)

I didn't see anything unexpected. Our real existence is in spirit realms and we come here to be challenged without the security of knowing that we are totally safe and always protected. Under this condition of stress we learn through adversity and we progress. We meet our loved ones again back in spirit or our loved ones will write and choose their own lives to be with us again during the incarnation.

It's an eternal journey so never worry about any one individual cycle.

He doesn't suggest that we have no further memory of our life and loved one and, regardless, we can always go and re-experience it as we choose. Our true life is in spirit. We are here to train ourselves and then we return home. Think of it as a tour of duty.

lol, I understand and that was one reason I thought, "Well, been there, done that".

She was my fiancée and later my wife, so I reckoned I got a free pass on any potential spying :D. I was desperate to see her at the time, anyway, but simply ended up in her bedroom, rather than with her. I was about to go exploring when I heard my mother calling me back.

After my first one, I wrote everything down regarding where I'd been, what I'd seen etc. and sent it to the person whom I'd been trying to get to. She told me that I had accurately described her bedroom, which was a continent away from me.

You can always ask but it won't help. :)

It sounds as though you tapped into the energy stream around us all. Maybe you should start trying to feel and work with energy.
#91
You never have anything even vaguely resembling privacy. If nothing else, you have your lifelong guardian angel noting your every thought. I feel dead loved ones around me pretty much all of the time. With regards to spirit observation, though, ¿what does it matter? They'll not judge you.

With regards to AP snooping, you could try asking spirit guardians to keep everyone away.

On the other hand, I do believe in the law of attraction and that it's a question of belief, of confidence. Believe that good is in your future and that things will always proceed as you anticipate for your own greater good. Note that this is very different from "telling" yourself this on a daily basis, it's deeper and you must believe and assume the best for the natural law to be active. When you doubt the outcome, you introduce negative possibilities, which are then considered as probabilities as the future unfolds. Know that your future is the one you choose for yourself and admit no alternative possibility. You make your own luck and your own good fortune.

We don't have to live a life of pursuing wealth and luxury. Love, on the other hand, is always worth giving but I'm not convinced that it can be pursued. Sex can be pursued, as can partners to share love with. The deep soul-mate, twin-flame love that most of us idealise, though, might not be pursuable. One simply makes oneself loveable until the right person appears and you recognise one another. It's more a question of being receptive to the possibility than of pursuit.

I think the secret to being happy is not to be unhappy. I know that people are starving; are being subjected to atrocities; are living lives I might find to be a living hell and I send them my love, blessings and healing thoughts. On the other hand, I don't fill myself at any time with their suffering and plight. Not only can I not help them, other than by sending out my blessings, but taking on their burden would take away their karma and cause me to suffer for no good reason. Let the people of the world walk their own path and look to the completeness of your own. A hermit in a cave can be happy and content. With a partner by his side, he can be blissfully happy. Equally, tucked away inside his own mind, he can be content and stress-free, with no concerns beyond being fed.

Due to the dictates of being incarnate, we need to eat, sleep and find shelter. Try to limit your needs to those that truly are needs and move yourself in a direction which gives you peace.

Congratulations on finding a new, likely more spiritual, path to walk. Once you've made that change, there's probably no way to go back to the old you, although, as you suggest, you're not sure what the differences are and don't care to, anyway.

I used to get this from time to time but not at all recently. My assumption was always that it was something psychic but I never fathomed it.

Blessed be. Love and light.

If he's dismissing your experiences as merely dreams then he isn't using science to explain them but the guise of science to explain them away.

There are thousands of reported cases of near-death experiences, documented by doctors and other medical staff, where the briefly deceased has given objective details of the area around them. If your sibling chooses to ignore the wealth of evidence on the topic then he's simply refusing to acknowledge the phenomenon.

My experiences with this match Majour Ka's. I look, I see. On the other hand, I don't yet see colours in an aura.

Feeling an aura is a simple matter of being close enough and activating a sensitivity to it, ie trying to feel it. Equally, one can also often feel an aura without any effort at all, most especially if strong emotions are involved. Around one's own head, one can often feel when things invade the inner aura.
#99
You could also seek out a local spiritualist church and enquire about development or awareness classes. Meditation, as Majour Ka posts, though, is generally acknowledged as essential for awakening these abilities, as you fill yourself with love and light and breathe it back out again into the world.

Welcome to Magic! / Re: Spirit Readings?

One might also consider that Darren Brown being able to read people well using techniques different to those used by a psychic neither suggests that psychics can't read people nor that some psychics can't read people better than Darren Brown can.
