Just because one person says that Physical Shape Shifting is not possible is no reason to change one's view, James. [] I have read that it is possible, but physical shifting is almost always a by-product of something deeper and not the goal.

It is hard to find much information on on shape shifting. The entire subject seems to be secretive so good reliable information is hard to come by. It maybe because it is rather removed from the "norm" and has been very misunderstood as well as persecuted and condemned. Those with true information on this are probably reluctant to part with it to just anyone and publicly. But I think that the journey is at the heart of what Shamanism and Shape Shifting are about, so even though the path might be more difficult and require more work it just makes it that much more rewarding.

Whether physical shifting is real or not does not really matter I do not think. Maybe some day you will, or maybe you won't. It is the spiritual path and experiences that are important. Experiencing what the animal experiences is the lesson, whether you physical shift into an animal, experience it on a spiritual realm, or spiritual shift on the physical is not really the important thing.

I would not. From what I have heard, they may not have been hostile towards us, but they did enslave humans and use them for their own personal gain. The only reason I can see for them coming back would be to use us for their own desires again. Not something I am very keen on.

Links, I know about that. That is usually the case, but there have been a few times when I could not find any edits. I don't see it often though. And I rarely see Mustardseed's problem, but I may just not notice it.

I see the opposite happen every now and then. It will show that someone has posted, but when I go to look at the post it does not exist.

They always seem to screw up when they go from cartoon to live action. Look what they did with Scooby Do, yeah it looked cool but the movie sucked. Eye candy is nice, but I need something of nutritional value. What is wrong with a cartoon movie?

I have not had such a contact with a higher entity, but this is what I have concluded. Both free will and fate are true because time is not exactly linear. We are just experiencing time in a linear fashion. Time on some level exists all at once. Everything has already happened. That does not mean that we do not have free will. We have already made our choices with free will, but those choices have already played out. We just have yet to experience them in a linear time line, if that makes sense. It is hard to put into words but this is how I see it.

Religion and spirituality are two different things. No dogma is required. But studying religions can give you ideas about spirituality. I view religion like stepping stones to bigger things. A true look at Christianity reveals truths. It is not all about the fundamentalists that get put in the news or those that try to "save" you. Likewise there are many religions throughout the world and all hold some wisdom.
Now, why do you feel bored merely because you think there will be no afterlife. So what if there is nothing beyond death. Would that be so bad to just be nothing? Sounds rather peaceful to me. But from your post it appears that you atleast suspect there is more and you wish to explore it. So you have taken the first step toward a spiritual path. Congratulations! []

Yes to your questions, you can interact with the astral. Views may vary but I think that you are on the astral right now. It is part of you and you it. You are just not aware of it currently because you are focusing on the physical.
You would be surprised how easy it is to forget. Have you not woken up, remember having a detailed dream, but suddenly cannot remember anything about it? It is easy, but with practice you get better at remembering.

So I have read you can create anything you want. But why practice martial arts on the astral? You can do that on the physical. But do as you wish as you can do anything you desire.

Very common. Many people can easily get the vibrations but cannot go farther. Maybe you are concentrating too much on the vibrations. This can cause you to fail to project. Try being passive, relaxed, and just sort of fall into a projection. It is kind of like riding a bike, you have to find that balance. It takes awhile but with practice you finally get it.
Doubts are not bad. Question and explore everything. Don't take it at face value. Nothing wrong with that.

Well I must give you my sympathy. Most of my dreams involve things I have never seen before. I have had some weird dreams that would not be possibe on the physical. I do not know what to tell you other than try remembering your dreams. Maybe you are having them but just don't remember them.

I doubt it. It is very hard to put nonphysical things and experiences into words. There are things that just cannot be comprehended in 3D terms much less put into words. If you ever project then maybe you will understand. It is really difficult to describe the astral in physical terms.

You do not have to project in order to explore yourself. Meditate, clear your mind, and look for the answers you seek. Look within, for that is where you are and where you can find out about yourself. This may be easier to learn about yourself than projecting.

holy reality, do you have some kind of issues with sex? You don't have to answer because it is not important that I know. What is important is that you explore why you dream of sex and feel guilty about it. Do you have issues about control, you being in control of others and/or others being in control over you? Look within, meditate, and explore yourself. Try not to be judgemental about what you experience, but examine with a passive curiousity as to why you dream such things.

That is a good question, Aphex-twin. You can probably get as many different answers as there are members here.

Here is how I see it. There is no punishment, only things that you may perceive as punishment or something negative or maybe you bring it on yourself because you want punishment. There are only lessons to learn. I do not see how one can be "programmed" to be happy and blissful while inflicting pain and destruction. I am not saying that one could not get some kind of joy out of it, because clearly there are people that do. But their actions will not give them the content, blissful, spiritual high, happiness and they will ultimately be unhappy. In their search for that happiness they may continue into the act of killing for the weird joy they get, but happiness will always elude them. That is the lesson they are to learn, or you could view it as punishment. But the punishment is self inflicted because they continue doing what is hurting them and refuse to learn.

I do not know a lot about tarrot, but it is to my understanding that death usually does not mean physical death. It represents ending. Some part of your life may be coming to an end, and with all endings there is a new beginning. It is the cycle of death and rebirth. It is nothing to fear, but should be an exciting time.

It could also mean that you are merely opening up and become more aware of things psychicly. Maybe you just picked up on the card.

Why so critical? This is a great site. Astral Dynamics is a great book, but all or almost all the info in it can be found on the forums and the free guides that Robert has written. He does not try to prevent the info from showing up in the free areas. I could never say that this is just about making money. One never has to buy the book to find help. But the book is well worth the money. Maybe you should do a little looking around before jumping to judgement.

If I am not mistaken Robert Bruce says that not everyone has a spirit guide(s). I think I tend to agree that the typical idea of assigned spirit guides is wrong. Don't disregard everything beavis says as just being silly, as I think he is much more correct than he has been given credit for on this. I think that there are spirits that may choose to stick around a certain person and guide them, but it is by their choice for whatever reason. More likely one gets help every now and then, maybe from the same spirit, several, or different ones throughout. I am sure that you can call out for guidence and a helpful spirit may come. But I think that all that you need is within you. Try looking within for your answers, as everything you need to know about yourself is there. Also pay more attention to your surroundings, as spirit guides can make things know subtly in your everyday life. Though, try not to become superstious.

I think it is great for kids to learn true energy work. Then they can know what is real and fantasy when it comes to chi/ki. It will also give them many benefits, like increased awareness and concentration as well as being healthier.

I am not so sure that doing energy work increases strength a great deal. Realise that during your teens you are going through a growth spurt and are growing stronger reguardless. I do think that doing energy work may aid in development though, especially if one does physical exercises as well. Energy work will make you feel more energized and awake. Is this what you mean when you refer to being stronger?

I am not exactly sure what you mean, but I am sure that practicing NEW will not hurt you. You may be feeling a little drained from "flexing muscles" you are not use to using, so to speak. Keep it up and this drained feeling will go away as you get use to it.

Yes it is very possible, but it takes practice. It will not be something you will master soon, but if you are persistant and patient you will be well rewarded. If you are male (didn't check your profile) it usually takes around 2 months to learn techiques well. Females usually learn quicker. I do not have the time to go into details about how right now. Do a search, as this has been discussed alot with more details and suggestions for books and websites.

You have to be careful when using sexual fantasies, porn, and other outside sources. They are good for generating sexual energy, but for one they draw your attention outward when your attention is required inward. Also, they can keep your attention grounded in the physical act and groin area. Use them to become aroused, but once there turn your attention inward.

I suggest that first you learn to work with your energy well before trying it. If you cannot do this yet start practicing NEW. After you can easily become aware of your energy and move it through your body you can start working with your sexual energy.

Learn to forgive yourself. Learn to be more positive and ignore the negative. Evil is a relative term. Everyone can and does project, except Catholics. [] Just kidding. But do realize that what you expect to see can effect what you do see and experience. Your emotions will effect the experience as well, so learn to get over this guilt thing. Though being Catholic I am not sure that is possible.

The energies of sex are very powerful, even if one does not practice any technique for cultivating them, sexual magic, etc. It amplifies emotions and thoughts that are put into it. So when dealing with sex you should be mindful of your thoughts and emotions you put into it.

Porn while on the surface appears as purely lust, I have discovered recently that it can be much more. It all depends on how one views it. Much like a scene of nature can mean many different things to different people, so it is with porn. It can be a nice tool in exploring one's sexuality. Fetishes should not be ignored as they are an expression of you. They should be explored in a healthy manner to discover what it is saying about you.

My personal view is that violence and sex should not mix, though where does one draw the line between rough sex and violence. There are the extremes and then a big grey area that is pretty much personal views. To each their own. Just know that what you put in you get out amplified. One that engages in and/or views very violent sex will amplify violence into theirself. If one has disrespect for sex and their partner then that likewise will amplified within. One that puts in love and respect for their partner, themself, and sex will reap those things.

Sex, be it with one partner, many partners, by yourself or whatever, is merely just a tool. What you use it for and put into it determines what you get out of it.

I do not think that energy work is necessary to have an OBE, but it will help if you do it. Maybe the reason why you cannot move beyond the vibrations is that you are focusing too much on them.

I could care less what other people believe. It does not effect me one bit. But from his post I cannot help but wonder if he was trying to do a little DBZ. I am not going to say DBZ is real or not, no point in going there in this thread. But if he found this site I would hope he could find Robert Bruce's energy development system which is a good place to start with any energy work. Just doing a search through the posts he should be able to find a link, as I have linked to it many times.
