Interesting ... thanks for sharing. :)

Lovecraft created the entire Cthulhu mythos and the Necronomicon. Because so many authors have used it for their own stories and have been doing so since the early 1900's it has taken on a mythology/occult feel. But it is fiction.

Again I am not commenting on the information that has been presented here, as I have yet to get a chance to look at it. This is based on information I have looked at elsewhere and may or may not be related.

I don't think there is a guideline because it is best to know yourself and do what feels right for you. It is not so much that you keep a certain schedule as much as it is to just do it when you can.

LOL, yes I do agree, joker. Though it is because we let it have control over us. We need to learn to control our thoughts better.

Humans have been fighting each other since humans  came into existence. War is not news. War is the standard, norm. Now if there should be world peace on August 22 that would be news!

From what little I have read about a Reptilian race it sounded way too much like many of the fictional stories written by Lovecraft and Lumley. I don't know if we are talking about the same thing or not. But what I have read that is suppose to be true sounds like they took ideas from the fictional Lovecraft/Lumley reptilian race.

You don't need to be under hypnosis to have an orgasm. You can do it using only your mind.

I have never seen The Wicker Man at any Blockbuster here. You might have luck at the smaller store, as you never know what they may have. The non-chain stores here can usually have some interesting things that can't be found at the chain stores.

So if you don't mind me showing my ignorance, what is Trance Music?

I personally like all kinds of music. It depends on my mood, or what mood I want to put myself into.

Well, having been through that crap and now being married... i have to say that those intense "love" situations are mere infatuation. People simply underestimate the strength of infatuation. Most people think: "If it is  not as strong as love, its only infatuation." This simply isn't true. Infatuation can border on obsession at times. True love is not crazy. True love is perfect sanity. If you are overwhelmed by emotion, its not love in my book. Its more like addiction.

What do you do now? You realize that what you had wasn't love. Love  doesn't leave you feeling the way you do. Love hurts? No, addiction  hurts. Infatuation hurts. Consider what you are feeling as withdrawl from  a powerful drug. And keep looking for that honest, open love. Love that  lets you be yourself.. and not some crazed addict.

I think it is a mistake to look for someone to "complete" you. Its a  childish fantasy. Whats more beautiful is when two whole people come together to make two complete people. Your love should only add to your joy of  life.. not become it.

I agree!

I agree with both of you. I have noticed that my thoughts have an effect on my body, both physical and energy. And likewise doing energy exercises and/or physical exercises can influence the others. It shows that we are a system and not separate, unconnected components.

It seems silly to not see a movie simply because of an actor in it. I will go with you to see it and Pirates. I have not made it to see it either. Have you gotten your copy of the original Wicker Man yet?

Napoleon Dynamite is funny. I love it when they go into town. lol

I don't, but I do have one thought to share. Don't blame others. Your destinity is your responsibility and entirely in your hands.

Does it really matter who killed him at this point? Does it change anything? We have more important questions to answer, like is Elvis alive?

I think there are less messy ways of having an OBE.

I'm not a big fan of organized religions.

Buddhism is nice though... at the moment I am resonating slightly with some of the ways of Buddhism, but I don't take everything about it as absolute at all.

I am keeping an open mind...

Isn't that what Buddhism teaches?  :-)

Nothing is permanent, even relationships (or especially). People may come into our lives to remain with us for the rest of ours, or they come in for just a short time. Many times those that are just around a short time have a profound effect on us before we are to part paths. This girl seems to have shown you many things that you can learn about yourself, but you need to be honest both with yourself and with her. You may love her, but that does not necessarily mean you should be together. For the fact that you have posted this I think that you already know what you want and need to do.

I love Nicholas Cage. He is a great actor. I don't know if he would be right for the part in Wicker Man, but I don't know how much the character is going to change in the new version. He might be perfect for it. But in the original I don't think he would be right. I think they did a great job casting in the original.

And don't forget Nick in Face Off!

The Wicker Man Soundtrack comes with a little book that has info on the movie and music. It says that they spend a large part of the budget on a dream scene that for some reason never made it into the movie and has now been lost. I would love to see that!

I have a small garden in the flower bed on the side of the house. I am doing it organicly. After I got everything planted I found it requiring little work, though I can imagine a larger garden needing more attention. I have tomato plants, a banana pepper plant, bell pepper, zucchini, and squash. Zucchini grows like a weed. It is crazy. Some things did not seem to want to grow though.

I find having a garden very rewarding and enjoyable. It gets you in touch with where you food comes from and makes you appreciate it more.

I watched the trailer for The Wicker Man and I am unsure about it. It does not seem like it will possess the subtleness which lead to the mysterious feel of the original. I am sure I will watch it some time as I want to see how they did it, but I can't see it living up to the original. And what is up with him being "conflicted"? In the original he was pretty sure of himself. That completely changes things.

speaking of Mr. King...I very much enjoyed "the green mile"

That is exactly what I was thinking when King was mentioned. The Green Mile is a really good movie.
