Welcome to Dreams! / Talking to dream figures

i convinced the people in my dream last night that i and they are dreaming. i stuck my finger though my arm hehe and then everyone else realized it and went there ways. owell needless to say then the 'dream area' was empty and i awoke from that

well in full blown lucid control. you can make your dream what ever you want to do, experience or from there have an obe - even be a platform to do magick in.

to gain lucid. the only hard part/limit is yourself. the time of results depends on how you take it on on learning lucid control.

as for books not know off i used various techniques from here and there of the net - googled for it and just starting to work through the techniques these some of what i used.

.  do a dream check. while awake look at watch or sign with words on it and away, then look back. note the time and the word - if same then i say i am not dreaming but awake if i was dreaming it would be like - here you imagine a full change of the scenario into what it would be like if you were dreaming

.  before bed i make a goal. say to my self as i drift off "tonight i will realize that i am dreaming, take full lucid control and do a meditation"

.  read about it. helps to set mood and make your subconscious take note you want to go lucid

.  30mins to hour of peacefulness before sleep. getting relaxed and letting go of all troubles. helps with remembering what you dreamed.

.  after you wake up. do it relaxed don't go 900% rush of things to do and so on. go though your dreams while writing them done noting to yourself that you should have noticed that you are dreaming and next time you will  and go lucid

.  also the 1 hour earlier alarm than you used to when you would have normally got up. set it. wake up and go back to sleep (haven't done this one)

it will be good to start dream journeying as it will help you to recognize that you are dreaming and also with remembering it all. make friend with your dreams rather than hating go to bed.

i would say the hardest part is definitely staying in the dream rather than gaining lucid. one tend to get so excited during lucid that you wake up :P

LBRP makes me feel all warm and fussy ;)

bloodsong that book you suggested is awesome (Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig)

QuoteIf you simply use the LBRP as a practice ritual and do not follow it up with any "practical" world, but rather sit there an meditate on what you feel through the rite, those feelings, those thoughts on those feelings, and the way those catalyze together, change you toward self-awareness that can lead to Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel.

so its good to meditate after LBRP if you want for higher knowledge and 'energy refil' ?

bloodsong anyknowledge on rune magic and or doing magic with music ?

to remember better in dreams im using the one or more following techniques :)

get relaxed before bedtime - meditate.
its good to stay away from exciting stuff and violence related such as news and newspapers.

burn some insence beforehand, could always listen to calm music and just relax.

before i drift off i remember myself that i will remember everything clearly with total detial. or with "im going to meet up with my subconscious who is my friend and we going to share interisting visions with gifts in it for me"
it helps alot to make 'friends' with your dreaming to fussing with it :)

could also have some tools like dream catchers or dream arrows which i heard suppose to give your more lucid and better recall.

then when i wake i get out of dream state calmly rather that imidiate WHAT WHEN HOW !!!!!!!!!!! or other imidiate thoughts/problems. then slowly starting to recall and rework through my dreams. starting with dream yournal good thing. even if its one word at time better than nothing and soon it will build and you will remember more and more at time.

best is to immidiate write it down but hehe i know for experiance that doesnt always happen ;)

Welcome to Dreams! / Repeating dream.
March 02, 2006, 13:23:51
cainam_nazier,

tests usually are maths or a language one.

irl, well allot of things are happening for the better :)

. completed my first esoteric course towards dream working/magick
. started to take charge of things, standing up and leaving the butt prints   behind in the sand rather than waiting for something to be done for me
. listen to myself and having more trust toward higher self's guidance

after that dream also had dream where a priest gave me a white bag of runes - which I'm busy decoding ;) hehe not easy, but i feel related to that one a guide figure (higher self, spiritual) giving um what be like a new beginning into magickal knowledge being it in the dream runes.

Yesterday i was sitting by myself and all sudden the rune Ansuz poped into my vision (normal way up not reversed - Meaning: Ash Tree or Divine Breath.  This Rune symbolizes justice, a shaman, authority figure, leader, clairvoyance.  TALISMAN: help in divination and magic, wise decisions, success and leadership.)

I must say having a interest in your dreams and letting it be rather rejection  makes it allot easier to remember them and interpret.

I'm also opting for career change thank goodness that's really change for the better than my current one :P

Welcome to Dreams! / Repeating dream.
February 26, 2006, 10:36:57
i had the repeating dream again. but this time the actual test/exams from which i have to redo school was being remarked because there was some marking error along the way. also there were other people in my dream that knew this time that we are redoing last grade in high school. in end we also got our final result of all the tests we wrote. I over all got a better mark in the final results and was moved up a bracket.

school as symbol in dreams. learning a lesson (current life lesson(s)), over coming a fear or a change that must have been done?

repeating dream. need to listen up and change something or a rehearsal for mind to coming changes in real live ?

This time also my emotions was more surprise to other people realizing that they are as lo redoing the whole thing and a happy that the test/exams was being remark and i could see on my end result being moved up into better end result.

anyways seems that the repeating dream is having progress. interesting at most :P

Underwear goes inside the pants...

Masterminds are another word that comes up all the time.
You keep hearing about these terrorists masterminds that get killed in the middle east.
Terrorists masterminds.
Mastermind is sort of a lofty way to describe what these guys do, don't you think?
They're not masterminds.
"OK, you take bomb, right? And you put in your backpack. And you get on bus and you blow yourself up. Alright?"
"Why do I have to blow myself up? Why can't I just:"
"Who's the <censodred> mastermind here? Me or you?"

Welcome to Dreams! / grrr nightmare
February 22, 2006, 02:19:07
hello.

I'm no genius at dreams yet

but usually nightmares or bad dreams are your inner self that wants you to take note of the dream thus having the fear and bad dream which makes you remember it.

it could be a fear, situation or something that you must deal with to overcome it. You could write the dream down and start taking it apart symbolically and metaphorically speaking :)

then checking what your subconscious or inner self wanted you to know, ask some simple question on the interpretation
1. Does the answer feel right?
2. Does the interpretation make sense?
3. Is there something useful I can do with this interpretation?
4. What would my mom or a truck driver have to say about this answer if I were to tell them?

Then also good practice to express the dream in a few forms as writing, drawing, painting and so on. That will help the flow and interpretation/message of the dream to be.

anyways hope some if it helps.

Love and peace
Ryu

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Medation
February 19, 2006, 07:30:50
I did a mediation today. i first did a chakra meditation opening and letting the energies flow.

then after being totally relaxed. started to focus on my breathing making it deep and slow. also having the mind less wondering off seeing myself afloat on water. doing that for a while i starting to loose feeling.

Then all of sudden i was holing a bright sphere above my head which was filling my body from hands to feat with radiant light. this starting to give me a feeling of well being as it filled me.

had that experience for a while. then started to get out of that and to wake state. I had a total relaxed, peace full and fulfillment feeling from within with a buzzing sensation all over

I'm not to clued up on the meditation but this surly felt good

whats anyways suppose to happen during a meditation ?

ubiquitous
don't know bout pagen, but pagan hehe

as you interpret it, for me paganism is a whole collection of things such as shamanism which Ive done some and found it to be awesome. i prefer nature over silly city life - allot better for the soul anyways. if it wasn't for that i would have never tried some Jembe drumming. its really fun to do alone or in drum circle a great relaxer, stress reliever and or for ritual magick.

as long as you walk you own path by your choice and explore its best thing to do than to be just another following something mindlessly

Leyla
interesting read, that's must be what its like to try and convert a 'close to nature' or 'primitive' people to your belief system or methods. living that balanced with the universe, nature and fellow man must good :)

on the topic:
god/goddess for me can't be captured in a book, scrolls or any man made thing. that's all interpretations of a side of god/goddess according to the person who made it and should be treated us such with some respect.

wicca, paganism, christianity, hindu, islam, budda etc etc all just categorization and interpretations.

but nice and interesting read on your take on god ubiquitous thanks :)

Welcome to Dreams! / Repeating dream.
February 14, 2006, 03:36:28
is there spesific reason why one would have a repeating dream. ive been having this dream atleast 1-3 a week.

where i dream i am back in high school. i have passed grade 12, but my parents sent me back to do it again. sometimes in the dream i would recognize this and rebel to the situation or just walk off. this usaully around the time where one would write the end exam for that grade.

hehe that one then end of world dreams especially over runned by water  and getting back from vacation the drive and all. im sure ive driven more hourse in that dream than in real life hehe

owell any insight would be nice.
