I,myself,live in Israel,so I see such things happen often.
for example,a month or 2 ago,a bus blew up in my face while I was going home from school(likely I was just close enough to see but not to get hurt)!
also,learning to suffer could be an important lesson in spirtual evolution.
I know it sounds awefull,but reality is often not as good as it should be.
people die every day. people suffer every day. some people have nothing but suffering their entire lives. this is the reality humanity knows.
humans could be veiwing it all wrong,too,and death could be a good thing,as it only comes with destiny and when it does,it will free the soul from the pains of life...of course it's just a theory.

why temporary? you will soon understand.
it's to place myself above others.
I simply told myself "Hey...they are not worth my time! they are just a bunch of foolish weak-minded humans! let them rot I don't care! I am better than they are...why should I bother getting down over something as pathetic as a HUMAN!? humpf!"
now,being snobbish won't earn you many friends,but it'll keep your spirits up fr some time []

also,what you described with the mountain bike incident was nothing like what I felt...
it's like my soul is being torn apart,burned down into power filled with hatred...however I did not feel angry OR hyper,or anything like that. so I was sure it wasn't andrenalin.

heh heh,that's the thing,I never have time to exircize anything but my finges(typing&pencil-using) and certain portions of my arm(I do a daily 60 pull ups...30 morning 30 evening )
also,
I can simply ignore them if I want to,as in,where most people would sceam in pain,I would be able to ignore all pain and remain calm.
this is also usefull to block things like anger or sadness
