I had been meditating before I started practicing Astral Projection, but I don't think those both are (or have to be) related. My OOBE's get longer over time :)

Great guide, thanks for sharing!

It took me close to a year to learn how to achieve OOBE. Patience is really the key sometimes :) But it was worth it!
#79
I don't believe in negative entities, and guess what - THAT'S WHY they never bothered me :)
#80
I've been trying to find a "higher reason" behind OOBE for years, but I ended up not finding one. It's just fun for me.

Don't bother with all those techniques until you learn how to achieve a conscious sleep paralysis. All the techniques are to be used WHEN YOU GET INTO SLEEP PARALYSIS (I wish somebody had told me this when I was struggling with it). So, focus on sleep paralysis - once you get it right, it will be very easy to achieve an OOBE from there.

the galaxies and planets for sure and also, worlds invented by writers if that's possible.

What is this statement based on? :) I'm not saying it's not true, just being curious.

This is interesting, I will certainly try!

Great share, thanks! Dreams are very powerful, I learnt that many times over time.

Welcome to Magic! / Re: Witches?

Can "witch" be referred to as "he" ?

Had the same thing happened to me when I was your age. It only helped me find my own way out of this through self-education. Good luck!

Couldn't agree more with the author of this thread. Evil is simply a different view on somebody else's view on good. Nobody means evil. All people follow their sensation of what's good. Funny thing is that different people have different definitions of good.

What does charging water have to do with Astral Projection? I've never heard of that before...
#89
Not everybody can do it. What you describe is pure magical influence and it takes lots of talent. Congrats!

The phenomena you mentioned are all very different in nature, and I believe they require many different scientific theories to explain.

I do know how to develop (not awaken :P ) clairvoyance. It's not a power, it's a learnable skill. I wrote an article about that here:

There is a very vague border between LD and AP. For many people it's a difference in terminology. The fact is, you can see parts of real world and real events in a dream as well as in AP. Also, you can see things that completely don't relate to reality both in your dreams in AP. The only difference between two phenomena that we can be SURE OF is that AP involves a sensation of leaving your body.

Wow, smoking green tea? Never heard of that! How come it has a relaxing effect? Green tea has lots of caffeine in it.
#94
What do you mean by evil manifesting in astral realms? I believe there is no evil other than your own fears creating frightening projections. I'd love to hear more about your experiences.

Hmmm...I always thought that vividness (intensity?) of our dreams have to do with the practice of dreaming. I remember my dreams used to be vague and blurry, with very little details. When I started writing them down and trying to remember all the details, the dreams themselves changed and became more vivid.

Perhaps you what you call Mind Expansion is known as Hypnagogia, when the sensations coming from your mind become very real and your mind ignores 5 senses.
#97
This is interesting. I think it's not the noticing how things are real makes the dream fall apart, but the emotions involved into noticing. Usually when we get excited in a dream/astral projection it leads to awakening. Try to avoid going like: "woooow, it's soooo awesoooome, yahooooo!" in your dream and just quietly observe everything.

Thank you guys for your comments! I'd be glad to share more experiences with you. I've had close to 200 OOBE's since that first experience - my OOBE journal is quite full :) One day I'll publish it, hah.

Same here - never really given it much though, the OOBE has always been in the center of my attention :) But yeah, vibrations are fun, too.

Next time silence your phone :)
