Welcome to Magic! / Question on who to summon.
August 13, 2005, 06:09:14
You kind of need to have some kind of reason in mind for whomever you summon... you'll just annoy anyone if there isn't reason for it....

I would love to hear about your coincidences!  I don't believe in coincidences, I think that everything happens for a reason!!! 8)

Welcome to Magic! / Tarot Cards
August 13, 2005, 06:04:21
I'm so sorry, bloodsong, but I disagree with knowing people better makes the reading easier.  Knowing people better merely means that you can read in information that you already know.  When you don't know them, and don't really know their current situation, you allow the channel to be open much clearer and can receive truly unbiased information from spirit to pass on to the client.

I do take money for what I do.  If I did not, I would not be able to hardly do any of this spiritual work - I WOULD HAVE NO TIME!!  I'd be too busy earning a living.  I feel that I was given this gift for a reason, and it would be a crime to leave it unused.

I have worked in this industry for several years now, and my focus remains the same - on the people I help.  I have heard of and seen some people who lose sight of that, and become focused on the money.  They haven't lasted so long after that.

All I can say is, there needs to be some energy exchange involved, when you give a reading.  It can't be all you giving to others, with nothing in return.  If you feel this is the right path for you, then go for it.  I believe that spirit will help you on the correct path for you, and remind you when you start to stray.

Welcome to Magic! / ouija board
August 13, 2005, 05:49:49
I have done the ouiji board thing, and you can contact spirits fine, but I said earlier, you have no control over who you speak with.

Yea, even if you sit with someone that knows what they are doing!  Even if you ask for the good spirits!  My first time was with someone who had used ouiji boards on and off for years.  We ended up with something evil, and it took us a bit to get rid of them after wards - you can't just stop the seance and think that they'll run off like good little spirits!

They tend to be the ones that haven't crossed over, they tend to be the ones that like playing games and tricks when they can.  Don't get me wrong - I've heard of the occasional one where some good spirits came through and everything was wonderful - but that is like one in a million.  You will end up chatting with who knows what, they just might tell you that it is your favorite aunt Mildred who wants to converse with you.  That's just cause they like to mess with your head.

It's not worth it.

Welcome to Magic! / ouija board
August 11, 2005, 01:31:55
I would have to agree with laiana.  You just don't get to choose who you chat with when you choose a ouija board as your method of communication.  Best off not to go there.

Welcome to Magic! / begin to black magic??
August 04, 2005, 02:21:20
I would agree bloodsong.  Ritual is done, I feel, for those who need if for the extra focus and belief.  That is about it's only purpose - to add belief and focus to what you are doing.  Some need it - and that is fine - some don't - and that is fine too.

Welcome to Magic! / dark magic
August 04, 2005, 01:59:21
Of course you can send someone positive magic, my point is that it still takes just as much concentration as any other type of magic.  We shouldn't just take an "it doesn't matter" type of attitude just because you class it as "white magic".  There is consequence to everything.

My example was, of course, an extreme one, but this is the type of responsibility we take on when we do any kind of energy work.

Welcome to Magic! / dark magic
August 01, 2005, 07:02:42
I'm sorry but you can mess things around just by not staying focused for ANY kind of magic.  It is just that you can mess things around MORE when it comes to the "darker ritual".

You might think that it doesn't hurt for the lighter-type of magic to go off on the wrong direction because of a lack of concentration, but lets take my previous example, where Sally gets the healing rather than Jessica.  Sally might not be ready to face the issues that she has in her life.  Having these issues thrown in her face from the magic we have done, may cause her headaches, nightmares, depression, and if her stuff being thrust in front of her face is too bad for her to cope with, she may even get to a point where she commits suicide.  What kind of energy does that bring back to us??   :?

cesm23,

I am a Reiki Master, and I haven't heard of obe Reiki attunements.  Not that being a Reiki Master makes me all seeing and all knowing - far from it.  However, I do not see why one would need an "obe attunement"  as distance attunements work fine.

Can I ask if you understand what an attunement actually is or does?

Welcome to Magic! / begin to black magic??

It is the mind that has the power.  What we think that has the power.  What we send out we will get back.  The level of belief in what you send out will have effect on how strong things will occur, so a strong belief in what you are doing is rather important...

Welcome to Magic! / dark magic
July 31, 2005, 22:08:04
I agree that there is dark and light in everything, one cannot exist without the other.

Understand that EVERYTHING that one single person does, affects every other person in the universe.  We are energy, affecting the energy around us, which affects the energy around that which affects the energy around that, ect (you get the picture).  We do a lot without even realising the affect we are truly having.

So, we do need to understand magic as a whole, to have any concept of what we are sending out and what that in turn might do, and what that in turn might cause to happen to us on its return.  And believe me when I say it does return.  Energy is like a boomerang - it goes out there and does what it needs to and then returns with whatever that energy has attracted.

As for "darker ritual" requiring more concentration, I ask you why?  Is it because when you stuff it up the effects are more noticeable because you have sent something malicious out there rather than something pleasant?  Both require equal concentration, we are just less likely to notice anything nasty happen to us if, for example, Sally gets our healing energy rather than Jessica!

Welcome to Dreams! / Abilities lost due to age
July 31, 2005, 21:52:37
I think that we tend to close things off as children.  Either we get frightened by some aspect, and that causes us to close off that gift (maybe one of the nightmares did it for you?!), or we discover that we are different, or we are encouraged by adults to conform to what is "normal" and accepted.

They can be redeveloped, but this takes time.  If only it was as easy to reopen the door as it was to close it!   :x

I speak from experience here.  I used to see spirit as clear as I see a physical person in the room, when I was small.  It has taken some years, but I can see spirit again, although not as clear as when I was small (yet!).

Welcome to Dreams! / A Strange Dream I had
July 31, 2005, 21:45:00
Is there something from the past that you don't want to revisit?  It might be something that you need to revisit and explore in order move on in life.  There is something that has come up in your life now that reminds you of this event, and that means that the universe it telling you it is time to deal with it and move on.  It might not even be something huge, it could be something small and seemingly insignificant.  But non the less, it would assist you to acknowledge it and move on, rather than try and avoid/ignore it.

Does that make any sense to you?? :?

Well it sounds precognitive to me... recognise it, give thanks for it, and you never know what it might develop into!  8)

I think that the gifts gained by this "master" by being open and balanced would depend from person to person.  We are all individual, and gifted at different things.

I don't think that anyone of this caliber that you mention, Existential Essence, would raise their hand to it, even if they happen to be on line and find your message.  I think they tend to keep a low profile...
#92
I agree with James  , it is like a knowing.  I guess kind of the same deal they say about "how do I know I am really in love?" - you just "know".

Things don't seem a massive, constant uphill struggle.  They just seem to flow more from one thing to the next... not that there aren't struggles, because that is how we learn in life.

Things just "feel right", and the little signs around you just tell you that you are doing just fine.

I have heard of distance attunements, and absent reiki, but never obe reiki.  I have looked at your site, and am still rather skeptical myself.
#94
Trying to ignore them may help, as you don't give them anything to feed off.

You mentioned you tried taking them away.  What did you do?
#95
Great.  Keep me posted!  :P

Um, this will really confuse you then.  There are actually something like 4,000 chakras in total.  There are 7 main ones, that are well written about, and I am aware of an 8th one above my crown chakra also.  These 8 are the biggest and have the most functions.  The rest are tiny and cover our whole body.

I have heard of one about a meter under your feet, but never experienced it personally.  I've only ever seen or felt a chord connecting me to the earth below me.

I think that if there truly are these other ones that you mention and seem to want to work with, then maybe you will become aware of them when the time is right to work with them.  Until then, I'd maybe focus on the ones you know about...

I've heard that the last week, and still several more days to go, that the stars and planets have been doing strange things (one is going backwards, etc) which will cause a large sum of the population to be going crazy with their emotions.  I've noticed a great deal of emotions this week myself, which is why I checked in with an astro friend of mine.

There also seems to me to be a lot of emotional strain going on world wide, with all the terrorist activity, etc.  I have a friend who has been feeling very sad, depressed and helpless to do anything about it the last few days.  I was like that one night last week myself.  People who are emotionally sensitive are just going to pick up on this stuff I think.  You need to try to recognise it for what it is, and allow it to pass through you as best as you can.

I am sorry to be a pain, but can you define for me what you call "clairvoyance"?  I have heard varying definitions, and before raising my hand to anything, I would rather know your definition please.  :?

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Are Angels Guides??
July 28, 2005, 10:29:13
Hi everyone!  :P

Thank you all for your replies.  Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, as I was called away with work.

Runlola, I do not go into the many "labels" that other people seem to happily place on angels.  I tend to group them all together.  My view of angels is like Hypnotist1 put it, those beings of light which have not lived a physical existence before.  (note that I did not "label" the many different types of spirit guides either, rather clumped them all together under the heading 'spirit guide').

James S, thank you for your feedback, this was similar to my thinking.

Kyo, thank you for your feedback, it was an interesting read.

hypnotist1, I agree with you on the angels not having lived a physical existence before, and spirit guides having lived before.  However I am a bit unsure on what you mean by "but at a much higher important healing".

I now ask you, what attracts angels to work with one person more than another?  Is it their role they have chosen in this lifetime, or their personal energy which attracts them, maybe a combination of both, or perhaps something different again??  And in fact, why do some people have only one or two guides, and some have a multitude?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.  8)
