Yup, that's an excellent start.
Just work on focusing on relaxing 100%... the more you focus on that, the more your attention will be drawn away from the physical.
That's all projection is: focusing away from the physical.

and this is my FNP90. Look how happy I am to be owning my own high powered assault rifle using a 2nd party class 3 firearms and explosives permit. Who says working in Practical Special Effects doesn't have its merits?

It's a shame you turned this into a buisness

Is this Gossip Girl or Astral forums?
Because i need to get some popcorn ready if it's the 1st one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But in all honesty... you shouldn't exile someone for being different, yes his posts are long and crazy but who cares! To someone who skims over it or even reads it (I do alot) they might grab some info that will help them with something related or completely unrelated ... i personally love his post and love him too bits also

It's Robert Monroe's hemi-sync gateway series where he uses binaural beats to guide you into different states of awareness. It is pretty expensive, but you can find it and download it online pretty easily

I was watching one of Tom Campbell's videos on youtube recently and he says that you should practice meditation in many different places so after a while you you will be able to do it anywhere anytime no matter if there's noise or not. I always thought I needed complete silence to meditate, but since that is almost impossible I took the earplugs out and meditated while my parents were watching tv in the other room. If you focus enough and don't let the noise get to you, it will simply be background noise and you can do it.
And also I have been using Robert Monroe's gateway series again and it is helping me with my meditation and getting me into f10 much quicker

Don't worry about the sugar thing for now.
You're not losing focus because of sugar.
You're losing focus because you don't know how to hold your focus for long.
Work on that. This is meditation.

Have you tried to listen to the beats for a while then not to listen to it. I am not able to ap listening to something. I can do it but I find it is harder. We are all different and what works for one person may not work for another. That is interesting what you say about sugar. I do not know if I believe that. I eat sugar but only a little bit after dinner. Occasionally I might have a biscuit. I have gone out of habit of eating a lot of sugary things. I do not like eating it much anymore as it is too sweet. I am able to concentrate.
Quote from: Volgerle on January 01, 2013, 13:08:14i tried using a mantra but i always fall asleep (for obvious reasons)
try a mantra or a picture of your choice
as regards tom campbell: he says that it's about 5 hours or so until he gets 'clear' again form sugar intake, so you just need to abstain from it this period of time before your attempt
