Lionheart, Volgerie, thank you I will try these and see how it goes, as for the no negatives statement that's interesting how close that parallels NLP in hypnosis. Good journeys to both of you, will post again soon

How can I heal others from far away

Volgerie I agree with about everything you've said. I'm not negating the idea of having restrictions to make certain learning experiences more difficult to understand the situation of that. I agree with that as well.

Zareste, no one understands what you're talking about.
"As for karma - over the past millenniums, criminals have been overtaking control of the reincarnation systems of Earth and that's part of the reason things are spiraling out of control. They snatch your spirit in the astral and send you through a judgment process, whereby you're considered a bad person if you've done things during your life that the criminals dislike, and you're put in increasingly worse bodies until you end up as a chicken in one of their factory farms. If they like you (for instance you served their militaries and promoted their cults), you move up a little bit. This usually means you're born into a slightly more wealthy family." --you

If your brash statements can have some sort of backup that doesn't reside in things you've read off the internet I'll be more open to listening.

"yeahhhh he has no clue what we're talking about" That's the sort of response an uneducated person would rebuttal with. Not to say you are uneducated. Just very childlike. Like a child. If that helps you.

Thank you to everyone else.

Lightbeam, Bedeekin, Lionheart, I would like to thank you all for these answers and ideas. I have thought about most of them but some have made me have to analyze some things slightly differently which is always good.

Lionheart I always usually agree with what you say, I still do, but what about the case of prodigies? That must be some sort of experience layover?  I've been wrong before.

Zareste, your drugs seem good. You should write a book.

Bedeekin your video game console verses playing the game experience metaphor was great, I like the idea of the general sort of *cosmic experience from playing the console. But from game to game *incarnation* you have to learn all over again. I like that example  :-D

I hold everyone on this forum in high respect. Please don't take my last post as a personal attack. I just don't like the idea of not pushing ourselves to the best of our ability, that I may be just dumb in the next life to experience being dumb. I've been picked on growing up, I get it. I don't need that again in my next life. I would like to think our push for bettering ourselves would allow more opportunities to do so. Not to go backwards

As for the rounding of perception through experiencing different forms, I agree with that. But being that we are all our own souls and experiences it would be kinda upsetting to think Hendrix was a guitar god in one life and wouldn't have the slightest inclination of being partly good at guitar in his next incarnation. I would like to think I hold a fairly high intelligence and that training that would allow me to hyperprocess my life experiences and carry it over in some for. It would be highly upsetting to think I could be just stupid in the next life.

And I know it's partly an ego thing. But I refuse to not accept an analytical answer for some fairytale idea. If we came to this system to learn measurements and such I feel that everyone else is in denial that our actions do not hold some sort of merit in the future. Why train if that were the case. There would be no development of pushing past pain. Only rolling over. Like a female dog.

Success is in the heart. Money is not to answer. But I would like to train to the best of my ability. Attempting to see the bounds of my character and possibilities.

The last post makes me feel as though this is some hippy "Just go with it man" type of stuff.

Fudge that. Fudge that hard. If I see someone suffering I try to help. I feel that other mentality is the kinda puss stuff that lets good people get hurt and everyone just watches.

Fudge that into the ground.

Thank you both, I enjoy the answers but I may have not iterated my question appropriately. It was more based on the idea of the literal physical manifestation that is your body must come from some sort of premeditation of reason or karma. Like less so your living conditions and more so the vessel you are in at this very moment.

I am rarely angry and wouldn't project in that matter : P I'm curious how that got brought up?

Thank you both regardless:)

I know genetics and the astral body or soul are separate things. But, there must be some sort of relation in some form? Like would a more pure complex being have more Fibonacci or pi based ratios genetically? (More beautiful?) I only say this cause I've had a heavy curiosity about it. Like, if we chose our situation, as bad as this sounds, wouldn't everybody choose to be beautiful? As for the reverse. I see some beautiful people who don't seem very *spiritually or ethically..good..but they get all the perks...

I am rambling but I'm hoping someone can decipher this in an analytical manner for me derived from the astral rather than a series of it is what it is statements.

Like, if you are beautiful and do well or bad, does it carry over in some form to be not so, or become so? Because with something like intelligence on the other hand. I feel like that is derived experience and cannot be dictated to be taken or given based on your ethics, or karma.

I am very poor at explaining this right now. Somebody save me! Lionheart! Somebody! !!

Oh ok I feel you  8-)

All love

To be fair desert-rat's answers are entertaining and he seems to be using the show metaphorically in a comical sort of way. He did nothing wrong

Xanth, sometimes I enjoy the simple elegance of curiosity. I don't have some swollen ego hell bent on their outcome. It's not quiet a matter of being meaningful or meaningless. Sorry if that was sharp, my mother talks like you.

I hope to have more meaningful conversations on the subject because it is fascinating.

I liked that, that was nice. I'm glad you got to see your father again LightBeam that was a heartfelt story :)

Bedeekin, I don't blame you coming away from a situation like that battling yourself. I would have the exact same situation. Trying to decipher if you re-connected with the actually conscious roaming soul of your dog, or the dogma of it being a non-physical replication/representative/non-real? With people and animals close to us I feel we would be a priority in being seen in some way? It's like the heaven thing, I don't like the idea of meeting representations of what they stood for in my mind/life :( I want to see the person I KNEW! Their soul the same way I see and feel them here! Not the representation! So I sympathize with your situation, that would keep me up at night.

Xanth, nice talking to you as well you cat picture haunts me to this day. I have not broken through but I have thought about these types of situations my whole life, my analytical mind knows that people aren't just waiting in the non-physical to be talked with. But say could I find them in their current incarnation? In whatever dimension it may be?

I read a post about a remote view on google way back, not sure if it was honest or subconscious rendering on the man part. But he was told to look for Buddha and he saw him in a ship, some sort of galactic leader of some sort. It was well told and very enticing. Well written but I couldn't tell if he was being honest/or seeing what the real buddha was really doing.

I've had the chance to do past life regressions and such, being I studied hypnosis and NLP obsessively since I was 16. A very useful tool, but fairly invasive so I tend to hold back unless someone wants to go balls to the wall. Past life regression is pretty gnarly in person vs the way you hear it in books. Being my in-experience with AP I'm sure it's the same way.

It was one of you that said before something about "You can read all you want about how to drive a car, but you know nothing about how it works until you're behind the wheel."  I liked that reference.

Szaxx, what you said is how I'd feel it would be most similar too... but I'm all talk until I walk with you guys  :-P

Hello desert-rat  :-D it's like you guys are celebrities and I went from reading about you guys in TIME to kicking it with you guys and sharing drinks and knowledge. It's pretty exciting  :-D

I tried finding that picture but I couldn't :/              Would it be over presumptuous to think that Hendrix's next incarnation would have some predisposed skill to playing guitar? And taking huge amounts of lsd.  :-D            Experience and prodigies have to stem from something right?

It has a nice beat to it  :-D

Szaxx I opened a new tab perhaps to draw more people into the question of finding cosmic "celebrities".

A nail through the foot does sound quiet sticky. That's poop  :-(

And my pyramid I love, I just don't know if I'm feeling anything significant. Placebo has known to do it's work on me so I tend to force myself to be more skeptical. This guy is just under 2 feet high too. Russian style, a natural, facing true north. Still can't post pics for some reason. How do I make it work??

Should I like rub it and kiss it

How do I see what these guys are up to now adays? Can I astrally find them? Or is there some sort of privacy from flood interest? Sorry for my difficulty in asking the question I'm sure you can understand

This  ""Like.. erm... The coordinates to a location and getting there are more like a sub routine command to locate a file within a folder using the same CPU. hmmm....""

Bedeekin this metaphor actually helped me imagine it better than I had previously. For the circumstances, most definitely not a cop out  :-D

When you said ""That is preposterous for a reality that os purely designed to function as an environment for consciousness"" This is the same argument I had with my father years ago. I spoke of reincarnation, him being a dedicated Christian had different ideas obviously but was open minded.
So I mentioned that how could heaven be paradise if everyone just "got what they want"? How could other consciousnesses interact in this "you get whatever you want world?" Not to mention the limitations with such an idea. Heaven seems like a infinite finite, if that makes any sense. That would literally be hell for me.

Hello Szaxx :)  I've made the pyramid out of wood, I used rubber tape then thought that maybe that might insulate the flow of whatever energy is getting collected. I re-taped it with something safe, knew metal was bad but haven't thought about the metals that might be near it in my room. Now for me to find out..

Also is it possible to find anybody in the astral? I've been curious what Buddha, Hilter, Henxdrix, etc. could be up to now?

Bedeekin how are you, it's nice getting to talk to you guys after reading your posts for a year. Lionheart I know what you mean, I just haven't the chance to see NPR which I am assuming is non physical realm. Still trying to break out. I've too lately had an obsession with pyramids. Not entirely sure why.

Bedeekin what about the more secretive of bases? Like in New Mexico. I'm somewhat hesitant to say names. I'm a bit of a Dale Gribble.

As for the can't hide from yourself comment, I'm not necessarily trying to hide something from myself.  I've had much introspection from dreams and psychedelics and cannot find a tie for the random things that burst from/into my consciousness.

I enjoy metaphors and deeply appreciate them but sometimes I feel I get "copped out" of an answer :/ There was a post months ago I found in the astralpulse search where I was curious about the function of "time" outside of the physical, and I know the general consensus is "everything is happening at once there is no before or after".   These are not metaphors nor comments that allow me to expand my thought or ponder, they more stick a wall in front of me and sink my feet in mud.  Like how can there be experience and intelligence without the preposition of the act of creating it? That makes my brain bleed from the simplification of something I feel is so grandiosely complex..

Not to be unappreciative if I came off as so.    But...you know what I mean?

Oh word? I just made this badboy yesterday, hopefully the file attaches. It's made of birchwood and the vertical slant wall  is 23 5/8 inches, 71 degree angle like the russian ones. Is there anything I can do with it? I've just been putting random stuff under it like quarts and..personal herbs and cactus.

Btw it's a pleasure to be speaking with you Lionheart. I've read many of your posts, always got me thinking.

And it's interesting to me because I would of imagined the ancient pyramids to be guarded or something of the sort. Area 51 I would imagine the same sort of thing.

And one more thing I'm curious about. If communication is telepathic in the astral, is there no privacy of thought? I feel I'm a good person. But some of my thoughts get somewhat wild. Stuff you wouldn't wanna yell out at a funeral or similar awkwardness. As if its there to be gnarly literally for the sake alone of being gnarly.

I tried attaching the picture, i resized it and everything but it's telling me it doesn't recognize the directory? How I get around this?

I'm new but have been surfing this site for about a year now, so as odd as it is I know most of you in some form. Thought it was about time I made an account.

Has anybody projected inside the pyramids? I hear they got some in China too. Haven't made it out to do diddly yet, but I've been stuck in sp a couple times. One where I saw a face come in front of me of very masculine looking, I guess people would describe as a grey alien but it looked nothing like what people constantly draw pictures of on tv, ect. Harsh slanted eyes. Very thick jaw and cheekbones, super testosterone type of look. Never seen anything like it before, so I thought this didn't feel to be subconsciously derived, was pretty terrifying..sorry I'm rambling.

Pyramids yes?
