A good way to train control over your thoughts is to imagine children in a room in your mind, the children are going to sing a nursrey rhyme starting one at a time from the front to the back so eventualy they are all singing together, then lead them out of the room and down winding corridoors skiping and singing as they go. There are doors left and right, the trick is to lead them through the maze and back to the room they started from. If they try and leave the group ( and yhey probably will!) bring them back in line and keep them singing. The result..with practice you control your own thoughts. It will certainly help.
