A tip, sleep paralysis isn't required to have an OBE so I wouldn't focus on it to much. It might actually hold you back from achieving one if you focus on it to much. And as for the fear, there is nothing to fear
As you see you control your dreams, you control your OBEs. If you see something scary, take it on with courage and love. You'll feel a lot better after you take it on then if you just run in fear. The worst that can happen ? You wake up in amazement in your physical body at what just happened and what you saw.
