Tyrone, I don't mean this to offensive at all...as I love to hear everyone's opinions, but up to this point Inguma has been a reliable source of info and I must admit his opinion wieghs a little heavier than does yours in my book.

A lot of what you seem to do is pick apart the foundations on which others build their opinions and because you don't seem to provide a great deal of evidence for this it kind of hurts your theories...just a thought.  Anyway, one thing I disagree with you wholeheartedly about is the fact that all beings in the universe are humanoid...there are definetly intelligent beings that range from small animals to gigantic, stupendous creatures.

Much love to you and everyone!

THanks for humoring me...that experience in the plane is very interesting.  I wonder what would happen if someone voluntarily seperated...?

YTou may have to wait a while, but you can even make requests for books at your local library...you just fill out a form and they usually order it.  If they don't, ask to see the library manager and they will make sure they get it.

Mr. Fenris-
I am responding to yuo original post- and I just have this to say: where much is given, much is required.  If you are doing the right things in life, ie. not getting into trouble, treating others with respect, etc. then your parents truly are in the wrong and you just need to try to respect them despite the fact that they are wrong, and love them....and then one day soon you will ove otu and have your own life.  At that point they cannot rightly say anything at all.

I am sorry, however...and I do know how you feel.  Unfortunately, many people are not very understanding and compassionate when it comes to things spiritual.  Luckily I have a family that is very open minded and although they don't necessarily share my views, they are always respectful and even interested in the things I study.  I have, however, stopped trying to explain to them the differences between subtle bodies, etc. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0> People are only ready for what they are ready for (that won't ever become a famous quote!- but it is the truth)

Thanks for sharing your plight with us, here we all understand and I hope you can consider us friends with whom you cans share anything you want to.

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>Mobius- I am always glad to let people voice their opinions...

The fact of the whole Sept 11 matter is complicated, but at the same time I do believe that it all comes down to good and evil.  Of course the US is not innocent, every country commits horrible transgressions behind closed doors and these acts are fueled by hate and self-interest.

What happened on Sept 11, however, cannot be justified by anyone who is not a murderer or a liar.  The bottom line is this: even if the US were completely honest and good, ie. they didn't start/fund coup's, didn't meddle in the affiars of other countries, etc. someone or some group somewhere would still come over and do something horrible because of pride, greed, hate, jelousy, etc.

I am at work or I would write more....until next time....

love to all!

I would recommend reading as much as you can about chakra development, etc.  RObert talks about the fact that if you haven't prepared your energy points by developing them in order, then you can experience negative sensations like the one you describe.  Please read (if you have not already) RObert's NEW ENERGY pathways- you can download it from the web page under ARTICLES.

Frank-
You're confusing me.  You say that belief systems tend to slow or limit one's progress in the astral- but then you say:
"On the Astral, the rate of your development is not determined by the intensity of your beliefs, but by the intensity of your curiosity."

I agree more with the latter statement!

"OBE's had nothing to do with church or God. It only showed that the mind is very unlimited in its pontential. I discovered a flip side to normal daily life, going to bed at night was now an adventure of discovery. I had the great curiosity of youth, and the energy to persue it."

I had to comment on the above statement which was made in this thread.  I wholeheartedly disagree with it (and maybe the author didn't mean it the way it came off).  Of course OBE's have something to do with God, God created all that is and we are all one--thus the fact that we are made up of numerous bodies (physical and subtle/spiritual bodies) is a testament to the wondrous creation of our Father.

I am a Christian and the "church" I attend actively promotes personal revelation and spiritual discovery.  There are numerous accounts of prophets recieving revelation and spiritual truths in and out of the body.  Of course it's not something we talk about often for very few are familiar with the phenomena (phenomena because it IS a natural occurence).  I feel sorry for those Christians who think it is of the devil, they,of course, are also the same Christians who I believe don't truly embrace TRUE Christianity.  And what is true Christianity?  Well, I can tell you one thing about it, not too many people know.  It takes too much work and sacrifice...and I am still hiking up it's steep and narrow way.

Much love to all!

This topic has already been discussed in a fair amount of detail.  Please go to the site's built in search engine and type in "marijuana" etc and you will find the topic(s)....

The bottom line is that the natural way is always better and marijuana has been proven to do physical and spiritual damage....

Yes, I am a Christian "Astral Projector".  I think this is a very interesting question because it brings up so many other questions with it.  First of all, I feel justified to say that anyone who claims to be Christian inherintly believes in "astral projection" although they may not know it and/or understand why.  To be a Christian means a lot of things to a lot of people, to me it means that one believes that Jesus of Nazareth was not only a great prophet and teacher, but the greatest prophet and teacher...and more importantly He is the literal Son of God and our elder brother (we also being children of our Heavenly Father).

To be a Christian also means to believe in things spiritual.  We have a physical body as well a spiritual body.  Although as a Christian I do not limit myself to the study of the Bible, I will use it as an example because most people who call themselves Christians look exclusively to the Bible for their spiritual nourishment... anyway, within the Bible one may find sufficient evidence of prophets and even Christ himself being "carried away in the spirit" when they had visions and experienced spiritual guidance.  Dreams, as we all know, are associated with OBE in many ways...the Bible is full of information regarding dreams and how/why they are vital to one's ability to recieve personal revelation.

When I have more time I would like to post more information regarding the OBE and the Christian belief system.  I do this more for my friends who are indeed Christian but who have not embraced the reality of the OBE as a natural phenomona...one that is vital to spritual progression.

After having read all of the posts under this topic I am thankful for the FACT that we can know the truthfullness of anything if we search and ask God...it may take time, effort, etc. but in the end we may know anything we want to know.  Sometimes we are not ready to know or see what we desire to understand, even when we truly desire it and think we're ready...I find myself in this plight more often than not, but it is my experience that with time I come to find out what I need to DO in order to KNOW.

Thanks for all the ideas and the respectful manner they are shared....although I sense that some of the debates are heated, I rarely see outright anger or frustration manifested here.

I think your post is very interesting...it is true that we as mortals create all of these different personas,masks/layers...and we do it subconsciously and I think in large part we do it to feed our egos, you know, our carnal desires.  I am of the belief that as babies we arrive here pretty much "blank"- our higher self.true self is in charge- and then we begin to pile on layers of expereinces, good and bad, and we develop our "personality"...then this person we become is really just a murky window through which you can see the faint image of our true self.  In Corinthians Paul says something like "We see through a glass darkly" and I have heard that if we could clearly see who we truly are we would have no desire to commit sin/fulfill our carnal passions because we would realize that we are potentially perfect beings, capable of always showing love, etc.

I think that a lot of these "personas" we create are simply products of unhealthy practices we indulge in, for example, I am a peaceful and loving person, at least I strive to be one...but within there is a murderer, or at least the potential to harbor one (I am not a murderer!  I am just making a point...) and my point is that if we allow it, anyone could become a monster...it's all about our decisions... whoa...am I making any sense...probably not, but I know what I'm thinking (it's late for one thing)

Anyway, interesting post!

Sorry, no "informed opinion" here, but here's my uninformed opinion: I believe the "mothman" is a non-physical being, although it might be able to manifest physically (see R. Bruce's posts about spiritual/astral beings that can manfiest themselves physically for more info on this...I can provide the link to this info upon request).  I believe the film that recently came out in regards to the mothman was decent in it's depiction of this particular neg enitity which has appeared various times.

cainam- it is very funny, that is-the fact that, for example, this post sort of just represented some musings I was having while surfing and look how many reponses it gets- then on the other hand I post what I feel are deep, interesting posts and no one responds...it just goes to show how our minds work.  Personal progress can be slow, and while we wait for new and exciting things to happen, which we can talk about, we like to chat and muse.

Anyway, about avatars- the little pictures- once we've chosen one, how do we go about getting it assigned to our names/posts?

Dreams of Desires-
I believe there are a lot countermeasures you can use to stop this from happening further.  I don't have a lot of time right now to list the things you may want to start doing, but I would immediately begin praying/meditating in order to repel this being.  You can attempt to increas your vibrational level and ascend beyond the planes in which these type of attacks occur.  He is obviously attacking you in the lower astral...  I would refer the problem to Robert and I would also read his work.

Prayer, with faith, never fails and I always use this as my "weapon" against psychic attackers.  Keep us updated.

I like Naziers idea of saying something totally off the wall for a number of reasons:
1. It proves the person hasn't caught you off guard and hasn't gotten to you, which is exactly while people like this do things like this.
2. It doesn't usually provoke more hate or violence, ie. a meat head isn't going to get what you say until 5 mins. after you depart...and then he wil realize you stayed positive while making him look like a fool!
3.  ---I can't remember, oh yeah...it's funny and it helps you feel good and dispells the negativity--or something like that.

A silver member:  a silver member is a person, such as I, who talks too much and listens to little... OR a person who spends too much time in this forum instead of sleeping.

Actually, depending on the amount of posts you make you get "bumped" up to different levels...if you look in the "astral chat" forum you will find a post I made all about this which subsequently attracted a forum administrator who explains the mystery behind the system...some say that after 500 posts one recieves a free flight to Australia to meet Mr. Bruce as well as a thirty-pound crystal found within one of the pyraminds in Egypt...personally I am little skeptical.

Thanks for the info!  I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we are excited to read your next book.  Thanks again (that's what I love about Robert--where else can you find an author who responds personally to his "fans"?? Robert isn't the kind of guy who hires a PR guy to dish out the info...I hope that never changes!http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>)

ps-I think the cover is kind of....ummm, weird- but who cares?  If everyone else likes it then "it's all good" (American expression for those of you unfamiliar), and besides it's not about the cover, but what's inside that counts.

THe following is the health code called the Word of Wisdom which I follow.  I find that when people follow health codes-- eat healthy, eat well balanced foods, etc-- they "discover hidden treasures of knowledge".

Excuse the letters before some the words, on the original site (www.lds.org) they are links to other information.
SECTION 89
Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Kirtland, Ohio, February 27, 1833. HC 1: 327—329. As a consequence of the early brethren using tobacco in their meetings, the Prophet was led to ponder upon the matter; consequently he inquired of the Lord concerning it. This revelation, known as the Word of Wisdom, was the result. The first three verses were originally written as an inspired introduction and description by the Prophet.

1—9, Use of wine, strong drinks, tobacco, and hot drinks proscribed; 10—17, Herbs, fruits, flesh, and grain are ordained for the use of man and of animals; 18—21, Obedience to gospel law, including the Word of Wisdom, brings temporal and spiritual blessings.

1 A aWORD OF WISDOM, for the benefit of the council of high priests, assembled in Kirtland, and the church, and also the saints in Zion—

2 To be sent greeting; not by commandment or constraint, but by revelation and the aword• of wisdom, showing forth the order and bwill• of God in the temporal salvation of all saints in the last days—

3 Given for a principle with apromise•, adapted to the capacity of the bweak• and the weakest of all csaints, who are or can be called saints.

4 Behold, verily, thus saith the Lord unto you: In consequence of aevils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of bconspiring men in the last days, I have cwarned you, and forewarn you, by giving unto you this word of wisdom by revelation—

5 That inasmuch as any man adrinketh bwine• or strong drink among you, behold it is not good, neither meet in the sight of your Father, only in assembling yourselves together to offer up your sacraments before him.

6 And, behold, this should be wine, yea, apure• wine of the grape of the vine, of your own make.

7 And, again, astrong• drinks are not for the belly, but for the washing of your bodies.

8 And again, tobacco is not for the abody, neither for the belly, and is not good for man, but is an herb for bruises and all sick cattle, to be used with judgment and skill.

9 And again, hot drinks are not for the body or belly.

10 And again, verily I say unto you, all wholesome aherbs• God hath ordained for the constitution, nature, and use of man—

11 Every herb in the season thereof, and every fruit in the season thereof; all these to be used with aprudence and bthanksgiving•.

12 Yea, aflesh• also of bbeasts• and of the fowls of the air, I, the Lord, have ordained for the use of man with thanksgiving; nevertheless they are to be used csparingly;

13 And it is pleasing unto me that they should not be aused•, only in times of winter, or of cold, or bfamine.

14 All agrain• is ordained for the use of man and of beasts, to be the staff of life, not only for man but for the beasts of the field, and the fowls of heaven, and all wild animals that run or creep on the earth;

15 And athese• hath God made for the use of man only in times of famine and excess of hunger.

16 All grain is good for the afood of man; as also the bfruit• of the vine; that which yieldeth fruit, whether in the ground or above the ground—

17 Nevertheless, wheat for man, and corn for the ox, and oats for the horse, and rye for the fowls and for swine, and for all beasts of the field, and barley for all useful animals, and for mild drinks, as also other grain.

18 And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, ashall• receive bhealth• in their navel and marrow to their bones;

19 And shall afind• bwisdom and great ctreasures of dknowledge•, even hidden treasures;

20 And shall arun• and not be bweary•, and shall walk and not faint.

21 And I, the Lord, give unto them a promise, that the adestroying angel shall bpass• by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them. Amen.

As a person who unfortunately used a number of psychadelic compounds in my youth, I suggest this: stay away from these substances.  It's like cheating...you will experience many things, some which may seem wonderful and/or illuminating, but none of what you will experience will be anything close to what you can acheive by yourself, "naturally"...and Inugman is right , at higher doses you will be disconnected from "reality" and lose complete control of your own thoughts.  I have been on hellish roller coaster rides through the mental and astral planes without any control whatsoever and was almost driven to the point of suicide once.  If you want to risk accidentally killing yourself because you think you no reason to hope for anything, then go ahead...  In other words it can be very dangerous.  While many point to the over stimulation of different parts of the brain as the dangerous aspect of this, but I point to the potentially horrific psychic effects it has on the user.  Some sensitive individuals never recover...and while the chances of one being this sensitive are slim to none, it's not worth the risk...
