How can the calendar of the I Ching make a prediction on the same date if the I Ching is 1) not a calendar and 2) does not make predicions, in the first place?

Further looking into the matter: the "Wen Wang Gua" is a system that combines I-Ching-divination with the Chinese calendar system. But still I did not find anything so far, so where do you read sth that correlates to the "end of the world" between a) these two and b) to Dec 21. 2012 of the Western calendar?

thats true...but timewave zero which was based on i ching does predict world end...so you have an ancient civilization whose calendar ends in 2012 and a highily sophisticated software both predicting the same thing....maybe its a simplistic view of looking at things...but i believe something big will happen..

Sorry,i should rephrase it...both the mayan and chinese i ching calendars end on the same day(december 21)...now,whether that signifies the end of the world or the end of an era depends on the line of thought taken by both civilizations...but i know this...that the chinese and the mayans ere extremely proficient at astronomy..and both of thier calendars end on the same day....maybe its the end of the world,maybe its not....but one thing is for sure...something major is gonna happen...

But its not only the mayan calendar,is it?the chinese I ching and the timewave zero software all predict the same thing..that the world will end on december 21 2012....thats why so much importance is being given...calendars from totally different civilizations are basically predicting the same thing...that something disastrous will occur on december 21st..

I think people are looking at it the wrong way....
What does world end mean?
The destruction of planet earth or the destruction of the human race?because one leads to the other but the other does not lead to one.......say the mayan calender is wrong...and say the mayans predicted the earth to be destroyed in 2012...so since their calendar is wrong,it means the earth wont be destroyed in 2012...but does that mean the human race is safe?no...the dinosaurs were pretty much wiped out without any severe damage to planet earth...
So,my point is...both sets of arguments can be right at the same time...the mayan calendar could be wrong but the human race could also meet its end....this can be true since the mayans never specified what they meant by the end of the world...

Besiders,correct me if i am wrong...but werent the mayans extremely proficient at astronomy...?
So..lets put all factors together...
*highly accurate mayan astronomy predicts world end on 2012
*sun is predicted to have a solar maxima in 2012..that increases the chances of solar flares..
*earth is long overdue a major disaster...the yellowstone national park volcano is said to be at least 20000 years behind schedule...
*hollywood said so....okay scratch that out.
*chineses i ching calendar reaches lowest poing in 2012..previous low points were during the two world wars...

So considering all these factors,its becomes  easier to understand why people believe the world is going to end....

Am in the same boat as you as far as the jerk thing is concerned...sometimes when i am asleep,i am suddenly woken up by a jerk and my leg/arm physically jerks for a second.....its happened to me many times...i dont know the reason for it..sorry...
When the vibrations set in,i think its important to not lose focus...couple of nights back,i experienced vibrations for the very first time and i started focussing on my breath which brought my awareness back to my physical body and the vibrations slowly went out...

Hi...from what i know,you try to take your awaereness with you as you go to sleep....your body should be sleeping and your mind should be awake...a couple of nights back,i tried this and i got frustrated as i couldnt bring my physical body to sleep...then i cursed my own inability to get a projection and i went to sleep....couple of minutes later,i was startled by a whoosh sound and i saw weird images behind my eyes and i also felt vibrations throughout my body....at this point i didnt know what to do and i concentrated on my breathing and the vibrations went away and i was back to square one....i am a beginner.....try relaxing your body and try to keep your mind alert as your body falls asleep..you should find yourself in the trance state after somtime..(i think this is how it should be done)...

Hi ...i really really need your help....

I am a very devoted guy and when i pray,i feel intense surges of devotion and energy flowing through me...
But every single time i pray with intense devotion,my solar plexus chakra starts hurting with pain...it goes away after my prayer session...but when i am praying,it pains like hell and it really takes my concentration away from the prayers..this has been a constant source of frustration for me...
Can someone please give me advice as to how i can overcome this problem..please help me.
